"Location was brilliant and the outdoor area for the dog is perfect."
Lots to do and see and you don't have to travel for miles.

Clean and comfortable living room. Well equipped kitchen and lovely bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting outside too as too hot indoors at times! Easy access to good walks from the house. Happy dog.

"Wonderful, luxury house."
Extremely comfortable with everything you need, furnishings, bed linen etc all of a really good quality. Fabulous views from the large conservatory. Good sound system in the Living Room, good WiFi, TV channels etc, perfect for March evenings. Delicious and generous welcome pack. Can't rate this highly enough. Cruden Bay is a great base for a relaxing holiday, with lots of great walks and beautiful beaches in the surrounding area. We truly did not want to leave!

"This is a wonderful spacious home."
The conservatory was the highlight for us and is where we spent most of our time, when not out and about. The beds were very comfortable, and the views from the bedrooms were great too. The house is ideally located for the beach and a number of walks. We hope to be back next year.

"This cottage has everything you could ever need and more!"
Never been to such a gorgeous place! All high tech features (had a Sonos but needed a subscription to use it which was disappointing) and equipped with all the kitchen equipment you could ever need if you like to cook! Very efficient brand new multi fuel stove which was a massive highlight for us! Lots and lots of space for 3 people and a Lab. Would sleep 4 couples which would make it even cheaper. Highly recommended and worth every penny!

The home was clean and had everything we needed. Location was a great base for exploring the area and only a 2 minute walk to a really nice beach area. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay and would definitely book again

"Absolutely fantastic place."
House was clean and owners went the extra mile to prepare it for our arrival for Christmas break. They decorated the house in a theme and even put the Christmas tree!!! That was the best welcome we had out of over 15 cottages that we visited so far. Great.
House is very comfortable, located in a very lovely village and 10 minutes form a beautiful beach. Perfect spot for walks and water sports.
House looked like it was just freshly redecorated and looked mostly new buy very stylish. The conservatory was a gem and we spent most of our time in it. Massive, very well build, clean, and most importantly, very warm in the winter.
Local pub/restaurant serving fantastic food so we also recommend to pay them a visit.
All about this place was perfect and we hope to come back again soon.
Big thanks to Patrick who was very responsive and helpful.

"We had a wonderful week at the "Old Cooperage" at Cruden Bay."
Even though the guests before us had left the house in a dirty condition, the owner managed to get it cleaned up in time before our arrival. Thank you for this!
What could be better managed in the future: There is a lot of privately owned stuff in the house, which should be more clearly separated from the things the holiday guests are meant to use. (But this is only my personal feeling, of course.)
Otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much, especially because the weather was wonderful sunny and warm. In fact, it was too hot to stay in the conservatory. Instead, we had wonderful walks with our dog on the nearby beach.

"Lovely dwelling which catered well for a 3 year old thru to a 83 year old."
Would most definitely recommend and may well return in the future. The Sonos units and full BT TV (inc sport) were unexpected and very welcome. A BBQ would be a useful addition but we used a disposable one for some lovely steaks from a local butcher. The fish man's visit to the village on a Wednesday at 10:00 was also a treat but take care not to over-indulge.... that is easy to do!!

"A really lovely house in a fabulous location."
The beach is so close and safe - our dog is really missing his walks along it! It was great to be able to walk to the Kilmarnock Arms for a meal - can recommend the food and the friendly staff. Minor grumble was that we had to defrost the freezer before being able to use it. That said we had a fabulous week and would recommend the house to others.

"Old Cooperage was a wonderful place to stay, it was warm, comfortable and had great views out to the beach."
The wine when we arrived was a really nice touch. There is plenty to see and do in the local area and a meal at the Kilmarnock Arms is a must.
The only small disappoint we had was when arrived the dishwasher was full and needed emptying and there was a load of washing in the machine, not major issues but not what you expect when you arrive.

"The Old Cooperage looked fantastic from the photographs but the cottage exceeded all our expectations when we arrived."
The house was beautifully furnished, was so comfortable and the conservatory... wow! The location was ideal for us. It was close to the beach and there are a number of areas offering different types of places to walk. We thought that we would use the cottage as a base to explore the surrounding area, but in truth we spent more time in Cruden Bay than we had planned. With three generations of our family sharing the same cottage we also appreciated the space that it offered allowing for the opportunity for the family to spend time together and alternatively find space to do their own thing. This cottage made our holiday one to remember.

"The huge conservatory was perfect on sunny days for a view of the beach or for watching the stars at night."
Very comfortable spacious house and able to enjoy it with our dog. It is nicely furnished and has ample off road parking. Extra benefits include use of a washing machine and drier and house was wonderfully warm even on the coldest February days. The sandy beach at Cruden Bay is wonderful for walking the dog but does get quite busy at weekend's. The local shop and pub were handy and locals were friendly. We didn't want to leave.

"The Old Cooperage cottage is excellent."
Family of four and dog in October 17. House very well proportioned, warm, clean, well furnished. Could not fault it and the view and location are amazing. Brilliant walks, beach, harbour and castle, good local pub/restaurant. Beautiful open fire and amazing conservatory. Plenty of room for all of us and more! Further afield lots to do in Aberdeen, Peterhead prison museum highly recommended. Lighthouse museum in Fraserburgh, then Pennan, Crovie, Gardenstown and Portsoy. You will have stunning beachs to yourselves. Magical walks at nature reserve at Newburgh with large seal colony. So much to see and do and then return to a superb cottage. Highly recommended.
