"We booked this accommodation mainly because it had 4 bathrooms."
Only one shower worked properly. Ours was freezing. One went from too hot to too cold and had no in-between and the other had a hole which you had to plug so that the water came out of the shower head. There were steps with no bannister that were tricky for older members of the party. Also unless we opened all the windows (and the ground floor ones were locked) there was a nasty smell like something had died. Having said all that, the house was quirky, the setting was so peaceful and the patio was a lovely place to sit in the morning. There was plenty of room and the kitchen had everything we needed. A bit more care and attention and more help with the shower problems it could be really lovely.
Thank you for your review and for reporting the above problems which we will investigate asap.

"Ideal property for large family groups."
The garden was amazing, our weather was excellent when we were there so we spent most of our time outdoors. The whole family were very happy with their accommodation.
Plenty of places to visit nearby and the quarry next door was fascinating to walk round and explore.
Thanks Susan for your fantastic review we are so pleased you and your family enjoyed your stay

"We had a great stay this property is quite remote but easy to travel only short distances to coastal areas and into snowdonia a great location."
The property was quite dated but very quirky the “bar” was fabulous we felt like we were in a pub every night the rooms were spacious and comfortable- though in need of a little TLC the managers were very helpful
Thanks Margaret for your lovely review we are pleased you had a lovely stay

"Firstly we had a truly fantastic week; hence the 5 star rating; our family of 11 from 9 to 66 years old was sad to leave."
The star amenities are the Bar (we spent every night in the bar) and large back garden; the kids and adults loved both; beds comfy and loads of space for everyone. Some nice walks on the doorstep and lots to do within a 30 minute drive; the local Goat pub was very friendly. This property really needs a little maintenance and TLC to make it perfect; not too much because this would spoil the character of this 1800’s house; would we come back; a resounding yes.

"Plas Dorothea is the ideal accommodation for large families and groups, the room sizes and amount of bathrooms caters for all."
It was a great place for the children too, with loads of outdoor space and plenty of games to keep us all occupied. The accommodation offers a mixed decor with a mish mash of furniture, lots of knickknacks and is a little dated, but don't let that put you off! The kitchen has everything you need and there is a BBQ and garden furniture for outdoor eating/socialising. The bar/pub is an amazing asset, just stock it up and enjoy your own pub atmosphere

Beds comfortable. House had everything we needed and plenty of room for our family of 12 and 2 dogs. Great safe garden for dogs. Lots of walks from house. Great location for exploring North Wales. Will book again
Just one point, please could you sort windows so we can open them

"We had a wonderful stay, surroundings are beautiful in an isolated location."
The property itself needs some TLC in terms of redecorating but we loved it. It is spacious, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the garden is beautiful, our dog loved it. The bar is where we spent the majority of the time and is full of games and entertainment, even karaoke. The new owners couldn’t do enough for us and were extremely helpful with a few issues we had with one of our vehicles. All in all a fantastic stay. Thank you

"This was a beautiful property that we all throughly enjoyed staying in for our weekend away in North Wales."
All very unique and quirky - we especially loved the bar!
The property manager was very welcoming and friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay as nice as possible.
Our only tiny suggestion would be that there are a couple of bits that could do with some maintenance such as a cupboard door in the kitchen that has a broken hinge, and I think one of the pullout beds was missing a couple of slats.
Other than that I'd thoroughly recommend and would be very happy to stay again!

"Lovely property in a brilliant location!"
Facilities and cleaning may need a slight improvement, however, owners were very fast to remedying any issues (within a day)! Would recommend shoes in the bar area! Additionally, I would recommend more tasteful bar decorations as some were rather dated.
