"A quite exceptional cottage."
Large and very well furnished and equipped, it stands in large grounds with two lakes, which are the home to two families of geese. Thoroughly recommended.

"The house and grounds were lovely we enjoyed the lake and the peace and quiet , no open fire as stated but no need as the weather was lovely, unfortunately we had a problem with key at the end of our holiday as we put it through the letterbox and the owner had no spare key , there was no instructions left as too were to leave they key , the owner was obviously angry and upset and let us know , we did apologise and unfortunately this did put a damper on our weeks holiday as the owner were very welcoming and friendly when we were showed around , we have used Skye’s holidays numerous times and have never had any previous problems ."

"Although the photos on the website initially grabbed our interest, my wife and I could not help repeating wow as Jenny met us on arrival and showed us round this fantastic cottage and it’s grounds."
The facilities are first class and very comfortable. A great base for visits to the coast and local towns. We definitely plan to return in the future.

"What a fabulous property!"
Loads of space and facilities in absolutely beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend and would also rebook - it would be lovely to see the grounds in the Summer months.

"We have just had a fabulous stay at Lyons Green - three generations plus extended family (ages 24 to 80 plus a cockerpoo!"
).The house itself was perfect for our needs. Lots of space to get together as well as space to have some quiet time between the dining room, spacious lounge and sun room. Then there are the stunnomg grounds to wander around which are shared with the adjacent cottage. Find a seat by the lake and see all the beautiful wildlife, and you also have a rear private garden too.
We arrived to find a lovely welcome pack and the owner, Jenny, who is absolutely lovely, checked in on us to ensure we were ok and had everything we nedded.
Lyons Green is ideally situated to explore the beautiful north Norfolk coast as well as Norwich, Thetford Forest, the Broads, and the lovely town of Holt with its independent shops and lots of cafes etc.
We have made some wonderful memories during our stay and the pictures really do not do the property justice. A fantastic time was had by all and we can't wait to go back!

"We had a wonderful week at Lyons Green."
There were 4 adults and 3 children and Ben the dog. The house was very comfortable with plenty of room for us to spread out. The surroundings are very rural and beautiful. The two ponds were lovely with lots of wildlife. The carp are huge. It is a great spot for exploring Norfolk and we managed to get to Cromer, Norwich, Melsop Farm, Sandringham, Swaffham and Kings Lynn. The weather was very kind to us and Jenny was on hand and very helpful. Lots of things in the house for the children to do. We had a nice meal at The Canary and Linnet which is in the village although too far to walk but five minutes by car. I would highly recommend Lyons Green. Anne Marley and family.

"We all enjoyed our stay at Lyons Green."
Everything about it was good. Just one point to mention is that it would have been nice if there was a complete board game to play! Just a small point on an otherwise enjoyable holiday. We took our dog and she was amazingly good. She was afraid of the fish in the lake and didn’t want to go near it

"Beautiful house, in a lovely, peaceful setting."
Lots of wildlife to be seen. We saw deer, owls, swallows and a heron. Pond teeming with huge fish. We found it was a bit of a trek to everywhere but Norwich was nice, about 40 mins and the park and ride convenient. Lots to see, including the castle museum, cathedral and shops. Our son hired a canoe from the Pub and Paddle for an afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. Spent a day on a hire boat on the broads, another 40mins drive, but worth it when we got there. Several nice pubs along the rivers, but found that mooring places are a bit limited. All in all a great holiday house.
