  • "Friendly and welcoming owner, very clean comfortable and well equipped accommodation."

Useful local information provided. There are a number of restaurants nearby and would recommend the Nepalese restaurant called The Bank where we enjoyed very good food and service.

  • "The Studio is in an ideal location in the town and a short stroll to the seafront it is also very quiet."

Parking is not an issue - we stayed at peak time but were able to easily park for up to 45 minutes on the road outside while we unloaded. Then we parked for £34 for the week in the car park behind which is a 2 minute walk away. The Studio is very clean with a comfy double bed and a decent sized bathroom. Although the wardrobe is a little small there are plenty of draws for storage. We didn’t eat or cook in the room but there are cooking facilities and a microwave, and loads of utensils. I think the owner has thought of absolutely everything that you could possibly need from coffee and tea, cooking oils and salt to a bathroom full of toiletries, loo rolls and cleaning products. If you feel chilly there is an electric burner style fire which will have you warm in minutes. I would definitely recommend a stay at The Studio if you want a cosy home from home in the centre of town.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments, as I'm 'new' to Sykes, it's very helpful. Thank you also for leaving everything in such good order. Property Owner

The property

The Studio is at first floor level, accessed via a wide staircase with a good banister, in Sheringham town centre.

Due to the stairs it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. The Studio offers a comfortable double bed, cosy sofa and TV.

The well equipped kitchenette has a dining table and two chairs, there is a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, a twin electric hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, everything you need to prepare simple delicious meals.

Restaurants and pubs are all within a very short walk with the beach a 'stone's throw' away. While the owners are pet lovers, the Studio is unsuitable for pets as it's at 1st floor level with no outdoor amenity.

About the location

Cromer 4.8 miles.

Sheringham was originally a small fishing village on the North Norfolk coast, but with the arrival of the railways in 1887 it prospered and grew into a popular holiday town. Sheringham has been awarded ten consecutive European Blue Flags for cleanliness for its beach, along with awards from Britain in Bloom, Anglia in Bloom, and Best Coastal Resort. Enjoy walking along the East or West promenades, offering sea views with blue skies and red sunsets, a beach with a silver-pebbled shoreline leading to golden sands with rock pools and streams next to ochre cliffs, local fishing boats and a RLNI lifeboat station with museum. This attractive traditional seaside town also has the 'Little Theatre', open all year round, seaside gardens with seating, a model boating lake, independent shops, tea rooms, steam railway, outstanding links golf course, amusement arcades, and fish & chip shops selling locally-caught shell fish.
