  • "Had a fab week very well aquiped only fitting it needs a stair rail on other side because when you walk up it hard at top we are all in our 60 /70 all found the same apart from that fantastic ."

Very pleased you enjoyed your stay Anne. I appreciate your feedback on the stairs, and if you wish to return please send me a note and I will see what I can put in place to assist you. For anyone reading this they are regular gradient stairs and a banister handrail is on one side. I can look into improving mobility, so please when booking add a note to your reservation and I will get in touch with you directly to discuss. There is of course one downstairs bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower. Property Owner

  • "Thank you so much letting us stay in your wonderful Lodge Ruth."

It is so warm, cosy and comfortable and situated in a perfect location. A walk to the waterfall via a few friendly pubs or a visit to Harlech or Barmouth by car. The festive touches in the Lodge and the mulled wine, welsh cakes etc were a very much appreciated added bonus. Communication was brilliant too. We love visiting your Lodge very much and can't wait to return. Many thanks again

  • "We stayed in Robin lodge over the new year, and honestly couldnt fault anything, I booked the lodge for my wife's 40th."

. From the moment we walked in, it was relaxing, warm, and very clean. The lodge is very well equipped from the kitchen to the family games, flavoured coffee, and the hot chocolate. Even the dinner table set up ready for Christmas. We've stayed at a fair few lodge over the years, but this 1 trumps them all. The site it's self is clean and very quiet. You dont feel overlooked. Honestly, I don't think there isn't anything Kevin could do more to make this last week any more magical and special, infact we've already booked again for the same time next year...

  • "Lovely place to stay with good facilities, we really enjoyed our family holiday with our grandchildren."

Didn't sleep very well as the mattresses were too soft and could have done with a sharp kitchen knife.

About the location

LLANBEDR

Harlech 3 miles; Barmouth 8 miles.

The pretty village of Llanbedr quietly nestles in ancient woodland between The Rhinogs, part of the Snowdonia Mountains, and the stunning golden beaches of the North Wales coastline. Situated next to the beautiful River Artro, and boasting a mild climate due to its unusual positioning behind the high dunes of a nature reserve, this charming village has an exciting array of wildlife and birds, handy local shops, bike hire and mountain walks on your doorstep, as well as two excellent pubs. The small town of Harlech is just 3 miles away and boasts the World Heritage Site of Harlech Castle, a majestic 13th century stronghold, the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I. Popular with golfers due to its famous Royal St. David's course, Harlech also boasts an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants and the most magnificent six-mile long sandy beach, perfect for wonderful walks and family fun. Nearby Barmouth offers the amazing Panorama Walk along the beautiful Mawddach Estuary, providing breathtaking vistas, which were described by John Ruskin as “the most sublime view in Europe” and also a harbour from which you can catch a ferry to Fairbourne for a ride on the miniature railway, or a boat trip out to sea to try mackerel fishing. With the delights of Snowdonia National Park and beautiful Cardigan Bay to discover, this is a fantastic holiday location at any time of the year.
