Robin’s Nest provided everything we needed.

Exceptional facilities, very clean and comfortable and well decorated. Peacefully quiet with country view from the patio where we enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife. Centrally located for National trust properties and the coast. David and Carol were helpful and welcoming hosts and on hand if needed. Overall we had a lovely week.

WOW Robins Nest is absolutely STUNNING nothing here can be faulted at all.

The photos do not show just how big and spacious it is inside and the owners have thought of everything. The property is beyond spotless. Great easy spacious car parking right outside the cottage, a lovely big walk in powerful shower plus a lovely bath with hand held shower over it, theres a shaver charger in the bathroom mirror, a very well equipped kitchen with a washer (outdoor clothes rotary airer) microwave, fridge with ice cube freezer compartment at the top, plus many other items too many to mention, the open plan lounge/diner/kitchen is fabulous and also overlooks the meadow, the bedroom is very spacious with a comfy big bed and plenty of storage for clothes etc with a full length mirror on the inside of the wardrobe door, there is a hair dryer & extension lead if needed.The patio has a lovely bistro set looking out all over the meadow which belongs to the owners. We sat out on the patio every morning for our breakfast and also for our evening meals as our weather was beautiful. We saw deer, buzzards, red kites, woodpeckers and many many more birds. It is soooooo peaceful we did not want to leave there. The owners Carol & David are two of the loveliest people you could wish to meet, they do not intrude on your privacy at all if you like to be left alone but we really enjoyed our chats with them and they gave us some great tips & advice about the places we wanted to visit. They left us a fabulous welcome basket and a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge. What an absolute GEM of a place we will definitely be returning here in the future. Lovely spacious property the photos don’t do it justice.

The owners David and Carol are lovely folk who have thought of everything and the welcome pack was very generous. The outside patio is great, you can sit and watch the birds we even saw a lesser spotted woodpecker. We watched the sun set with a glass of wine, most relaxing with a lovely view over the meadow. We hope to return and would certainly recommend it.

Certainly the nicest holiday cottage we've stayed in.

Good sized rooms, well laid out and with everything provided that we could wish for. Also a nice quiet rural setting and friendly welcoming hosts.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful relaxing setting.

This was our second stay and we look forward to booking our next. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The patio area is beautifully kept with lovely views of various wildlife.

David and Carol have built, maintained and beautifully presented the accommodation.

The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped, the bathroom is lavishly sized with all we needed. Their thoughtful touches from the magnificent welcome pack, homely touches to refilling the bird feeders so we didn’t miss a moment of wildlife on them! This couple are truly five star hosts.

We spent a wonderful week at Robins Nest in June.

Have to say that everything was first class, possibly best accommodation we have experienced . Spent most evenings being entertained by the local wildlife, including woodpeckers, pheasants, rabbits, hares and muntjac. All in all excellent, cannot recommend highly enough.

Cottage is perfect for visiting North Norfolk's National Trust properties and nature reserves. Robin's Nest is well equipped and spotlessly clean and we had a fantastic week and would definitely recommend. David was most helpful when we had an issue with our car, giving us a jump start so we could get somewhere to get it sorted.

We spent a wonderful week in what can only be described as an immaculate property in a very peaceful setting.

Wonderful cottage in quiet location.

Very clean, well equipped and ideally located for access to the best of North Norfolk for bird watching, beaches and stately homes. The owners were very welcoming and there was a lovely welcome pack in the cottage. The best cottage we have ever found in Norfolk - we’ve already booked again for next year!

Ideal for a quiet retreat. Lovely new modern decor, en suite bath and shower. Comfortable sofa. Romantic Dining for two. Woodland walks in Bistley and around the properties meadow. Close to Wells on sea seaside.

We've stayed here before and loved it so thought we'd come again, all be it three years later. Everything was just as perfect as before. It's in a good central location for visiting lots of places and countryside walks. Very comfortable, cosy and warm and tastfully furnished. Just to thank the lovely owners for the wonderful time that we had in their house and home! We, with my wife Siyana, have been staying to many many places/ accomodations around the whole Europe and USA, but we have ranked the Robin's Nest house as the best overall experience that we have ever had! An excellent return to Robin's Nest.

The accommodation is everything that we need, extremely clean and very well finished. All mod cons are present and there is plenty of parking space. Outlooks are lovely - especially through the dining area window to the paddock. Robin's Nest is quickly brought up to toastie level on a cold day. The shower is excellent and the bed comfortable. The house is very well situated with the exceptional Brisley Bell a fifteen minute walk (take a good torch and some footwear that you don't mind getting muddy). Norwich, Wells and Sheringham are all a reasonable drive away and well worth a visit. The Two Magpies cafe at Wells serves excellent everything. The house is very peaceful and once again we were very pleased with our stay. We would certainly recommend Robin's Nest, dinner at The Brisley Bell and indeed this lovely part of Norfolk

Very quiet spot but handy for the coast and inland venues.

Cottage is very clean, comfortable sofa and bed. Lovely arrival package in the kitchen. Friendly hosts. Our second visit and will book again for next year. Ideal spot for a quiet getaway.

The cottage was perfect.

Everything was exactly as seen in the listing. Spotlessly and so comfortable. We really enjoyed watching the birds on the feeders. It’s not every day we see partridge and pheasant! The welcome pack was a lovely touch, and very generous too. Carol and David were so kind when we had a bit of difficulty with our car. We will definitely return.

Very welcomed by the host who also added gifts for us too. Excellently equipped and immaculately maintained. This is easily the best accomodation we have stayed in, in Norfolk. Highly recommended!

Robins Nest is our favourite holiday accommodation, spotlessly clean and so comfortable.

The owners keep this property immaculate and are on site to help if needed. The welcome goodies are very generous and welcomed after a long journey. We have stayed here three times and we always look forward to going back. This is how a holiday cottage should be presented.

Super place to stay only wish we could have stayed longer (we are back again in 6 weeks time) David Carole and their daughter are lovely friendly people there if needed, The deer,squirrels,woodpecker and the muntjack visited us every day along with many more birds.

A beautifully decorated clean cottage.

We enjoyed a very relaxing break with views of the wildlife through the patio doors. We were left a thoughtful and appreciated welcome pack. We will definitely be returning for another peaceful break.

This is a Gem of a cottage.

Beautifully kept and well equipped. Owners very friendly. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Stayed in a number of cottages but this is one of the best.

A perfect place to stay and relax.

The owners keep it immaculate and have thought of everything you may need. We loved the view over the owners field looking at the various wildlife and birds on the bird feeder. The only fault was we couldn't stay for longer. Thank you we had a great time.

We had an excellent few days exploring Norfolk, eating well and relaxing in Robin's Nest. The wonderful Brisley Bell was fifteen minutes walk away and seeing the seals at Horsey Bay was a highlight. We also enjoyed visiting Lord Nelson's birthplace, Norwich, Wells and Blakeney. Cromer not so much.....we should have tried Sheringham. Overall a great break and we would have no problem recommending Robin's Nest. We plan to visit our friends down there again and there would only be one place for us to stay. Watching the birds from the living room was a treat too Thanks.

Robin’s Nest is an excellent, quiet and very well equipped cottage.

It is very spacious, spotlessly clean with a very generous welcome pack from the host. Ideally situated for easy access to the North Norfolk coast and Norwich, it has everything you could want for a pleasant stay. Nice views, good heating ample parking and a quality feel all round. We can very much recommend Robin’s Nest as a great all year round cottage.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here, the cottage was amazing situated on the edge of a grass paddock.

We were greeted by the owners which we found a nice personal touch. There was everything in cottage that you need even (snuggle blanket)

We’d read all the great reviews before staying but they don’t really do Robins Nest justice, it’s definitely a 5 star place to stay.

If you’re a National Trust member there’s lots to do within about 30 mins drive. We visited Felbrigg, Blickling, Sheringham park and the coast near Blakeney. Unfortunately we had one day of miserable rain so didn’t go out but we loved staying in as Robins Nest is so comfortable and has everything you need to relax, read a book, brew up and make food. Watching the wildlife through the window from the comfort of the sofa was a great distraction from the rain. There’s lots more we’d like to see and do in the area so we’ll definitely be back. Thanks

Our second visit to Robins Nest and was certainly not dissapointed.

It is the best property we have stayed in for comfort ,cleanliness and peace and quiet.Carol and David are a lovely friendly couple and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.We have already booked for next year, see you in September 25.

This is the best cottage we have stayed in.

The attention to detail in the way the cottage is designed is impressive. The welcome pack is also very extensive. The cottage was spotless in all respects and the outside patio area allowed us to sit and enjoy the wildlife on the bird feeder which was regularly replenished. The owners obviously have a very personal investment in the cottage. All in all a great stay.

The property was fully modern and well furnished with all mod cons.

The location of the property was peaceful with local wildlife and good views. I was able to relax, when I got back from my sight seeing, without having to worry about unexpected problems.

Absolutely fantastic property in a really lovely location.

Very easily found as near a main road and beautifully kept gardens. The property itself is lovingly maintained with great gardens and a seat for sitting out and just watching the wildlife also a lovely little patio where you can relax.

A little tricky to find but the what-three-words on the booking was super helpful (get the app!

). Robins Nest is the most perfect home away from home, so comfortable with such a beautiful outlook across the fields. It looks brand new and is spotless. They have thought of EVERYTHING, leaving a welcome pack of butter, eggs, bread, cake and a bottle of wine too. All the kitchen equipment is top of the range, there is everything you could possibly need - it was a little tricky finding the plates but we got there in the end! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone, I would happily move in and live there full time myself!!

We had a fantastic two week stay here in November 2023.

The property has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. It is immaculately clean and well stocked with an amazing welcome pack that was super appreciated. The owners are lovely and friendly. It's truly quiet and relaxing. We slept incredibly well throughout the holiday. The wildlife is amazing and we lost count of the different birds we saw. From here, for us it's both a short drive to see family and a few are further afield so the location was fabulous for exploring Norfolk. It's also well lit if you're returning later at night. The parking is easy to get in and out of with plenty of space. We were delighted with the cottage and as a few others have pointed out it really does put others in the area to shame and we've stayed in a few (most more expensive too) over the years of visiting our family. Sykes really need to use this quality as a benchmark across all of the properties they offer. We are hoping to return on our next trip home.

Robins Nest is a fantastic property.

Extremely clean, comfortable and very well maintained. The quality of furnishings and fittings is very high. It was lovely having two weeks at the property really enjoying the peace and quiet. The owners should be so proud of their holiday cottage, we loved it there and would love to go back. This is how to provide a great holiday property!

A beautiful holiday cottage, really well equipped and spotlessly clean.

We stayed for a week, wanting to take in some of the rural Norfolk life and absolutely loved it. There's plenty of wildlife to see just from Robin's Nest with deer, hares and all sorts of birds to see every day. Also the local pub (The Bell) is a fantastic village pub. Location - wise you can get to all points of Norfolk easily from by car so it's very well placed for day trips. David and Carol were great hosts, available if you should need anything. We'd definitely recommend this place and happily stay here again.

Although we did not meet the hosts at first, the place just gave off a nice vibe that the owners were kind. The hot cross buns was a special little treat to go with easter, it was like personal touch with the food essentials that was also there for our stay! The lodge was cosy and quiet with a lovely little garden and the shower was powerful! Not forgetting how good the oven was! Plenty of wildlife to watch and the place itself was thought out very well for your needs! We are already looking at booking another visit!

A great place to relax and unwind.

It is a very high standard with everything you need. It’s central to many familiar spots in Norfolk, as long as you don’t mind travelling a little. We loved it.

What can I say, Robins Nest is Perfect in every way.

It’s location is very peaceful, On arrival we opened the door and was so impressed with the level of decor..The owners had left us a few essentials, along with a bottle of wine and cake. Everything for the perfect stay had been thought of, and the cottage was so well equipped with A huge selection of maps and guides for local attractions, games and books. Plenty of room, made the stay excellent, and the level of comfort was superb. A very well equipped kitchen made cooking a pleasure and it really felt like home from home…. I’m 100% certain we will visit again in the future and highly recommend Robins Nest for anyone looking for a peaceful break within easy reach of places to visit.

What can we say great cottage every thing you needed especially the settee and bed so comfortable.

It is so relaxing and quiet with wiildlife to watch.But it is also close to drive to Norwich Cromer and the rest of the coast. Definitely recommend also going back ourselves .

Robins Nest was a fabulous place to stay.

It was especially nice to return each evening to such a comfortable and cosy cottage after being out in the cold, frosty weather. Lovely, peaceful location, well placed to visit the North Norfolk coast, Kings Lynn to the west, Norwich to the east and many places in between. Facilities at the cottage were excellent, including a range of brand new guides, books and maps which the owners had clearly taken great care to select. The cottage was equipped to a very high standard with many thoughtful extras. We even had a Christmas tree. It was lovely to meet the owners who were very friendly and on hand should we need anything. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Just returned from a week stay here and I cannot recommend this cottage enough Absolutely amazing accommodation, definitely a 5 star property A little bit out of the way but once you get used to the narrow roads it’s perfectly fine It’s not far from a main route that would take you into Kingslyn, Norwich or the coast Had a bit rain whilst we were there but because the cottage is so very well equipped and lovely and cosy it was no hardship staying in All in all a wonderful holiday and can’t wait to rebook x
