    Everything was available. Lisa the owner was very friendly and if we needed to ask her anything she responded very quickly. Beds were lovely and comfortable. There was a microwave and electric cooker, fridge freezer. Internet was ok but could be better. Will definitely stay at the studio again.

  • "A compact but cosy and comfortable accommodation on the edge of a pleasant village, roughly halfway between Norwich and the coast, so handy if you want to visit both during your stay as well as enjoying walks around the surrounding countryside."

    Although the bedrooms back onto a main road we didn't find the slight traffic noise to be an issue, and the private parking at the front of the property was very useful. We stayed at a time when the spring warmth arrived, so found that the heating (electric radiators) was set too high for our comfort and was tricky to adjust, so we ended up just turning them off for the duration, along with the automatic air freshener in the living room which sprayed every 30 minutes and we felt was unneccessary. People staying should also be aware that the internet is very slow (3mb/s when we tested it); it would be nice if the owners could provide some board games or jigsaws to make use of instead. There were also only two side plates in the kitchen which was a little annoying for a family of three. But overall the property provided good value, was clean and in good condition and we would recommend it.

  • "Property clean, tidy and comfortable, but I don’t know what makes its listing “luxury."

    ” It needs more information on how to use the heating, shower, microwave, etc. Although on one level, the description did not mention a large step down into the kitchen and bedrooms, and as we have mobility problems it was far from satisfactory. Some information about things to do in the surrounding area would be helpful. Would not return to this property. Absolutely nothing to do within walking distance, so being able to drive is a must.

    The photographs in the listing clearly show that there is a step down to both the kitchen and the bedrooms. We include images of every room to ensure guests can make an informed decision before booking. The property has never been advertised as disabled-friendly, and we made this clear to Sykes when the property was first listed, advising that it may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. Regarding the heating, the property uses storage heaters, which are preset and cannot be adjusted in the same way as standard radiators. All heaters were set to 21°C prior to your arrival. We understand that the bedroom heater had been switched off at the wall during your stay. As the heating was on and functioning before your arrival, this is unfortunately not something we are able to take responsibility for. The property was cleaned and prepared to a high standard before your arrival. However, we found that dogs had been allowed on the sofa and beds, which is against our house rules. As a result, the property was left in an unacceptable condition. Finally, the pub is approximately a two-minute walk from the property, located just down the road. Aside from staying at the pub itself, it would not be possible to be any closer. Property Owner

  • "Overall a good stay but one or two improvements to be made please."

    A visitors book would be helpful as allows visitors to point out useful or otherwise to each other. Shower mat needed as very slippy when wet. Heating of living area not good .kept reverting to a mean temperature 20d needs clearer instructions for use.

    The shower should have a non-slip base as standard where a rubber mat shouldn’t be needed but we can get one to put in there if people should require one.   • "The property was clean and comfortable and good size garden for our dog."

    We had a cake and a pint of milk left which was welcomed after a long journey. I would suggest that some condiments be left at the property and that a shower mat be used in the shower cubicle. Unfortunately I am a bit sensitive to road noise and didn't realise how close the property was to A140. Otherwise, good proximity to the coast and other venues. Cromer, Sheringham, NorthWalsham, etc and done good pubs nearby

    I’m not really sure what other condiments that could be left as we supply salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar & milk. We also supply washing up liquid, dishwasher tables, sponge’s, soaps and a selection of towels. Bottles of sauces are not hygienic for people to all share so that’s why they are not supplied. There is a shower mat provided outside the shower and the shower tray is a standard non-slip base which doesn’t need a shower mat inside. For the position of the property this cannot be changed and it is clearly stated on the Skye’s website. Property Owner
