  • "12-19th april 2024 The barn is a fantastic break in the country close to all the seaside towns, wroxham and walks with your dogs for miles."

The barn is huge beautiful garden comfy beds kitchen of dreams and a table to have dinner on where u can sit and talk for hours a luxury we dont get at home. Thank you to caroline for being a fantastic host and answering any questions we had promptly. We most defineltly will be staying again next year. The only downside is the bins and when they get emptied as there isnt alot of space to put rubbish. We all enjoyed the week even the 2 dogs loved it . So thank you for letting us stay we shall be back soon .

Thank you for taking the time to review your time at the Barn. We were thrilled you enjoyed your stay and intend to return. I apologise that the bins on this occasion had not been emptied. The council recently change their collection day and since then the service has been intermittent. We have raised this with the local authority and we hope that a normal service will shortly resume. Thank you for choosing the Barn for your stay in Norfolk and I hope you have a great summer ahead. Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful stay at the barn - two families of 4 people, with children aged 3-5 years old."

The house was perfect for them and they enjoyed playing out on the huge upstairs landing (we brought a car mat and puzzles with us) and the garden was a great size for them to run around. The house was extremely well stocked with all the key essentials and necessary kitchen items/tools. Very peaceful location but within easy reach of places for day trips. Would definitely consider returning if we visit that part of Norfolk again.

Thank you very much for your lovely review. We are delighted you enjoyed your holiday at the Barn and all the local area has to offer. You were lovely guests and we do hope you return again soon. Property Owner

  • "As a group of 7 adults, a child, baby & a dog, we all had the pleasure of staying at the Barn recently for 3 nights for a special occasion."

The view of the Barn when we arrived was very impressive . It is tucked away from main roads, so we felt that we were properly away (but there is wifi) There was plenty of parking outside the front of the property, that is secure with tall gates, which was good as we didn't want the child or dog to escape! Inside, the bedrooms had lots of space, with 2 of them having en-suites. They were all very clean, & beds were extremely comfortable. The lounge was large & also had a separate 'snug' that had a dart board & tv etc. The kitchen had all the utensils that we would need, the oven was large, plenty of room to store food in the fridge & freezer as well as having a large separate dining area & laundry room. There was also a swimming pool on the site, which had to be booked & paid for online. Outside, there was plenty of space for the dog to run about & had extras such as a rotary clothes line, firepit, bbq & a goal post, which was very well used!! We all agree that this was a lovely place to stay & will definitely return when we have our next special celebration.

Thank you for taking the time to give us such a lovely detailed review. We are so delighted you celebrated your very special time with us. We would be so chuffed to welcome you back again!! Property Owner

  • "The property is absolutely beautiful, facilities great and cleanliness perfect and its garden is also fab."

It was not clear that the pool hire is for SOLE use and therefore for 1 hour it is a minimum of £25. It also has to be booked in advance. On top of the luxury price for the house this could amount to a substantial spend. For that I would expect very good facilities but the changing rooms are absolutely freezing and worst of all where the tiling meets the wall there is black mould growing for that reason and the cost we only used it once. This is not a swimming pool you expect with a luxury property.

I am so delighted you found the Barn to be beautiful, so well equipped and enjoyed its lovely garden. I am sorry you did not enjoy using the neighbouring pool. The pool is open to our guests for private hire but is not owned or managed by us as stated in our property description . We have used it numerous times ourselves and found it to be great. The reviews of the pool are always very flattering too. I do hope you had a lovely stay and enjoyed your time in Norfolk and return to explore the beautiful sites it has to offer again soon. • "The Barn was an exceptional property which provided the perfect venue for a family gathering."

The owners were incredibly helpful and ensured that any minor issues were sorted out immediately. Each room was really comfortable and tastefully furnished. The garden and patio areas were also very private with ample seating. Secure fencing was in place around the garden which was really helpful as the two dogs could run around freely. Although there were no walks immediately adjacent to the property, lovely beaches and country walks were a short drive away. The swimming pool next door was also a great asset. On the whole a really enjoyable week.

Thank you very much for your great review Jennifer. We are delighted you and your family had such a great stay at the Barn. We do hope we have an opportunity to welcome you back again . Property Owner

Step inside The Barn, your beautiful new home-from-home, and make yourself comfortable in a variety of elegant living spaces.

A fully-equipped kitchen diner housing an impressive range cooker, American-style fridge/freezer, and a breakfast bar serves as a great spot to prepare and tuck into meals with your loved ones.

To relax, choose from a plush sitting room that offers two sofas, a crackling woodburning stove, and a sleek, wall-mounted Smart TV, or a snug room where the younger members of the party can get lost in a film or while the night away playing board games.

There is also table tennis which can be assembled indoors or outside, providing hours of competitive family fun.

On warmer days, take your festivities out into the rear garden, where you can delight in some alfresco dining on the patio with the help of the barbecue whilst the rest of the group gets competitive over a game of football!

When sleep calls, refresh with a dip in the bath or a soak under the shower before you finally retire for a well-earned rest in one of the four decadent bedrooms, including two king-sizes with their very own en-suite bath and shower rooms.

If you can tear yourself from your amazing new dwelling, head out to explore what your local surroundings have to offer.

A handful of local pubs can be found just a short drive from the property, such as The Crown Inn in Smallburgh, and the Cross Keys in Dilham.

Situated three miles north of Wroxham, considered the heart of the Norfolk Broads, the Broadland village of Tunstead, home to the popular Horse & Groom pub, is a wonderful place from which to explore the Norfolk Broads National Park, a picturesque 125 miles of man-made, lock-free waterways and stunning scenery and wildlife.

There are many picturesque villages to visit and plenty of waterside pubs and restaurants to stop off at too.

For beach lovers the seaside village of Happisburgh with its iconic candy-striped lighthouse is just a brief drive away.

This is one of many beautiful local sandy beaches which are dog friendly too.

Several attractions are located a brief car drive from your new lodgings, such as Wroxham Miniature Worlds, Wroxham Barns, Museum of the Broads, and the BeWILDerwood Norfolk theme park, whilst further afield, the noteworthy locations of Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth, and the National Trust site of Blickling Hall are all worth a visit.
