15 Rosemary Lane

Granny, daughter and grandchildren 9 and 10 had a lovely stay in Beaumaris at this beautiful cottage.

We have stayed on Anglesey every year in various holiday rentals but Rosemary lane is by far one of the best we have ever rented. The fabulous decor, cleanliness, extremely comfortable beds with great bedding, beautiful furnishings, ease of use and lay out, extra toilet very useful. To whoever gets the cottage ready on changeover day, well done, obviously works hard to provide a spotless and well presented holiday home. We are grateful that the owners obviously went above and beyond when doing this house for holiday lets. Top marks to them, much appreciated. The house is on a quite narrow street but we always found a parking spot. Lovely adjoining neighbour who offered us the use of his bin on leaving day. We have never stayed in the centre of Beaumaris before and really loved the extra facilities that are at hand. We have crabbed off the pier many times but being a short stroll away was a great evening pastime. Even in August the town goes quiet of an evening so a pleasure to wander around or sit and enjoy the fantastic views. Everywhere on Anglesey is within easy reach. Must mention the independent bakery, Central Bakery, that is just at the end of Rosemary Lane and possibly too wonderful to resist so be warned !! Special thanks to Sykes cottages out of hours team who were so helpful when granny had a senior moment and accidentally locked us out one evening. Much appreciated to have help at hand. We would not hesitate in recommending Rosemary Lane to anyone, such a beautiful property. Well done to everyone involved.

Let’s just say, when we return to Anglesey we’ll be trying to book 15 Rosemary Lane first!

A stunning property beautifullly furnished .

So comfy and well equiped with everything you could possibly think of .Finding the cutlery was fun but quickly sorted with help of customer service team .Nice touch with welcome cake milk and water .Ideally situated cottage and would recommend to families or couples .Perfect if you have a dog , secure small patio and inner porch .lino flooring ideal for sandy paws .This is a real gem .

Really beautiful home very deceiving from the front how big it is.

Furnished very highly throughout and each room so tastefully done with use of supporting local businesses also noted in the decor. It’s gave me some inspiration for our own home. The house is perfectly located for the high street and all amenities. Special touches for the eggs for the children was very much appreciated. We have family who live in Penmon and normally stay there when we visit however this little peace of luxury will certainly be a new firm favourite for us to stay going forward. One thing for owners to consider would be perhaps some cheaper plastic children’s plates and cups. Even the cups and glasses were so up market I was worried whenever they asked for a drink, just shows the standard within the house. The mark down in scoring was only due to parking. Unfortunately some cars from the business opposite never moved whilst we stayed so made it impossible to park outside the house with other neighbours using cones to block off for themselves. If you was parking up for the trip which you could easily do with everything so close won’t be an issue, for us as we were out and about visiting we did have to park on high street a lot and keep moving due to the wardens etc. This is a small price to pay and wouldn’t put us off re visiting and of course nothing the owners can do about this or else I’m sure they would’ve as everything in the property has been thought about to help make your stay perfect. Well done both !

This is the second time that we have stayed at Rosemary lane over the New Year period.

We received a lovely welcome pack that included a bottle of Lanson Champagne, cakes, biscuits + milk etc. The cottage was as usual spotless and had a lovely welcoming feel to it. Location wise Rosemary La is perfect as extremely local to all the pubs & restaurants.

We had such a lovely stay in Rosemary Lane.

Loved the house. Everything you needed. Particularly loved the oven with so much functionality. Need one of those! Little touches like the lovely soaps, which can be bought in Beaumaris and the welcome basket of goodies were appreciated. Partial to Bara Brith. Beaumaris is a great place to stay. We found a car parking spot right outside and didn't use the car. The number 58 bus takes you in both directions, either to Menai or we did a trip to Llanddona (views and beach amazing). There is also a woodland walk about 20 mins walk up Henlys Lane which was great for us. Would highly recommend the Liverpool Arms for food and the Bull has a lovely courtyard beer garden. Sarisa Indian was amazing, we had a takeaway. The bakery round the corner does freshly made bread and bacon/sausage butties as well as pastries. A fabulous week!

Cannot recommend this lovely place to stay enough!

Exceptionally clean and tidy place to stay, with everything you need for a comfortable week. Perfect location within walking distance of the lovely Beaumaris, where there are lots of shops and places to eat and drink. Beaumaris is also the perfect area to stay in to explore Anglesey. We fell in love with Wales during our recent visit and, because we were so impressed, have just booked to stay again at 15 Rosemary Lane.

arking a real problem the people who live next door obviously resent having holiday ket next door and parking.

They blocked us in 3 days out of the 7 you could not even get a leg between the cars she went so close to ours The people at the factory commented on it and said they do that all the time. To leave you no room to even get to your front door was just ignorant. Would not stay here again because of that.

Fantastic - great location, stylish decor, everything provided that you need including tea towels and dishwasher tablets. Very comfortable beds. Street parking but no issues parking although a couple of days we did park around the corner. Another amazing stay!

Very comfortable and excellent location to the centre of Beaumaris. Excellent amenities, may be worth adding to your listing that you have a hairdryer as I wasn't sure so brought one, and it took us a while to find the hidden drawer with the culterly in LOL. Some info about recycling may be useful too, but we managed to figure this out.

Fab cottage in fab location - we had an electric EV with us - chargers at the leisure centre for overnight:/ day whilst out in town.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, so clean, quality bed, bedding and furnishings.

There was nothing to dislike. So close to the town, too, that it made popping for a coffee and a walk along the pier, a regular part of our day. The only downside, and it’s not fair to mark the property down because of this, but I’m sure everyone comments on the problems parking. One night we had to use and pay for the public car park, but it didn’t take anything away from our lovely holiday in Beaumaris.

Such a gorgeous property - it was super cosy and beautifully decorated, really close to town.

We struggled to park on the road outside the cottage but lots of spaces if you turn left at the end of the road, within a few minutes walk. We’ll definitely be back one day.

Yet again Sykes cottages do not let you down, Rosemary La, from the outside looks like a quaint terraced cottage.

Inside reveals a large spacious modern, contemporary and beautifully furnished property. Location was ideal for a New Year stay. The welcome hamper and card was also a lovely touch. The property and location was so good, we have already booked for New Year 2025.

Really appreciated the early early check in call that we received when we were on route as we had a 3 month old baby with us.

The property is perfectly positioned for site seeing and close to all amenities. The property was beautiful, stylish and comfortable and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come again. The only downside. was that on arrival there was quite a strong doggy odour that reduced as the week went on . Otherwise a fantastic week

It has a stunning kitchen and bathroom and is beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. It is very well equipped and very clean. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week in beaumaris and our stay at the cottage was just wonderful,it felt just like home from home,it is an absolutely beautiful property,absolutely spotless and everything you need for your comfort,the little touches did not go unnoticed,it was exceptional all of it and we can't wait to return to the cottage and beaumaris in 2025 thankyou rob,jo&marthur ❤️

Severe asthma attack due to copious amounts of large feather filled cushions.

Post asthma attack, and after hiding the cushions away in unused bedroom and cupboards I was told to move all the cushions out of the house myself! Not great.

We feel it only fair to give honest/balanced feedback.

So firstly, here are the pros...15 Rosemary Lane is a lovely modern, chic, property with all the mod cons anyone needs. The decor is like one of those houses in House Beautiful etc (very stylish) and of a high standard, as are all appliances, beds, and the bathroom/kitchen are amazing. The owner has spent a lot of money on this high-end house! Cons: Having stayed at several Sykes properties in Beaumaris over the last few years we've been able to drop our bags/dried food goods and devices such as laptops off when we arrived, before the check-in; despite check-in being 4 p.m. I mean who wants to leave a laptop/clothes and food in a car and its boot for hours in 27 degrees heat in a public car park for hours? Out of three of the four properties we booked that wasn't a problem at all, as we put our stuff in a corner out of the way and left within 15 minutes. Three of the aforementioned properties were ready way before 4 p.m. but I digress, on this occasion; my wife was confronted by a woman (presumably the owner and one of the cleaners) chasing up the street shouting in a very snotty tone, “What you doing, you can’t go in there yet, it’s not ready.” As she reached the property this woman proceeded to be rude harrumphing about and being moody with us. Welcome to Beaumaris, we thought! I explained the key code was ready and we were just dropping our stuff off, and put it all in a corner the living room and would be out their way and would be gone in minutes. And that’s what we did; literally ten minutes and gone! But as “guests” we expected a more courteous attitude; instead, we got this rude interaction that left us feeling annoyed and deflated for a couple of hours. After all, we’d paid £830 for this and if it was the owner then she clearly has bad manners and zero understanding of repeat business! All she needed to say was – “You're welcome to drop your things off, and have a great holiday.” You can check in at four. Suffice to say, we will not be staying at 15 Rosemary Lane again. Although, we love Sykes properties and will book another soon! It’s not too much to expect to be treated with respect as a paying guest! We weren’t going to mention this, but even my daughter was taken aback by this woman’s attitude; which as I say, left us feeling humiliated in Public Street. Not a good start to a well-earned holiday is it!

Lovely property beautifully furnished and decorated and pretty much everything you need thought of.

Location was great and only had issue with parking once but only had to park round the corner . Slightly noisy first thing with the garage next door but didn’t really bother us . Overall perfect :)

Amazing stay.

The cottage is stunning. The owners thought of everything and left us the most thoughtful welcome gifts! We even had flowers. We will definitely be booking again. The only suggestion would be to have a microwave but it wouldn’t stop us rebooking. The furnishings were lovely. Hats off to the person who did the interior design. Loved the locallly sourced interior touches. A little tip for future guests, pop the black bin in front of the house to save the space for your car. It helped us enormously as I’m disabled and needed to park by the cottage.

A perfect cottage for the four of us, it was immaculately clean and every utensil for the kitchen.

A great location for staying in Beaumaris with easy parking straight outside the house. Lovely and warm as well as lots of hot water for a great size walk in shower, good to have a separate loo as well.

A second visit to this stylish, immaculate and comfortable cottage was just as enjoyable as the first.

The most comfortable beds ensure a good sleep and it's very well equipped to a high standard. A bottle of festive mulled wine and a Christmas panettone plus doggie treats were a thoughtful touch. The WiFi went down briefly this time and knocked out the Hive heating system but an engineer was sent out quickly and restored everything before it got cold again. So handy for the seafront and beach and doggie walking as well as the Victorian Christmas fair. Not forgetting the wonderful Central Bakery (the Bavarian loaf and the pasties are to die for) at the end of the road and the duck in plum sauce from the Chinese takeaway (very old fashioned) there was just delicious and spring rolls freshly made, the size of a small plate - yummy! Good value and plentiful. The Janet Bell Gallery proved tempting again and another painting is winging its way to Chester again to a newly decorated hallway. Good coffee at Jollys and Beau tea room. Fabulous sunsets and views over the snow capped mountains. Lovely.

Fabulous house, impossibly clean, very comfortable beds, extremely well equipped and everything excellent quality.

Lovely welcome pack of milk, cold sparkling water, bara brith and chocolate cake from the bakery at the end of the road, tea, coffee, dog treats and beautiful flowers, thank you. Lovely quiet outside area at the back for a morning coffee as we were lucky with the weather for most of the week. Parking wasn't really a problem for me, a bit tight at times but manageable. Beaumaris is a great little town where you'll never go short of a pasty or a cake! It's a great base for exploring the island and it's incomparable beaches. I've always loved Anglesey but never stayed in Beaumaris before, if I was to do so again, it would be at 15 Rosemary Lane. It's a great location, (despite the garage) with all the amenities, castle, courthouse gaol, and pier within 5 minutes walk. Would 100% recommend to others, the effort that has been put into making this house a welcoming and comfortable holiday home is worth seeing. Thanks, Shirley and party.

Hello Sykes The cottage was as described and beautifully furnished to a high specification.

The location was perfect and a stone throw away from the town and promenade. However the negative is the parking as it’s a very small street with roadside parking on a first come first serve basis. To add to this there is an engineering factory opposite and a working garage 3 doors away. The owner of the factory made life as difficult as possible for us by planting two cars outside the cottage and left them there all week meaning I had to find alternative parking elsewhere. For this reason I would not go back and wouldn’t recommend to others.

Me and my family stayed at the cottage for a week before the end of the summer holidays, we had the most wonderful time there.

The cottage is done to an extremely high standard and is beautiful throughout. The short walk to amenities and the pier is ideal for my grandad who can't walk too far and we spent a lot of time their. We had the best week an absolutely loved the cottage. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Spent a fabulous week in this stunning cottage that is a credit to the owners.

Decorated & furnished to a very high standard & well equipped, comfortable & spotlessly clean. Also well situated for all that beautiful Beaumaris has to offer. Only slight downside is the parking, but that is the same for most places in Beaumaris. We always found somewhere within a couple of streets & it would not put us off staying here again or recommending it to others. Stay here & you won’t be disappointed!

This property was magnificent and the location was spot on.

The kitchen was out of this world. We had a great time. The beds were comfortable and it was finished to a very high speck. We obsolutly loved it!!!

Everything was new, clean, fresh and comfortable. The location is ideal, close to all local amenities, yet tucked away down a quiet lane. We hope to return and will recommend to family and friends.

I appreciate the investment that has gone into the refurbishment of the property - plenty of high end fixtures (we had the same lovely radiators in a previous house we refurbed!). Hope to return x

So impressed with the cottage, beautiful & well equipped, made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.

The location is just right for the little town and admenaties. We had an amazing time here in Anglesey and visited some spectacular places, Snowdonia was beautiful. A must is the Aber waterfalls, very impressive and so enjoyed Caernarfon castle. We managed to see some puffins on Holyhead and a few on the puffin boat trip. We will not forget how lovely a place Beaumaris is and the lovely locals. We will highly recommend to all our damily & friends
