A delightfully cosy little cottage which had everything we needed for a fun long weekend exploring North Norfolk.

Comfy beds, a well appointed kitchen and friendly owners - our 2 year old loved watching the 6 little dogs playing in the garden. Very good value too.

We had a lovely stay at Robyns nest, was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

The property was in a lovely quiet location and handy to explore most of north/east Norfolk. We would definitely stay again

3rd time staying at Robyn’s Nest

Comfortable and relaxing.

Owners very friendly and approachable. Our holiday didn't turn out as planned as we both went down with a bug, but Nikki very sympathetic, offering shopping and an extra night's stay.

Unwelcoming host who was unhelpful and brash on arrival and departure.

The listing for the property is inaccurate as it states 'pets welcome' NOT 'only one well behaved dog welcome'. Do not get caught out by this as you will have your booking terminated. Also this is an annexe to the main building with a shared small yard at the entrance where there is a clear view of the horde of items stacked within the owners property. There were stains on the carpet and a urine fragrance in the living area (suggest from previous dogs) whilst there was visible lack of cleaning around the toilet area with stains and dirt on the pipework and toilet surrounds, whilst the seat doesn't function properly.

Very warm and cosy bungalow with everything you need.

Very friendly owners and situated in a good place for exploring out. If there was one thing I’d say the mattress on the single bed wasn’t very comfortable otherwise very good and may well visit again next year.

My sister and I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely little bungalow it was cosy spotless clean and perfectly positioned for all the places we wanted to go to The owners Nicola and Paul were lovely people and we loved all the dogs they had there we would not hesitate to to recommend this accommodation to anyone we ourselves fully intend to go again next year all being well

Sykes sent an email about putting bedding in the bathroom before leaving, which wasn't much use as there is no WiFi at this cottage!

This was my 4th stay at this cottage, where a friendly welcome awaits both from the owner and the dogs. The dogs are always separated by a low fence. I have reduced mobility now and appreciate that it is a bungalow with a walk in shower,

Only 3 miles journey to Holt with plenty of places to eat etc. Friendly owner along with her dogs. Highly recommended.

Cute place to stay if you want to explore Norfolk. The cottage has everything you need set in the grounds of Pips Acre. The owners Nicky & Paul are the perfect hosts!

A very nice little cottage and we had a wonderful holiday apart from the weather which you cannot control.

This property suited us, it was clean with plenty of space for two.

Set in a beautiful location, central to see many of the attractions of Norfolk. Nicky and Paul were very friendly and helpful.

Dogs holiday, but no foot paths for walking by the road very dangerous.

. Residents dogs very yappy, so not so good if your dog reacts to small yappy dogs. Would be great if you had no dog...

First off, this property is Dog friendly.

A gem of a place, perfect for 3 staying. Spotlessly clean with everything you need from the kitchen to the bedrooms. A peaceful place to stay. The owners are lovely people and a joy to chat with about the local area.

Only a couple of minor things, a couple of small cups, small frying pan and maybe small glasses.

The towel rail in bathroom needs fixing to the bracket as kept falling off. But a lovely cosy place, the owners were lovely and very accommodating and we enjoyed our stay and would certainly return.

My wife and l spent a week at this delightful property and we had a thoroughly nice time seeing what Norfolk had to offer.

We had all amenities we needed and the owner couldn't have been nicer. Many thanks for the lovely stay.

Convenient location close to Holt. When we were there the weather was poor, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. Nicki, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. She fixed a problem with the shower promptly and efficiently, and went out of her way to get it sorted that day. (Thanks Nicki)

We had a lovely week there. Owner very helpful and friendly. Cley Marshes a must visit for birdwatching. Sheringham Park well worth a visit too. Had some lovely, sunny autumn weather.

Everything you needed was there without being excessive. Comfortable bed - slept well. Lovely friendly owner who was on hand to help but left you alone if that is what you needed. The week passed very quickly.

First stay at this delightful, small but very peaceful property.

The owners are immediately adjacent and very friendly. They have several dogs which our own dog appeared to welcome. A very good position to explore the North Norfolk coast. Hope to return.

Second time going to robyns nest very comfortable and clean the owner is really nice the only problem for me is the fridge little freezer department but this will not stop us from booking robyns nest next year

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Robyns Nest.

The owner, and our host, Natalie was very easy to talk to and helpful with any queries we had. Natalie’s husband Paul brought us a paper every day, which I appreciated. The property was warm cosy and comfortable with everything we needed, the walk in shower was a bonus. The only problem I had was the size of the bed. Although it was comfortable and warm because of my size, 6’2”” and 19 stone I found it a little bit too small but that was down to me and not the comfort of the bed. We must mention the beautiful Norfolk Terriers, ten of them, who lived next door. Always ready for a treat and a warm welcome whenever we returned to the property every teatime and first thing on a morning. Overall we had a lovely week catching up on places we hadn’t visited for over thirty years and we would recommend Robyns Nest as a comfortable central base for sightseeing the wide area.

It was warm and comfortable. The shower was great. Being February we didn’t sit outside. But in the later months there was a nice seating area guests could use. The area was very rural and quiet. There was a nice grass area where you could “walk the dog “.

Robyn’s Nest is our favourite place in North Norfolk.

It is small but ideal for the two of us and our cocker spaniel. She is friendly and very helpful about local places to visit. National Trust estates, and many long beaches, are only about half-an-hour away for long, healthy walks. We have just retuned home with our fourth visit booked for next year. Mike, Helen and Martha.

We have stayed at Robyns nest a number of times and always love to return.

The bungalow is clean and comfortable and there is everything that you need to hand. The owner Nicky is very friendly and usually on hand to answer any questions or just have a chat or be left alone as you wish. There are several National Trust properties in the area and we visited three during our stay. Felbrigg Hall was our favourite - it has an amazing walled garden. The property has a shared garden - the bonus for us was watching the owners Norwich terriers as they played during the day.Definately recommend Robyns Nest for a stay in Norfolk.

Overall Robyn's Nest Cottage was fantastic.

Nice rural location and quiet. Our host, Nicky, was pleasant and good to talk to if you wanted a chat, however, not at all intrusive. Nice tidy and clean little cottage that fulfilled our needs. Only little quibbles, which are very minor are: The Internet was a bit temperamental and kept dropping off our phone. However our tablet worked perfectly. The heating control took a little working out, but once I mastered that was a nice and warm. There were no instructions regarding recycling, if any. Otherwise, like I say, fantastic little place.

The accommodation was lovely!

Everything we needed was there. I drive myself to distraction at times by being too fussy, so it was wonderful to find everything absolutely immaculate. We were terrified by the obviously very new carpets (which were perfect) and dreaded having a spill or walking mud or dirt in with us. It was possible to control the heating ourselves and we were warm and cosy all the time. The hot water really was hot enough and there was always plenty of it. All the furniture was comfortable and like new. All the rooms were pleasant to be in and beautifully presented, welcoming and homely. It was a tranquil and peaceful spot, totally quiet at night. Parking was easy, and within the driveway of the main house so felt secure, and was very easily accessible. Little touches like toiletries, a few tea bags, sugar and washing up liquid made it easy to settle in. Thank you so very much. I cannot recommend this accommodation and location highly enough.

Lovely little house.

Nicky the owner was very welcoming and kept the property absolutely spotless. It was warm when outside temp was zero. It was well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom, towels like new, and lots of nice little domestic touches. Felt very secure and close to so many lovely places. Good patios for our dog. Will definitely recommend.

When we first entered Robyn's Nest we were horrified to see dog's urine stains on the carpet!

We had to ask the owner for an oven glove and pan scourer. There were no instruction manuals for the cooker or heating. The concrete patio at the back hadn't been swept for weeks, and there was a lot of leaf litter. The garden furniture was poor, and included a seatless chair that was lying on it's side. The back lawn was covered in dog poo. Other than that it was okay!

This is a great little property, perfectly located to explore North Norfolk.

Situated in a quiet rural area, but within easy distance of the coast and inland sights. The cottage itself is quirky, with every room an odd shape, but the facilities are good and the standard of cleanliness more than satisfactory. Car parking and outdoor seating available. Good shower. Towels and linen supplied, along with a selection of shampoo / conditioner. Kitchen well appointed. Only two quibbles. First, the owners had yet to get a cable to connect the DVD player to the new TV, though that could have been resolved within a day or so. Second, although our laptops and iPad connected to the wifi, the mobile phones managed to do so only once in a while, which led to us running out of data. But these were minor issues. Overall, a very good place to stay.

The owner was great, she was a joy to talk to and was most helpful.

The cottage is a good size for three, however a minor gripe was we had family come to visit us while we were there and there was not enough cups for everyone. Maybe a couple of extra one would be an idea? The door into the main bedroom is a sliding one and was a little difficult to close at times, again a minor gripe. The owners dogs were little darlings and one was most entertaining with her ball, our dog loved it! All in all a great holiday cottage, well located for visiting north Norfolk and not too far to the shops in Melton Constable and Briston

The property was very clean and the owners were first class, very polite and easy to talk to.

This was a very location to visiting Norfolk.

Booking was easy, plenty of info sent to me.

From the moment we arrived and were fulsomely greeted by Mrs Graves and the many terriers (!) to the end of our stay, we felt we had been in a friendly, warm atmosphere. Mrs Graves was the perfect hostess, access was really easy and parking was no problem. The accommodation was excellent (with everything we needed in terms of equipment for our self-catering stay), the beds were really comfortable, everywhere was spotless, it was great to have table and chairs in an enclosed patio for eating outside, lounge furniture was cosy and comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed and we always had lashings of hot water. An added bonus was that we could take the dog and he and Mrs Graves' dogs got on well. They were delightful and always pleased to see us.

This was our third holiday at Robyn’s Nest, a perfect size for two and our cocker spaniel.

Situated in a quiet spot near to local woods and a super local shop selling good food. We always enjoy a welcome from the small dogs the owners breed in a separate area and Niccy and Paul are extremely pleasant.

it was first rate , and with wall to wall sunshine for 7 days it was even better , one very small moan my wife and i just wished that the DVD worked as there was no connection between the TV & DVD ?

we did ask but ? overall a first rate weeks holiday

Lovely cosy quiet cottage

The accommodation was exactly as described.

It was extremely comfortable with good facilities for cooking and easy parking next to the cottage. Location was perfect for both inland and coastal walks, with the owner on hand should any problems occur. We hope to return and would not hesitate in recommending this property.

This was our second visit to Robyn’s Nest.

It suits us fine, in a very quiet area near to many lovely North Norfolk villages, Nearby Holt, is a really super small town with a variety of small local shops. Nic, the cottage owner, made us very welcome and she is friendly. We found many places to walk our dog and plenty of long sandy beaches are nearby. A boat trip to see the seals from Morston Quay was brilliant. (Mike and Helen)

Lack of support over insurance when first booking affected by Covid , and unhelpful when we asked if building work would be ongoing in October .

Why couldn't you find out and advise rather than just saying you didn't know . Not impressed !

We have just returned from 1 week in beautiful Norfolk, the cottage was as described with everything needed, very clean and with the added bonus of a new Central Heating system.

The added bonus was the weather, beautiful. Mrs Graves was always on hand if needed but did not intrude. I had many good chats with her and her dogs. The cottage is situated near enough to Cromer, Sheringham and Norwich so that you don't have to drive too far. As an older couple it suited us perfectly. Mr Graves shop was a delight and the produce very, very tempting, as I found out!! All in all a very enjoyable break away from home. Thank you, Wendy & Mick Faiers x

The bungalow was scrupulously clean and the host had gone to a lot of trouble to make it Covid free and I felt very safe.

She was also very friendly and helpful. This is my second visit and I hope to go again one day. Being in the centre of North Norfolk, it means that you are well positioned to go East or West.

Quiet spot two miles from an excellent village shop and within reach of many beaches and National Trust properties.

Warm, comfortable and compact cottage. Central location to explore the North Norfolk coast and lovely surrounding area. Not far from Holt and all its lovely amenities, Sheringham Park for walks and Weybourne cliffs for a bracing walk. Would recommend this accommodation.

We had a great time staying at the Holiday cottage, the owners very friendly and welcoming, cosy cottage perfect size for us and our dog.

The owners of the cottage also own a fantastic bakery and Butchers, the food is to die for, if we'd have known it was a 10 minute drive we wouldn't have brought any food with us.

This is a very nice cottage in a quiet setting, comfy bed, good shower and very well equipped with everything you could need for self catering.

The owner and the local people in Holt are very welcoming and helpful. Holt was beautifully lit for Christmas, easily the best we have seen anywhere. There is real community feeling in this area. We came for birdwatching and had really good but chilly weather, and saw a total of 90 species in the week. What a beautiful part of Norfolk this is, we will be back.

A lovely little bungalow.

. Very comfortable in every respect. The local scenery is stunning and it so easy to get to all the places we wish to visit from here. There were 2 in our party but I am certain 3 people would be just as happy. The all important beds and chair/sofa were very comfortable. If I could find something to complain about I would mention it but there was nothing. A really lovely little bungalow that we loved. Perhaps the most telling thing about our holiday here is our intention not only to return to the area next year but we will be returning to Robyn's Nest and not looking online at any other property That shows you how good we thought the bungalow and its setting was. We always have a North Norfolk holiday but this time we know where we will be staying months in advance

We have been to this cottage before so that says how much we liked it.

It's set in a lovely part of the world with lovely countryside and coastal towns nearby. The only thing to bear in mind about the area is some very narrow windy country roads. The cottage owner was extremely friendly and helpful.

Great location.

Lots of cupboard space which was empty. We ended up buying glasses etc due to the owner not supplying. Could have done with better fridge freezer. Could have been cleaner. No welcome pack. First place we have stayed without one. Overall we had a lovely relaxing time walking round the area and getting to the beach. Would stay there again.

This is the second time that we have been to Robyn’s Nest and again we had a lovely holiday.

We were made most welcome by Mrs Graves and certainly hope to return soon.

..Cromer and Wells close by, Holt and Fakenham very close. We had a lovely time exploring new places and visiting our favourites from long past. The cottage itself is nicely situated in a quiet spot and is next to the owners home. The owner is friendly and helpful with regard to any queries about the locality and the cottage. It is nicely furnished and has everything we needed. The owner keeps beautiful Norwich terriers which are also very friendly! I am sure we will stay there again in the future.

Lovely cottage, everything there, wonderful bedding, total autonomy. We will be back again! Little difficult to find and a bit of confusion about the address on the part of Sykes...but sorted out. You defiinitely need a car however

Mr and Mrs Graves the owners are just next door so were there if needed but didn't intrude and were very friendly and helpful.

It would be better if there was a fenced- off area with table and chairs outside Robyns Nest although we and our dog were free to use their garden. Their little dogs were friendly and got on well with our golden retriever. It's 3 miles outside of Holt so you have to drive to get anywhere, nothing in walking distance.

The accommodation was larger than we thought from your description.

Very comfortable and we were made very welcome by the owner. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just a suggestion the main bedroom door needs some adjustment as does the loose shower head and floor light is too bright for the small living area but otherwise all was lovely. Great location very convenient for local beaches and Holt Country park

It was a very clean and very comfortable and compact bungalow in a lovely setting, the owner and her family were very friendly.

Nothing really went wrong, We went cheap and we got cheap.

We were either cold or very hot, typical night storage heating. Apart from the single bed room, everything was cramped. You have the kitchen, Dining table and chairs and the suite and tv in a very small room. The cooker left a lot to be desired, The right hand front ring did not work on 6 but did on 3. The place was generally clean, but outside the shower at the base was not, and the shower door did not fit. The arms of the suite had been cleaned but not very successfully. The lady owner was very nice and friendly, and we, as dog owners and lovers did not mind the odd yapping session, which never lasted long. WE did not complain to the owner, as we thought we had what we paid for, but we did go home two day early.

It was nice to find a small place to stay for two people where there were two separate bedrooms.

The free WiFi and the good Vodafone signal make it easy to keep in touch.

The location is convenient for the North Norfolk coast and shopping is just a short car journey away. There are permitted way walks starting right opposite the property across the road. The owner, Mrs Graves, is helpful and friendly. Our dog was free to use the enclosed courtyard and shared large garden. The hanging baskets and flower pots were a delight.
