Quarry House

Six of us had a really week at this lovely cottage.

Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The views from the the cottage are stunning and the wildlife very varied. The driveway was the only challenge but we mastered it. Would definitely would recommend this property.

Beautiful accommodation.

High end furnishings throughout and an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Outside are amazing views of the Shropshire Hills which we enjoyed to the full from the hot tub and patio where there is outdoor furniture and sun loungers . We will definitely re visit this property again .

We had a really enjoyable stay.

Beautiful surroundings, and home. Very comfortable on all levels, plenty of rooms to break out into if staying with a larger party. Hot tub was a bonus

Lovely and comfortable house with fantastic views.

When using the postcode, Sat Nav and Google Maps directed us to a nearby property (approximately 400 yards away), so finding the exact location could be slightly difficult. The roads into Priest Weston are very narrow and have a number of large potholes, so care is needed when driving.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Quarry House.

A very well presented and comfortable house. Very well equipped - a home from home. Photos do not do the house justice. Amazing views over the surrounding countryside particularly enjoyable from the hot-tub. There are fantastic walks from the doorstep and locally and some wonderful eateries nearby. We particularly enjoyed exploring Montgomery. Wouldn't hesitate to return

We had a brilliant week at Quarry House.

It's so beautifully decorated and presented. The kitchen... wow. It has so much space and the dishwasher and coffee machine (with pods provided) were a great convenience. We spent every morning having our coffee in the conservatory. The views were amazing and it's a great spot for bird watching. We spent every night in the hot tub. The extra towels were a great touch. It's a great base to explore surrounding areas. We had a great Sunday lunch at the Three Tuns in Bishops Castle. Ludlow, Clun, and Much Wenlock were lovely to visit too. The Miner's Arms is a 2 minute walk. The staff are lovely, and the pizza nights on Weds/Fri are a MUST try while you're there. The driveway is steep and potholed, but the listing made that clear before we went and we never had a problem driving or walking up to the house. But a low car might struggle. We had a problem with one of the doors, but Alex who looks after the house, came straight away to sort it for us. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Had a fabulous stay at Quarry house, the house is decorated beautifully and very comfortable ,In the lounge are lovely sofas and a smart tv with all the channels and has good WI-FI connection throughout the house ,the kitchen is outstanding and has absolutely everything you need in there.

As there were only 2 of us we stayed in the en suite bedroom with comfortable king size bed loads of storage space .Outside is a wonderful hot tub, sitting in there with such amazing views of the Shropshire hills was heaven. We can’t wait to come back!!

A stunning home in an equally beautiful setting that exceeded our expectations.

Everything was of high quality from the beds, bedding to the items supplied in the kitchen. If I could suggest one thing it would be for the smallest room to have plug sockets by the bed for phone charging and an easily accessible mirror. It didnt affect the stay and the rest of the house is so beautiful its a very minor issue but those additions would match the other 2 bedrooms in terms of ease of use and comfort etc. Overall its one of the best Ive stayed in.

Beautiful house and surroundings.

Wonderful hot tub with amazing views. We all had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Be prepared for no shops locally. All 20 minute drive away. We found Tesco in Welshpool and co op the closest. Also the one and only pub round the corner only serves pizzas on Wednesday and Friday. We found it easier to eat in most nights enjoying cooking in the fantastic kitchen. The pot holes up to the house are a pain but you get used to missing the big ones!! Possibly worth providing some fans. We asked for one but it was really small.

Beautiful rural stay.

House was clean and lots of space. Kitchen was very well equipped. Beds comfortable. We were able to take a walk up to stone circle from the house.

Lovely well presented cottage in a rural area boasting wonderful views over the Shropshire countryside.

Hot tub was fabulous after a days cycling around the area. The castle hotel in Bishops Castle was our favourite place to eat. The staff and locals were really friendly. Our only negative was the steep driveway up to the property, which was full of potholes. Apart from this little niggle the property, surroundings and areas to explore made this a special 3 night break. Will will return.

A lovely home with the most amazing view!

What better way to spend an evening watching the sun go down than in the hot tub. Well equipped kitchen that has everything you need. Any queries were promptly answered. A good local pub within walking distance that does great pizza nights. Highly recommend!
