"We had a great time at the cottage, perfect setting for walks in the area."
We've had mixed weather but no rain. The cottage was perfect for are needs, could do with a couple of little tables to put things on, but would recommend staying here.
Thank you for your kind review. We have actually just purchased some oak tables for the living room which will be installed this week. Thank you for your comments and glad you enjoyed your stay and everything Beddgelert has to offer. Property Owner

"Hi, my husband booked this cottage with me not knowing that it had steps outside and stairs to climb, and I have a back & leg Disability so as you can imagine I was not pleased."
The cottage was very cosy, and everything you need, but the shower was hit and miss very hot, then very cold, and I tried to clean the toilet with the brush but to no avail! The steps outside were very steep for me, but the River was awesome and it was lovely sitting in the Dining Room looking out on the river.
Thank you for your review. The pictures included a photograph of the steps outside to access the terrace, however it is now clearly stated in the listing, apologies for any inconvenience caused. The shower was newly installed last winter so there should not be any issues however I will check this out. Glad you enjoyed having dinner by the river. Property Owner

"What a charming cottage in a most beautiful location!"
We absolutely loved the river flowing past the garden and could have just sat there for hours- it was so peaceful! The cottage was very well equipped and cosy and it was exactly what we needed for a fabulous walking holiday! The only thing that would have been helpful is a little welcome note with a couple of bits of information about the cottage for example we weren't sure how to use the hot water as it wouldn't work at first. Additionally, the bathroom door didn't lock. It was a great stay and we would highly recommend the cottage! Thank you!
Thanks you for your kind review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We will ensure a folder is provided with details of the cottage and make sure the bathroom door lock functions correctly Hopefully you return to enjoy Beddgelert again soon Property Owner

"The cottage is compact but generally comfortable and very well equipped."
It should be noted that the stairs to the bedroom and down to the patio are fairly steep. The location ,close to the village and by the river , is excellent. It really is a beautiful area and sitting by the river became addictive ! On street parking is generally ok but can be busy from 5ish as visitors come into Beddgelert to eat. Plenty of choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs. A couple of issues for us. If the double bed is actually king size it’s a small one . We could not find a way to make the TV loud enough and when we arrived the fridge freezer had been switched off . The freezer drawers were full of water. The router had also been switched off and it was not straightforward to reset. The kitchen was perfectly clean and well equipped but the work surfaces were sticky , possibly the varnish used. Some bin liners would have been useful.

"Clean, with everything we needed."
Great location by the river As an older couple ourselves, we felt that the stairs were quite steep, if you have an mobility issues as my hubby does. The patio overlooking the river is idyllic ( we had perfect weather ), but felt the area needed just a little more smartening up to create a really lovely Riverside space. Not easy though, as the adjoining house, which shares the patio area is empty and up for sale
Thank you for your kind comments. Glad you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate your feedback and we will speak to the neighbours about tidying up their terrace. Thanks again Property Owner
