“The property was fairly priced, was clean, however not to the standard of the last Northumberland property we booked with you.”

We have always found with property descriptions, you have to read between the lines. In this case it was on a very busy noisy road and would of not been safe, if we had taken our grand children. We have always found with property descriptions, you have to read between the lines. In this case it was on a very busy noisy road and would of not been safe, if we had taken our grand children. You could understand from the description it was set in its own grounds it was not, the only area around the property was the parking space by the property . We felt the owners could of made the outside more inviting, with some simple flower tubs by the entrance and cut the grass verges on the main road entrance to make it look more smartly kept. An issue I have tried to raise with your booking staff is our main car is a Hybrid and needs charging each day after use nobody seems to be catering for this new trend. Come on Sykes, be at the fore front and get your owners to step up and help the environment. In the case of this property, I offered to pay for any electricity I used and the owners refused to let me charge my car. Finally, I am not sure the new owners of Sykes care about these comments in comparison to the service we had in the past as along term user of their cottages. Regards Ben Walters 07801063342
