    The facilities are exceptional, they have thought of everything to provide you with a first class holiday. Including a spotless hot tub which is fully maintained for your safety. The beach is literally several steps from the cabin. And a delicious Chinese takeaway within walking distance. We would thoroughly recommend this property ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • "Wow! What a gorgeous place."

    The lodge was exactly as described, every detail had been thought of. Beautifully clean and a generous, good quality welcome basket was supplied. The site is immaculately kept and there is easy access to the beach. The views from the roof top seating area are lovely; the beach and sea from one direction and beautiful countryside from the other. We loved everything about Sandy Snug, the site and beautiful Norfolk.

  • "The lodge is perfect for a quiet getaway."

    Facilities are excellent making it a cosy home from home. The owner was very friendly and always available and the site was nice and quiet. Only negative was the WiFi kept dropping out which we raised to the owner and he was looking into it but that was only a small thing compared to all the positives.

  • "A fabulous lodge, had everything you could ask for, was spotlessly clean and we loved every minute of our stay."

    weather wasn't great so we didn't spend as much time in the hot tub or on the roof top terrace as we would have liked but that couldn't be helped. One thing that needs to be changed on the listing is that the closest pub is over a mile away not 0.1 of a mile which is a tad misleading.

    So pleased you enjoyed your stay. Apologies for the incorrect information on the nearest pub, I understand how annoying that must have been. I will ask for this to be corrected. Carolyn Property Owner

    The lodge is beautiful inside and exceptionally well furnished. Everything was very well provided to ensure a great holiday. The hot tub maintained every day. There was a superb welcome pack which was very thoughtful.

  • "The property is a luxurious well equipped chalet."

    Very spacious and comfortable. We found it exceptionally clean and definitely with the “wow” factor. The site is adjacent to the superb beach. We made full use of the hot-tub, which had a daily check and service. In all, we felt the property was very safe and secure on a small well-tended site and certainly one of the best we have encountered.

  • "It was very clean and had most everything we would need for our stay."

    Only thing would be a bit more cutlery and crockery but it was a really nice place. It felt spacious and was airy and light. Owners were great and had good comms even when we miscalculated our departure day they were very understanding.

  • "Sandy snug was exceptional, spotlessly clean and comfy beds."

    Kitchen was very well equipped in fact everything you could hope for and more. The hot tub was an additional bonus, very relaxing week. We even had lovely weather for March. The welcome basket was wonderful and appreciated. Short walk to the beach which our dog loved. We can’t recommend enough !

  • "Lovely large lodge in immaculate condition everything you could hope for, for a little luxury break, we really enjoyed the closeness to the beach the hot tub and the top decking where you could sit up in the sun all day long!"

    Friendly maintenance team checking our hot tub levels every day! Lovely beach walks to Walcott for fish and chips a very handy Chinese nearby. Local walks up to the church very nice too.

The property

Sandy Snug is a fabulous lodge on Sandy Beach Holiday Park in the village of Bacton, situated in Norfolk.

This property is perfect for a group of friends or a family looking for a getaway, as it boasts a hot tub on the garden decking, a first-floor terrace with wonderful sea and countryside views, as well as open-plan living.

Step up a couple of steps and skip into your holiday home with a sense of excitement.

You will be greeted by a charming open-plan living area with two sofas whispering you over to sit down.

Sink into the furniture as you get accustomed to your new, wonderful surroundings.

Move into the kitchen area and the head chef of the group will be delighted to see an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and an air fryer available.

Cook up a treat and plate it up on the dining table as everyone shares some laughs before they tuck in.

If the sun is shining, then step outside onto the decking area to dine alfresco on the garden table and chairs.

Pick out some swimwear for a dip in the hot tub to really get into the holiday mood.

When the sun is starting to set, dry off and head up to the terrace area to appreciate the splendid views before gazing up at the stars at night.

Once the breeze hits you head back inside and find something to watch on the Smart TV for evening entertainment.

If you feel a yawn coming along, then call it a night in the king-size bed, which has an en-suite shower room or in the twin room, which can be altered to make a super-king size bed.

In the mornings, have a soak in the bath or a refreshing shower ahead of another joyous day.

A shop and a pub are both on your doorstep for any essentials or a drink out.

Have a day on Bacton beach, daring to dip your toes in the waves, go for a stroll through the pretty East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden or explore the greenery in Pigneys Wood.

In Cromer, have plenty of fun on the pier with a theatre on offer for live shows, view some exhibits about the history in the Cromer Museum or meet South American wildlife at Amazona Zoo.

Slightly further afield in Sheringham, have a trip on a classic steam train at the North Norfolk Railway, get lost in the Priory Maze and Gardens or have some friendly competition at the Sheringham Golf Club.

Bacton is a village located on the wonderful Norfolk coastline and offers a good range of local amenities including pubs, shops, a fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway and cafes. It is also has its own fine golden sandy beach. Bacton Woods provide a great afternoon out for the whole family, with delightful walks to savour among nature. Nearby villages include Happisburgh with its impressive lighthouse, as well as Walcott and Mundesley with their fine sandy beaches. Bacton is a great location for exploring the beautiful scenery of the Norfolk coast, as well as the famous Norfolk Broads. Further inland there are plenty of famous National Trust properties to visit, such as Blickling, Felbrigg and Holkham Halls, or why not visit the historic city of Norwich, with its beautiful Norman Cathedral and Castle, and of course spend your money in the many shops, pubs and restaurants on offer.
