  • “Great house for a family get together- it was ideal for 2-72 year olds.”

The location was perfect as we could easily walk into Hunstanton and the recreation ground was only 2 minutes away so the youngsters could go and let off steam and the dog could have a run.

The property

A truly spectacular holiday home to base a seaside escape to Norfolk, The Glass House is a contemporary and stylish abode, perfectly suited to a celebratory escape with friends and family.

Sitting within the award-winning coastal town of Hunstanton, known locally as 'Sunny Hunny' for its breath-taking sunsets and scenery, there's no better base from which to explore this corner of East Anglia.

Park up on the private driveway, with plenty of room between here and the roadside for the whole group, before stepping into the hallway and setting down your belongings as you explore this marvel of a holiday home.

The open-plan living space is a true spectacle to be seen, with room for the whole group to gather around the granite top dining table and toast to a terrific holiday.

The contemporary-styled kitchen along with the utility room host everything you could need to prepare family-favourite meals, with plenty of preparation space for the chef of the group to make the most of the utensils and appliances at hand.

At the rear of the room rests three colourful sofas, where the little ones can snuggle down each evening and while away the hours with the use of the gaming facilities, whilst the rest of the group make the most of the refreshing coastal breeze out in the enclosed garden.

For a family film night, make your way into the snug, with an impressive corner sofa offering room for everyone to unwind for a relaxing night in.

Also on the ground floor sits one of five beautifully-presented bedrooms; a king size benefiting from the nearby cloakroom, perfect for those with limited mobility, while up on the first floor you can find a family room with both a king size bed and a travel cot, two king-size both boasting their own en-suite shower rooms and a final twin, each room boasting their own crisp, white linens and an abundance of storage space for all your beachwear and more.

Everything you could need for an enjoyable self-catered stay is just a stone's throw away in Hunstanton, with its seafront presenting a picture-perfect promenade hosting sweet stalls, funfair rides, a sealife sanctuary, pitch-and-putt and so much more, it provides a traditional seaside holiday, with plenty of fun-filled activity for all ages.

Enjoy the wondrous sound of the band playing on the bandstand most Sundays as you head down to the beach for a day of sandcastle building and sea splashing, or venture Scolt Head Island with its plethora of nature, separated from the mainland by tidal salt marshes, it's well-worth seeing.

Spend a day in Heacham with its golfing opportunities, beautiful lavender fields and another fabulous beach, providing something for every taste, or make your way to the medieval port of King's Lynn with its historic buildings and marvellous architecture, selection of museums such as True's Yard Fisherfolk Museum and the Lynn Museum, and even more eateries to take your pick from to celebrate that special occasion.

Choose The Glass House as your next holiday home from which to make precious memories with your loved ones in Norfolk.

The award-winning coastal town of Hunstanton, locally known as Sunny Hunny, is located on the Western side of the East Norfolk Coastline, renowned for its beautiful sunsets over the sea. Hunstanton is a great family-friendly holiday destination. The seafront with promenade offers rock and candyfloss stalls, funfair rides, a sealife sanctuary, bowls, golfing, a leisure centre, pitch-and-putt, Esplanade gardens, theatre, clean sandy beaches, donkey rides and sea tours in an amphibious craft. On Sunday afternoons a band often plays in the bandstand on the green overlooking the beach, serenading sunbathers and day-trippers, while throughout the year additional events are held within the town. Walking along the beach towards Old Hunstanton you find the richly-coloured cliff faces with intriguing rock pools. The beach at Old Hunstanton is popular with sunbathers, and also with wind and kite surfers.
