  • "We had a lovely relaxing week here at the beginning of November."

The hot tub was fantastic and the log burner kept the house really cosy in the lounge. We went for a walk at Vyrnwy lake and saw the waterfall called Rhiwargor, which was very pretty and well worth a visit. Lyndsey the owner was lovely and friendly. It is fairly central for both Newtown and Welshpool, not big towns but worth a short visit. The Bull and Heifer pub down the road offers amazing food, so much so that we ate there on three occasions. (unusual for us). The only downside is, that it isn't particularly close to many decent walks that we could find. Overall a wonderful holiday and I would definitely recommend it if you want to chill and put your feet up.

  • "The cottage was great!"

Clean and had everything you would need. As a family it was ideal with the added bonus of being surrounded by pigs, sheep and cows. The football table and Wii were an added bonus and the hot tub was lush! We would recommend this holiday let to any family looking to get away. This part of Wales is beautiful too.

  • "We had a great stay over Christmas in Awelfan, the barn is spacious, lovely & warm, very cosy and full of character."

It was also decorated beautifully for Christmas. The children loved having their own "den" upstairs. Lynsey was on hand for anything we needed including an unforgettable tour around the farm where we given an amazing opportunity to cuddle the week-old piglets! Shame the weather was so awful but we did get to see our very picturesque surroundings on a couple of occasions. Would definitely visit again. Thanks Guys!

It has everything you need for a luxury stay. Even a lovely welcome pack which was a nice added touch. Lyndsay the owner lives across the lane and came to introduce herself which was lovely. We will definitely be returning and we have already recommended to friends at work. 5* from us
