  • "We loved the house overall."

Amazing location, spacious and nicely decorated. It's looking a little tired in places and could do with a bit of maintenance. We would stay again.

  • "A fantastic property beautifully located in the heart of the High Street."

This is our second stay and we will be back. Love it!

  • "Lovely property in a fantastic location."

Living room and kitchen both great for families. However i would recommend a lock on the living room window for obvious safety reasons and a better mattress in the lower level bedroom. This would make the property a super 5 stars

  • "Lovely property with fantastic location."

Some decoration possibly needed but certainly felt other reviews had been unfair. Hob took us a while to work out (you need to press the silver dial to the ring you want then turn up or down - we tried everything but!) Beds all comfortable, showers worked fine, well kitted out kitchen. Beach 5-10 minute walk away regardless if you want yacht club end or dog end, couldn't be closer to shops and bars. Some beautiful restaurants to eat at but would recommend booking in advance especially if a larger group (Manano, Fresh, Zinc, St. Tudwalls Inn in particular)

  • "No wifi available in the property - that works."

Leak under the kitchen sink, uncomfortable bed in first floor bedroom, struggled to get the hob working due to dirty connection on surface. Very noisy location - noise from the street outside. Lots of steep stairs - not suitable for anyone with reduced mobility.

  • "Toaster broke fused whole house."

Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. You were informed sat morning and we were told to go back to the house and put key in the key safe. Someone then contacted at 5pm to confirm issues and discuss with owner. Informed to buy own toaster to get reimbursed which was not convenient. We were given next doors Wi-Fi password which only worked in one room of the house. Bed in bedroom on first floor is very uncomfortable! Apartment is generally tired and shabby. Looks much nicer on the pictures than in real life. Downstairs guests also kept us up until 4:15am one night with loud music. Disappointing experience all round

  • "Great location with great facilities however it was very noisy due to workmen on the house next door."

They began work at 7am, I did speak with them but it did not stop.Bed in ground floor room really uncomfortable, a new mattress would be good. Not enough wine glasses.Skirting board under sink kept coming off. The apartment underneath have a dog which the smell as you enter the front door is awful.

  • "We had the most wonderful holiday and the flat was brilliant for us."

The only 2 negative aspects were - the mattress in the 1st floor double room was very old, very saggy, and extremely uncomfortable. I didn’t sleep well at all and for the standard of the property I feel it’s in desperate need of an upgrade! The 2nd point is the lounge sofas - again not very comfortable and also very grubby (not sure why cream was chosen as a colour scheme as it shows up ALL the dirt!) Other than this, we had a brilliant stay - thank you so much!

Settled in the heart of Abersoch is this fabulous, duplex apartment, Preswylfa.

Set over the first and second floor of a townhouse, Preswylfa enjoys elevated views over Abersoch’s High Street and Abedrsoch Main Beach, and is perfect for a family of eight.

After parking in the handy off-road space, make your way up to the first floor of the turquoise abode, to find yourself in a warm and welcoming sitting room.

The sitting room features a large bay window that not only brings natural light into the space but provides you with window seating where you can enjoy a captivating book; the room also features ample seating in front of the TV so you can enjoy a movie night with your loved ones.

The apartment enjoys contemporary touches, and this can be seen in the kitchen/diner, with its vaulted ceiling and sleek wood-effect fittings that consist of integrated, NEFF appliances, including an electric double oven.

After the budding chef of the group has fixed up a delectable meal, enjoy it at the stylish dining table as the TV plays on in the background.

When the day comes to an end, choose between four fantastic bedrooms to sleep in, the first one being a double resting on the first floor; the room enjoys nautical accents, whilst containing abundant storage for your things, along with a TV!

The double benefits from being near the stylish bathroom, where you can soak amongst the bubbles in the bath with shower over.

Venture to the second floor to find a king-size showcasing an iron bed frame and chic furnishings, along with hosting its own TV; this floor also houses a delightful twin and a bunk room where the extra friends or kids can rest.

The second-floor bedrooms benefit from the use of a fabulous shower room, where you can wash off the sand after a jam-packed day at the beach.

After dipping in and out of the independent shops on the high street or stopping for a bite to eat in one of the many eateries within the village, make your way down to Abersoch Main or Harbour Beach for a day filled with surfing, sailing and paddling; the village is also home to the Abersoch Golf Club, meaning the putting fans of the group won’t have to travel far for a tournament.

There are three beaches resting on the southern edge of the LlÅ·n Peninsula, one being the renowned Hells Mouth Beach, with sprawling sand dunes and ample surfing opportunities at-hand; from the beach, you can walk to Llanengan and stop for a delicious meal at The Sun Inn, or embark on the LlÅ·n Coastal Path towards Aberdaron, stopping at the wonderful landmark of Plan yn Rhiw along the way.

The village of Llanbedrog is just moments away from Abersoch, and hosts a handful of fantastic eateries, including the high-end Tremfan Hall, along with a popular art gallery, Plas Glyn y Weddw, and a walking trail that leads through its beach and nearby heathland.

The LlÅ·n Peninsula is home to so many more places to visit, from Pwllheli to Criccieth, whilst also enjoying easy access to the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, where ample outdoors excursions await.

A blissful stay with your loved ones awaits at Preswylfa.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
