Bramble Bank

I have been to Bramble Bank before.

It was as lovely as ever. The west facing windows made it very hot - but that can't be helped. The view and the sunsets more than make up for it.

The location of the property is ideal, with beautiful views that make for a relaxing stay.

Being all on one level is a real advantage, especially for our family as we have disabilities, and it’s also pet-friendly, which is a huge bonus. The property is homely, clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. We always enjoy staying here, and it’s become a regular favourite for us. We would highly recommend it.

We can’t fault it.

It had everything we needed. The views were wonderful and we enjoyed some beautiful sunsets.

A comfortable cottage with spectacular views. No complaints. We will return.

We enjoyed our stay at Bramble Bank.

It was comfortable, clean, well equipped and welcoming (including a very thoughtful welcome pack which we appreciated. Lovely views from the living room and a quiet and peaceful setting. Short walk down to the beach and harbour, and well placed for access to Harlech and Barmouth. An added bonus was the railway station a few minutes walk away: we took a scenic trip down to Aberdovey

Dolphins were a bonus as were the spectacular sunsets

The accommodation was in excellent order, very clean and well appointed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - hope to revisit next year. Highly recommended.

The accommodation gave us everything we needed: cosy, warm, tranquil, comfortable and well equipped, the perfect escape especially on the cold, wet blustery days! The fully enclosed garden was perfect for our pooch with unspoilt views of the bay to help us unwind and escape the city. Looking forward to returning in the future. Louise and Alan April 2026

This property is simply perfect.

The owner has thought of everything, and the property itself, along with its incredible view, truly does the rest. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and completely relaxed. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The view from the bungalow is truly special. Whether in rain or sunshine, it’s always beautiful, and we felt incredibly lucky to wake up to it each day. The terrace enjoys sunlight for most of the day, and the sunsets are absolutely stunning. In the evenings, the sky is filled with stars, making it even more magical. We will definitely be booking another stay here. Thank you so much for such a wonderful time at Bramble Bank. Gary & Phil

Bramble Bank is in a superb location with a wonderful sea view from the lounge and 1 bedroom.

The property was immaculately clean and very well equipped . Because we visited in March, we needed plenty of heating and this was easily obtained. It was a shame that the king size bed was too large for the sea view bedroom but you can't have everything can you? We would be delighted to visit Bramble Bank again during the summer months.

Bramble Bank offers stunning sea views that are the real highlight.

Inside, the house feels small and the furniture dated, though it’s clean and the kitchen is well equipped. A welcome pack would have added a nice touch. On arrival, the house was cold and took time to warm up, impacting the initial comfort. Overall, superb location and cleanliness, with room for a few small upgrades.

What can I say about this property?

What a fantastic view over the ocean from the garden & living room. It was nice to wake up in the morning sit up in bed a look out to sea. We never closed the curtains as it was nice to see the moon from the bed. The property has everything you could need from comfort to cooking. Very good selection of cooking equipment. The welcome pack was also a nice treat. We will be back again. Phil & Barbara.

I have been to Bramble Bank before so it was no surprise that it was a lovely quiet comfortable and spotless house.

It was also nice and warm which I was less sure to expect having only been in the summer before. Thank you very much.

My elderly, disabled mum, her little dog, myself and my sister had a wonderful stay in this cosy, comfortable, well-appointed little cottage.

The view of the Llyn Peninsula across Tremadog Bay from Bramble Bank is unparalleled, and changes every minute, from storms to sun, rainbows to sunsets. Unfortunately our car broke down on the Tuesday afternoon so we could no longer drive anywhere (all sorted with recovery and car hire home eventually by the RAC!), but it really didn't matter as that view (for Mum sitting on the sofa reading and knitting) and walks from the door (for me and my sister) are quite stunning. I'd recommend the walk into Harlech along the top road from Llanfair in particular. Best of all if you can catch a sunset on the way home. Thanks for a lovely stay and thanks to housekeeper Trudi for all her help. We are coming back next year, hopefully with a fixed car!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at bramble bank the views were stunning,was great for my photography,the sunsets were brilliant even the rainy days were very cozy,and thank you very much for the lovely welcome hamper much appreciated,really enjoyed the Welsh cakes and bread!

Trudy was very helpful.The garden was secure,the only thing I'd mention is the drop down from the patio to the grass we were just worried if our dog jumped off.Had everything you needed,we had a great time!! Look forward to coming again would thoroughly recommend!

Our third visit to Bramble Bank.

Fabulous location lovely cottage (new sofas excellent). We will certainly be back for a fourth time

We have stayed at numerous Sykes properties but I’ve got to say that this has been the best The welcome pack was fantastic and again the best The owners had left us fresh bread , milk , eggs , butter, Welsh cakes ,and tea and coffee The bed for me was perfect , slightly firm but that is how our own bed is We always book a supermarket delivery wherever we stay and the driver knew where we were The rear garden is totally enclosed and so our Corgi could roam around at his leisure A bonus was the beautiful hot weather we enjoyed on top of the view from the patio across the bay The owners provide a table with umbrella and reclining chairs so most of my holiday was sat on the patio totally relaxing A 20 minute drive either north or south takes you to Porthmadog or Barmouth and we had some great days out there plus Harlech is only just over a mile away with various shops and the castle to visit We are already looking at our calendar to see when we can rebook to go back And to top it all off , on the day of departure we even had the dolphins swim by quite close to the shoreline

An impeccable property, spotlessly clean with great home from home comforts.

The kitchen offers everything you need and we cooked a Roast dinner with ease. The view from the lounge was spectacular with a sighting too of the dolphins which was a treat. Great location for travelling along the coast.

Very clean property and well equipped.

Brilliant location, so peaceful with fantastic views. The sea was closer than we thought. It was a great relaxing vacation. Our dog was so relaxed there as well, loving the views and the freedom of the enclosed garden. We will stay again.

Just what the doctor ordered.

Amazing place i would recommend to anyone. Only thing I would change is I would put the zip link beds in the back bedroom. Then would be perfect in every way. Would defo stay again. Jo and Jay

It was perfect location and accomodation for the three of us.

Two of us had never been to Llandanwg before and we were delighted with what we found. Extremely comfortable, excellent facilities and a marvellous outlook. One of us had been to Llandanwg several times many years ago and coming to Bramble Bank was a wonderful return. We look forward to returning.

What a gem of a property we have discovered.

It suited ours needs perfectly. Fully Enclosed private garden with views and sunsets to die for. We even spotted some seals enjoying the calm sun beamed sea. I already want to go back! Thankyou Bramble Bank 5 ⭐️ in our opinion.

The property is in a magnificent location with world class views.

The interior is well maintained, comfortable and has a comprehensively equipped kitchen. The only drawback is that it is a little pressed for space. Would be ideal if the weather during the week had enabled us to take advantage of the outdoor environment and views. We thoroughly enjoyed the week in Bramble Bank

Lovely seaview property, well equipped and maintained.

We stayed as a mother/daughter week away; breakfasts and some dinners at the property, easy to use the kitchen; weather permitting, sitting on the patio under a parasol; very comfy living room. We would stay here again.

Firstly we were amazed by the lovely views that greeted us when we walked in the living room and while we were there we did see the Dolphins.

We really couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, the property was spotless and everything we needed was provided for and also thank you for the lovely welcome pack on arrival. One small niggle was the front gate which our dog did have access to from the back garden, we have a small dog which could have got under the gate, we did manage to find enough things to block it with though and it didn’t stop us from enjoying your lovely property. We would love to stay here again in the future.

A second visit the views are second to none.

Had a fab time and the garden very secure for our dog who loved it. Pretty location and loads of rabbits for the dog!! All amenities there and on the cooler evening the heating was good. Would recommend and will book for 2025.

The sofa badly needs upholstering, the table chairs are far too heavy.

It is a lovely chalet. Very very clean, we were pleased we booked it.xx

Had a lovely stay at Bramble Bank, appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack which even included treats for the dog| We were really lucky with the weather and managed to eat outside on the patio most nights.

The view of the sea is amazing and we had some great sunsets. Bungalow is very well equipped and comfortable and had everything we needed. Trudi the housekeeper is a lovely lady and will help with any issues. Did have an issue with the vacuum cleaner smelling but Trudi sorted us out with a new bag. We were looking to book again for next year until we saw the price increases which unfortunately did seem really steep.

It was clean and kitchen well stocked for all utensils.

The welcome pack was a lovely gesture as well. The views speak for them selves. Simply breath taking at sunset. For me personally access to the side would have been helpful as if the dogs wet your coming into the accommodation through the front all the time is a pain to try and keep it clean. The sofa also needs new seat cushions as you sink with no support. Not great if you have hip or back issues. The beds however are very comfy. We were lucky with the weather and the dog loved his first holiday by the sea.

This place is so quiet and comfortable and brilliant for sea views and setting sun.

House-keeper next door very helpful. Had problem with the fridge, but all sorted out. Thanks for another lovely week

Lovely cottage.

Amazing views. Actually stayed in this cottage in the 1970's but has been modernised since. I stayed last week of February so had some rainy days and some glorious sunny days. It can get get cold on the feet and the cottage gets cold quickly if heating is not on which is storage heaters. The views are amazing. Short walk to the beach. London House stores is an option for supplies - fresh butchers as well. South on Barmouth Road. Season and Reasons for everything household Harlech. Big Shop is Tesco Porthmadog. Could do with at least a dishwasher as tea towels don't dry in the cold. Brilliant stay overall...

The view was amazing - we enjoyed watching the sunsets over the bay and had some very clear night skies for the meteor showers! Bramble Bank was perfect for us in every way and we can't wait to come back!

Really delighted with Bramble Bank.

Warm and cosy and marvelous to lie on the settee watching the ever changing sky and sea.....right outside the window! Have rebooked already for spring, when hopefully we can sit on the patio to watch the sunset.

We had a wonderful week at Bramble Bank.

The bonus being the weather was brilliant and we sat on the patio enjoying the fantastic sea view and lovely sunsets. The cottage was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, lovely fluffy towels and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Our little dog Bonnie enjoyed the garden and being fully enclosed gave us piece of mind that she couldn’t escape. Trudi the housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. Just one thing, there were chairs for the patio but only one sun lounger. It would have been good to have another one please. We will definitely been back to enjoy another relaxing stay, good or bad weather, it doesn’t matter. Thank you

If I'm ever lucky enough to win the lottery.

I now know where I am going to live! Wow! The view is outstanding. We had a fantastic week, in this warm, cosy, clean and comfortable holiday home. I would love to be able to stay here again. The welcome pack was very good. So good, we shopped at Y groser Harlech most days. The garden was great for the dog, I think he had as good a time as we did.

The best thing about this property is the location and view which is unrivalled and superb.

The kitchen appliances are good quality and easy to use. Unfortunately that's where the positive feedback ends. It is impossible to sleep in the twin bedroom at the front of the property as the outside light is constantly on and off throughout the night and lights up the room around the edge of the curtains even with the blinds and curtains fully closed. The shower tray overflowed the first time it was used, my husband poured hot water down the plughole and a large amount of black gunk came back up into the shower tray, however it did solve the problem. The glass sliding doors in both bedrooms were un-clipped and flopping about, again in the interest of safety my husband was able to clip the doors back onto the tracks. There is a loose plastic cover strip on the outside of the bathroom window which flaps about in the wind. The bathroom door rattles because the front door is not properly fitted and therefore causes a draught. There were several rats in the garden and the household refuse bin was overflowing and full of flies. The vacuum cleaner gave out a highly offensive stench of stale dog hair and the soft furnishings also had the smell of dogs. I appreciate the property is advertised as pet friendly but the presence of dog hair and stale odours was not very pleasant. Even my five year old grandchild said that her comfort blanket didn't smell right. The carpet is stained and grubby. We are very disappointed in the cottage.

We had an excellent stay - the view is fabulous and the cottage had all we needed - very comfy beds and a lovely welcome pack on arrival.

Amazing view, a beautiful part of Wales, we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything spot on view to die for, weather was prefect, you could hear the sea at night, the dog loved the garden, I would stop again but the prices have gone up loads for same time next year,

Very clean and Trudy was helpful. Appreciated the welcome pack and also the washing up goods and soap left. Lovely to sit down in lounge of an evening and see dolphins and sunset. Our dog enjoyed her stay and garden too.
