Take a drive north for the stunning vista of Harlech Castle and continue up to the coastal town of Porthmadog and hop on a scenic train ride through 14 miles of rural pasture and forests at Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways.

For a taste of history visit the Maritime Museum and the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway museum, then end day at the harbourside Good Mood restaurant boasting beautiful views of the marina.
