  • "A lovely comfortable property with good outside space and allocated parking."

    Parking would be quite tight for a large car. Access could be difficult for the less mobile as property is accessed via a narrow passageway and a flight of wooden steps. It’s in a good location, very close to the harbour, beach and Staithe street. Very well equipped inside and if there was more than one person the extra toilet would be very useful. Comfortable bed and good quality bed linen. I do feel the main bedroom would benefit from the addition of curtains or a roman blind as the Venetian blind didn’t keep out enough light for me. However I had a great stay and will definitely be back

  • "The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and clean."

    The water pressure is very low. It's difficult to set the temperature for the shower. One of the grab handles on the side of the bath is not actually attached, which could be dangerous. The front door is very difficult to open and close. The approach through the alley way and up the stairs is not very easy, although this is mentioned in the literature. The approach is also not very clean. A lot of leaf matter fell on our car while it was parked there and it took a lot of cleaning to get rid of it all. So, the outside lets the cottage down.

    We are sorry your stay didn’t meet your expectations. The door was replaced, along with all the windows, in August and the weather had caused the frame to swell. This has now been rectified. The handle on the bath is being attended to - thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, there is very little we can do about leaf litter in autumn. Our gardener clears the passageway when he visits every fortnight but the trees, which belong to the property downstairs, continue to shed their leaves at this time of year. We are pleased you found the property itself comfortable and clean. Property Owner

  • "Crab Corner is a lovely apartment however on stripping the beds to come home the mattress protector on the double bed had a big stain on it which was not a nice thing to see as i had been laid on that all week."

    When i stripped the bottom sheet off the single bed there was a big mark on the bottom of the sheet which you don't see as it was tucked under the mattress at the bottom of the bed. It also states in the book that there are torches in each bedroom but we couldn't find any which were essential for letting the dog out at night. But after saying all that it really is a lovely place.

  • "Inside Crab Cottage is lovely!"

    It is very clean and comfortable. There is everything in the property that would be required for a very pleasant stay. However outside - the approach and stairs require some TLC and currently, the door lock takes a minimum of 10 minutes manipulation to allow entrance to the property. However, the owner has assured us that the door is to be replaced in two weeks time. This will make the property perfect for a lovely stay. Conveniently placed for all the Wells-next-the-Sea attractions.

  • "The apartment is in a great position to stroll to the harbour."

    Well equipped and clean. The parking bay is essential in Wells and takes away all the cost and stress. The garden is perfect for relaxing after a day exploring a beautiful area. We would highly recommend as a great holiday base.

  • "Such a handy property for easy access to Wells town centre and walks to beach."

    Slightly noisy but that is to be expected for the convenience of being so close to town ( I think I saw a planning application for changing windows so this should help block out noise). Super comfortable inside, great facilities in kitchen. Definitely recommend.

  • "Had a great stay."

    The only negative points are you need to make it clear that it is not suitable for disabled or elderly people due to the steps leading to and from the property being to steep. Also need additional lighting in the passageway leading to the property. There were lights there but not working need to check regularly to make sure they are working. Hand rail required up to the bathroom and cloakroom.

As for the lighting, we have tried using solar lighting but, as this is our first year of having the property, it is difficult to tell how effective they are.   • "A well presented apartment situated close to beach and main local attractions."

    The apartment was home from home with the owners thinking of every detail. Comfortable beds (very important after lots of walking with the dog), wel set out kitchen with all the amenities and nice comfy sofa and chair to chill.

  • "Great apartment and ideal location for walking into town and exploring North Norfolk."

    One allocated parking spaces which was ideal for me and very close to the apartment. Apartment is very spacious, well furnished and light throughout to a very high standard. Beds were very comfy and had good night sleep, only negative point was that the twin bedroom is tight for space, with all the furniture however this is very minor point. Overall great apartment, great facilities within, nice garden area and fabulous location, would highly recommend !!
