The quality of everything in the cottage is of the very best with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The welcome pack superbe, something we hadnt experienced before and it was very much appreciated. The view from the lounge to the paddock is a lovely sight to wake up to with the variety of birds and animals including three Muntjacs. The cottage is a credit to Carol and David who gave us a warm welcome and explained everything we needed to know,a lovely couple.Other owners should take note of how a holiday cottage should be run.An absolute delight to stay here and we are now in the process of booking again for 2024 and this has never happened before in our Sykes history.Well done.

  • "A beautiful holiday cottage, really well equipped and spotlessly clean."

We stayed for a week, wanting to take in some of the rural Norfolk life and absolutely loved it. There's plenty of wildlife to see just from Robin's Nest with deer, hares and all sorts of birds to see every day. Also the local pub (The Bell) is a fantastic village pub. Location - wise you can get to all points of Norfolk easily from by car so it's very well placed for day trips. David and Carol were great hosts, available if you should need anything. We'd definitely recommend this place and happily stay here again.

Although we did not meet the hosts at first, the place just gave off a nice vibe that the owners were kind. The hot cross buns was a special little treat to go with easter, it was like personal touch with the food essentials that was also there for our stay! The lodge was cosy and quiet with a lovely little garden and the shower was powerful! Not forgetting how good the oven was! Plenty of wildlife to watch and the place itself was thought out very well for your needs! We are already looking at booking another visit!

It’s location is very peaceful, On arrival we opened the door and was so impressed with the level of decor..The owners had left us a few essentials, along with a bottle of wine and cake. Everything for the perfect stay had been thought of, and the cottage was so well equipped with A huge selection of maps and guides for local attractions, games and books. Plenty of room, made the stay excellent, and the level of comfort was superb. A very well equipped kitchen made cooking a pleasure and it really felt like home from home…. • "Robins Nest was a fabulous place to stay."

It was especially nice to return each evening to such a comfortable and cosy cottage after being out in the cold, frosty weather. Lovely, peaceful location, well placed to visit the North Norfolk coast, Kings Lynn to the west, Norwich to the east and many places in between. Facilities at the cottage were excellent, including a range of brand new guides, books and maps which the owners had clearly taken great care to select. The cottage was equipped to a very high standard with many thoughtful extras. We even had a Christmas tree. It was lovely to meet the owners who were very friendly and on hand should we need anything. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Just returned from a week stay here and I cannot recommend this cottage enough Absolutely amazing accommodation, definitely a 5 star property A little bit out of the way but once you get used to the narrow roads it’s perfectly fine It’s not far from a main route that would take you into Kingslyn, Norwich or the coast Had a bit rain whilst we were there but because the cottage is so very well equipped and lovely and cosy it was no hardship staying in All in all a wonderful holiday and can’t wait to rebook x
