  • "Gray lag is a large beautiful family home with everything you need for a lovely family holiday."

    Really clean and a great welcome pack. Everything you need to make meals during your holiday and all the beds are comfortable for a great nights sleep. Lots of board games, puzzles and books for a rainy day. Near to beach and all the towns facilities. A great property.

  • "Lovely house, very nice welcome pack when we arrived and everything we needed for our stay."

    Comfy beds, although they did creak a little but it wasnt a really big issue for us. Fabulous kitchen and a lovely big table for everyone to eat at both inside the house and just outside in the yard area. The garden is perfect for our dog, fully enclosed and there is space for a car on the front garden and easily able to park our second car infront on the road. The house is only five minutes walk from the beach and the town centre. Thoroughly recommend this for a family stay.

    Also, there was a lovely welcome hamper. The property was well kept & had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden, was perfect for relaxing & keeping our two dogs safe, whilst they explored. It is well situated to reach local amenities, as well as easy reach of local beaches. We would highly recommend this property.

  • "Where to start."

    .. We all loved this property immediately and joked several times to the owners that we wanted to move in! Great space, facilities and extras. The welcome pack was awesome. With 4 adults and 2 dogs there was not a time where we fell over each other. So much space and great rooms to be altogether as we had many a games night (with Alexa helping us with the music!). Sea views from ALL 4 bedrooms

  • "Greylag is a beautiful house a short walk from the sea front of Hunstanton."

    The house would suit larger groups as there’s plenty of options for congregating and relaxing in the lounge, dining room or garden room. The garden is fully secure, great for dogs. The street is peaceful and quiet. The owners provided a fabulous well stocked welcome hamper and personalised greeting card. These were very much appreciated. Information book with all useful info wi fi, eateries, places to go etc. The house was well equipped with everything we needed ( except a pen to write in visitor book!) The kitchen was lovely with modern appliances and large work space. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. My only niggle was the lack of towels. Only given one small hand towel and a slightly larger one that didn’t wrap around the body. Tip for ladies like me who want to turban hair and wrap yourself up after shower, take a bath sheet.

  • "Superb accommodation, tastefully refurbished; a real home from home."

    Our party of four, plus two Miniature Schnauzers, spent a relaxing five-night stay at Greylag and we were absolutely delighted with the house! There was an incredibly generous and thoughtful ‘welcome bundle’ of edibles, drinks, treats for the dogs and a handwritten card. The owners have obviously put their heart and soul into making Greylag a beautiful place to have a great holiday experience. The house is spotless; all furniture, fixtures and fittings are to a high standard - it was a pleasure to return to after a day exploring the coast. The garden was very well maintained, thoughtfully furnished, secure and enjoyed by all in our party. We would have no hesitation in booking Greylag again and heartily recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a fantastic holiday in a very special home; thank you to the owners for sharing it with us.

  • "This is a lovely Victorian property, a short walk from the town centre and the sea front."

    It was comfortable and clean and we would certainly re-book. We really enjoyed the garden and garden room and so did our dog. As for the welcome basket of goodies, thanks! (I would recommend a hand rail for the two steps up to the family bathroom and third bedroom for safety, replacement frying pans with flat bottoms, net curtains at the front of the house for privacy, and an extra tea towel. For anyone else who finds the front door lock tricky, we discovered that if you pull the door towards you it will unlock easily.)

  • "Greylags is a fabulous house."

    Perfect in every way. Spacious, spotless, incredibly well equipped, beautiful furnishings, very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. The enclosed sunny garden is a bonus. The location is excellent, with Old Hunstanton beach and Hunstanton town within easy walking distance. The hosts were very welcoming and left a very generous welcome pack, fresh flowers and a comprehensive folder with local information and useful appliances instructions. We can highly recommend and we would certainly like to stay at Greylags again. Thank you for making our birthday celebration weekend very special.

  • "The cottage is well equipped and maintained."

    The only major problem we encountered was the front door lock . We could not get in on our arrival and were helped by a neighbour. All adult members of our family had a problem with this door lock. Two small suggestions I would make is a chair in the front bedroom would be lovely and and we really missed a bedside table in that room. Otherwise a beautiful place to share a great family holiday. I would certainly recommend it to friends wanting to stay as a family group.

The award-winning coastal town of Hunstanton, locally known as Sunny Hunny, is located on the Western side of the East Norfolk Coastline, renowned for its beautiful sunsets over the sea. Hunstanton is a great family-friendly holiday destination. The seafront with promenade offers rock and candyfloss stalls, funfair rides, a sealife sanctuary, bowls, golfing, a leisure centre, pitch-and-putt, Esplanade gardens, theatre, clean sandy beaches, donkey rides and sea tours in an amphibious craft. On Sunday afternoons a band often plays in the bandstand on the green overlooking the beach, serenading sunbathers and day-trippers, while throughout the year additional events are held within the town. Walking along the beach towards Old Hunstanton you find the richly-coloured cliff faces with intriguing rock pools. The beach at Old Hunstanton is popular with sunbathers, and also with wind and kite surfers. Within a 20-mile radius there is a large number of places of interest including NT properties, market towns and flint villages, offering something for all family members.
