"Cottage is in a good location in the centre of Holt."
Short walk to the supermarket and the High Street shops. Well equipped and clean. Nice private little outside seating area at the rear. Holt is in a good location with lots of places to visit. Beach is nice at West Runton and there is a car park cafe and loos there. Park and ride from the airport car park to Norwich for a day. Cromer, Sheringham, Felbrigg and Blickling Hall are all within a few miles and there are many coastal and woodland walks.
Thankyou for your feedback. Holt has a lot to offer. It is especially nice in December with the Xmas lights.

"Perfectly situated close to Holt town centre and easy access to coast, Norwich and Broads."
Bathroom spotless with everything needed, but a little tired. Double bed mattress for us not the most comfortable, hence the rating. Would certainly stay again when in North Norfolk.
Hi.
Thankyou for your comments. Do come again. We have just had the bathroom gutted. It now has a walk in shower new loo and handbasin. All pristine white with grey marble wall. We were hoping to do the bathroom last November but our plumber was busy. Then he went skiing and we had to wait until May. However Thankyou for your comments.

"Felt at home as soon as we walked in."
Excellent location a short walk from the charming town of Holt and a good base for exploring the wider area. We weren't short of things to do even in January. Will definitely consider booking again.

"Lovely welcome with Christmas decorations and warmth."
Cottage was spotless and a good range of utensils etc provided. My only regret was all the taps were so hard to open and close both upstairs and downstairs for us both. Very convenient for all the shops and for Thursford which was what our trip was for. Thank you for the chocolates and biscuits. Much appreciated,
Pleased you had a nice time. Thursford is lovely. The bathroom is having a complete make over in May. It will be a walk in shower . It should have been done this year but my plumber was very busy. We did manage to get a new boiler in November.
Happy New Year to you both.

"Clean comfortable accommodation, well sited for the shops and exploring."
The bathroom whilst clean is in need of upgrading, furniture and fittings were very good.
All in all a place that I would recommend and stay again.
Thankyou for your comments. The bathroom is having a total revamp next May. I would have liked it sooner but do to me being away and a very busy plumber that is the earliest.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

"Although in a superb location with parking and adjacent to a lovely supermarket we were just a bit disappointed by the house itself."
The bathroom left much to be desired. The shower curtain was old and the floor tiles were sticky. The fan was so noisy and lack of a good shaving mirror. One or two more hand towels would have been nice. After showering both of us slipped getting out of the bath pulling the shower rail and curtain down and there there was no bathmat The whole room needs a refurb. The kitchen floor was so sticky too. A property suitable for two not for four. The kitchen was adequately equipped but after seeing the oven bottom was dirty we never cooked. We had a lovely holiday but will not return to this cottage.

"Lovely cottage in a great location."
Very clean and homely. 2 minute walk to the main town with nice independent shops, pubs, restaurants. Small patio garden. Also good location for exploring north Norfolk. Slight downside was that the kitchen and bathroom are a little dated and the oven cooked very slowly so need to allow extra, but this wouldn't stop us booking the cottage again as everything else was really lovely.
The bathroom is hopefully been updated early next year. We only have a small window to do this has bookings are very good.

"The location is terrific and I would make more of that."
When you turn into the road say that it is the first house on the left-we ended up at the other end of the road. The parking is excellent and the rear garden space (full sun in the afternoon) a delight. The house has a good feel about it and offers a great experience at a reasonable price. We came back refreshed and enjoyed our stay. We would certainly come again.
Thankyou for your kind remarks. It is a little gem. Our family love it and we have had it 25 years. We used it mostly for family until18 months ago. We have all had lots of happy weeks there. So pleased you enjoyed it.

"Been to Crowlands Cottage a couple of times now, its very comfortable and in a great location, central to shops and pubs and has car parking."
Only one downside and that is there is no freezer but we managed. Would highly recommend Crowlands Cottage.
Hi
We did have a fridge with a freezer compartment but found that it wasn’t used and being so close to Budgens that when we replaced it we decided to do without. Pleased you enjoyed your holiday.

"Two main ingredients are required for a good holiday: good weather and good accommodation."
We were lucky with the weather - sunshine all the way, albeit with a bracing wind. We didn't need any luck with the accommodation: 1 Crowlands Cottages was set up to provide a warm and comfortable week which we thoroughly enjoyed. Apart from the absence of a freezer box, which we knew about, everything we needed was provided. The property is two minutes walk from an excellent Budgens and five minutes walk from Holt town centre.
One word of warning: be careful of the low ceiling by the window in the double bedroom.

Great for a week's stay in this beautiful part of Norfolk. Minor gripes: noisy bathroom fan needs fixing, and we missed having a frozen food compartment in the fridge but overall we thought it was really very nice indeed.

"The towels and bath mat are looking a little tired."
It is a comfortable property central for visiting the local area. Appreciated use of central heating as weather dreadful.
Hello Lynne,
Sorry you thought the towels and bath mat were looking a little tired. I try and replace every year. They are always tumbled . You could have helped yourself to others in the twin bedroom cupboard.

"The location is perfect however the cottage interior needs a full refresh."
The expellar fan in the bathroom was very noisy. The mattresses need to be changed as they are rather uncomfortable.
Good morning,
Could you explain that the cottage needs a full refresh. That was decorated throughout last Autumn. Previous guests have always been satisfied . I would have met you but i am still on holiday. I do like to meet all my guests.
