  • "What a great place - and the cost was certainly reasonable."

    It's certainly off the 'beaten track' but the quiet and setting are wonderful. The Norfolk sky at night without any light pollution is worth seeing. The Old Dairy is very well appointed and has all the amenities one could desire. The thought which has gone into the development of the property is excellent. We had difficulty unlocking the garden door (from the lounge), and the 'on-suite' toilet seat required some attention but these issues were exceedingly minor compared to the excellence of the property.

  • "It was a beautiful barn conversion and was laid out exactly how we liked it."

    It had a very secure back garden which was ideal for our dog which can get a bit nervy around other dogs. The accommodation is perfectly situated to Sandringham however they do not allow dogs!! We found other things to do. It was well equipped though we eat out most days so didn’t use the kitchen for our main meals. Would definitely go back again.

    My stay here was very enjoyable nice and quiet easy access to places to walk the dog bonus having three fields close by lovely welcome pack a visit to the brisley bell is a nice experience also the old dairy cafe was excellent lovely staff and great food most enjoyable experience I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage it’s not that far from place like Cromer sheringham and wells next to sea for a day on the beach

  • "Had a fantastic week,quite are but area we know quite well."

    There during heatwave but house was cool for dogs and having old dairy for in worked nicely .House was very clean on arrival kitchen has all you will need and cumfy lounge area.Bedroom very nice and very nice bed ,handy having 2 bathrooms even though there was only 2 of us ,due to hot weather always in shower.Outside garden very secure for our 2 dogs and nice area to sit .The garden is astro turf and did get hot during heat wave but hey we don't have many of those.Loved this cottage and would go back there no problem.We would also like to thank you for all the bits you left for us :)

    It was a home from home. Good to have bath sheets in the bathroom. The property was a little more remote than we anticipated and a shop to buy bread, milk etc was a lot further away than we’d hoped. A lovely thoughtful welcome pack was left for us including fresh flowers and a welcome card which was a lovely touch. Just to note one of the outdoor chairs is broken. We still were able to use it by putting the lightest of our party on it with a cushion

  • "Great facilities, lovely setting all ruined by the barking reactive two dogs who barked the entire time we were there!"

    That triggers the other neighbours dog and everyone you scrunch the gravel or open or close a door off it went and up to 8.30 pm! Leaving neighbours who have a barking dog to get away for peace and quiet didn’t really happen!! Our two well behaved laid back British bulldogs even started to bark back forcing us to close and limit the use of the previous enclosed garden!! Thankfully we were out and stayed out as much as we could. Would we stay again? Unlikely shame as its location was perfect and the welcome pack fantastic. Perhaps a word with the neighbours are in order?

  • "Lovely large property."

    Very clean and well equipped. Garden is enclosed and gets lovely morning sun, just right for the first cup of tea! Parking next to property. Very rural location. Saw lots of deer and hares when walking nearby. Good location to get to the north coast. There are other dogs around so quite a lot of barking. Our dog wasn't too bothered but a noise reactive dog may not settle. Bed pretty comfy, good hot water for showering. Sofas were comfy too. Take slippers as all floors are tile/ brick. Great welcome package on arrival too.

    Very peaceful most of time but,fighter jets fly about and that are really loud.My only concern was the heating in the lounge area didn't seem very good a bit chilly.

  • "Fantastic holiday cottage!"

    The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into what's needed. Really well equipped cottage in a lovely location. Plenty of nearby footpaths to walk the dogs straight from the cottage. Nice high fences in the back garden to keep the dogs contained. Lovely welcome pack when we arrived to get us started. Communication from Kerry was just perfect, a simple couple of text messages so you knew how to get hold of her if needed but otherwise we were left to it. Thanks again

    Absolutely spotless, Large spacious living accommodation. Fully equipped kitchen (largest dinner plates I have encountered), nothing missing! Utility room was a bonus Dog loved the fully enclosed garden area. Great location for visits to Norwick, the Broads, to many beaches to mention (but loved Wells & Hunstanton) Would 100% recommend

  • "The Old Dairy is absolutely outstanding, we loved every moment of our stay!"

    The property has been beautifully renovated, we loved features such as the beams, tiled floors and the stable door. There is an excellent, fully equipped kitchen and the whole property was immaculately clean. The owners were so thoughtful - putting up a lovely Christmas tree and leaving some food items for us to enjoy. As we were staying with our dogs, a real highlight for us was the fully enclosed garden. The property is in a very quiet, rural location with villages and towns a short drive away. Everything was perfect, thank you!

Brisley is a delightful village set in rural North Norfolk countryside, close to a number of market towns. The village of North Elmham is a couple of miles away and has a local shop, whilst Dereham and Fakenham offer a selection of independent stores, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The popular town of Holt is well known for its fine selection of quirky shops, plus the north Norfolk coast is just a half hour drive away so you can take your pick between the genteel villages of Wells and Blakeney or the more traditional resort towns of Sheringham and Cromer.
