Great for grandchildren and dogs, ideally located for beach and shops. Lovely and clean and comfy. Hope to be back soon.

We had a fabulous stay at H Jem.

On arrival we found the bungalow was warm clean and tidy, the sofas and bed were lovely and comfy and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The information book was helpful and the cut through down to the beach was great and well used. We would definitely love to return in the future.

Was really pleased with this property, the cleanliness and nice homely feeling about H Jem, It is in a nice location, a nice walk to the beach via a shortcut, with plenty of eating places nearby.

A three bed bungalow with a dog friendly garden, within easy walking distance to local shops and the beach.

The owner was very helpful.

Great location, unfortunately there was a smell in the lounge possibly from carpet and a corner lamp was covered with alot of old dog hair, there was musty smells when opened kitchen cupboards , but over all a enjoyable stay and a comfortable cottage.

We stayed here last in 2022 and returned this time with grandchildren and dogs.

Ideally situated, comfy and clean, everything you need for a family holiday. We didnt cook so can't comment on cooker, washer or dishwasher, but beds and sofas were great. Easy walk to beach and shops and Benllech is perfect for kids and for exploring further afield. Recommendations - Caffie Bae, The Shed. The Chinese takeaway at Pentraeth, the Indian at the golf course. Minor niggles - smell in double bedroom (damp possibly?) and our dogs (labs) could escape from the garden. Probably not the case for smaller dogs. Would we return- absolutely. Will probably book again for next year. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Lovely and comfortable bungalow.

Large garden area for our 2 dogs. This is the 2nd consecutive year we have been to H Jem and we would come again. In a lovely location, quiet area, near to Benllech. Really enjoyed our stay.

The property was comfortable, spacious and very well equipped.

We couldn't find where the washing machine plug was, couldn't see it under the sink unit, spoke to the caretaker by phone and he didn't know. The bungalow had a very strong smell of dogs. There were dog hairs on the sofas, on the double duvet, one on a plate that I took out of the cupboard and one in the freezer! Had to brush the sofas and covered with one of the throws. Used the Febreze provided all over the carpet in the sitting room. Maybe be better if it was a hard floor and leather/vinyl sofas so easier to get rid of dog smells and easier to clean.

Very comfortable. Lots to do in the area

H Jem is a very comfortable and well equipped bungalow in a good location within walking distance of the shops, places to eat and a nice hotel to have a drink.

The beach is a 30 minute walk away ,although a little steep coming back. The garden is big and enclosed. Our little dog loved it. It is also nice to sit in the sun. It would be nice to have a couple of comfy chairs to relax in as well as the patio chairs. This was our third visit and we hope to return for a fourth. Thank you for a lovely stay.

H Jem, is a great base near a beautiful beach.

It gives great access to explore Anglesey and Eyri national park. The house is comfortable, with all the amenities you need, including a well equipped kitchen and a great garden if you have a 4 legged family member. We will definitely book it again.

Love this bungalow.

We have been staying at the bungalow over 2 yrs, very clean, lovely furnishings, ideal accommodation for a family and a fantastic area, especially Benlech beach. Will be booking for next yr asap. Need to introduce loyalty cards, lol Thankyou the bungalow owners for providing us with a fantastic base for all the family and four legs friends to explore and enjoy

A very nice, and convenient place to stay.

Nice size garden for our dog to mulch around in safety. Near to Breeze Hill hotel which is a nice place to eat, where you can take your dog. We were very lucky with the weather which was a bonus. We will return.

We had a lovely Christmas at the Bungalow.

It was very nicely decorated, and there was a very nice welcome pack that we enjoyed. A short walk to a very nice place to eat The Breeze Hill, where we enjoyed a few excellent meals. The bungalow has a nice grassed garden which is secure, for our little old dog to mooch around in. We’ve been coming to Benllech On a regular basis over the years, and we will definitely be coming back to H Gem. Thank you. Eileen, Bob, and Ellie.

H Jem is a very nice well equipped property.

Very comfortable bed, lots of wardrobe space and hangers provided. Very nice main room and comfortable. New bathroom, super shower, the magnifying mirror is magic. The bungalow is top clean, could do with a good spring clean and one of the windows in the main bedroom doesn't fully close so you can hear passing traffic and it lets the cold in. There was instructions for the central heating control but that wasn't working as possibly the boiler was switched off somewhere and the weather had changed so it was quite cold in the bedroom. But overall we enjoyed our stay at H Jem. Carolyn Marshall

Forth time at this lovely bungalow, as usual we thoroughly enjoyed are visit.

Love the new kitchen doors. Only gripe was the back bedroom mattress, the centre spring feels close the coming through. Everything else was perfect as always, comfy, clean and very well equipped. Oh, unlocking and locking the front door is a nightmare.

Large back garden for our 2 dogs. Appreciated the milk and cake left for us. Lovely bungalow had everything we needed.

Ideal position for beautiful Beach. Garden great for us and the dogs. Everything we needed. Could have been cleaner but nothing drastic. Locks on outside doors could do with some attention.

This was our second visit to H Jem and once again we had a lovely relaxing holiday.

The bungalow is homely, well equipped and very comfortable. The garden is large and enclosed which made it perfect for our little dog. It was lovely to be able to walk to the beach and along the coastal path. The shops, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance, but it is hilly. It was a bonus to be able to leave the car on the drive. We are looking forward to another visit soon. Thank you.

The accommodation was fantastic and in a brilliant location for the beach and costal paths with the dogs.

The only issue we had was a strong smell in one of bedrooms and front door key would not work. This was not an issue for us as we just walk round to the back entrance and the own of the property addressed the smell issue. We will be booking this holiday home again for 2025. Another wrongly listed property by Sykes did not mention all of the steps everywhere .

. we had to come back after 4 days losing 6 days holiday .. this is not a reflection on the owner but on Sykes …we will never use Sykes again and they have the cheek and Gaul to try to sell us another property as soon as we arrive . Would I recommend Sykes no chance at all..

We had a lovely holiday.

Thank you. The front doors need looking at as the locks were very difficult to lock. The double bedroom door handle is nearly falling off. Was worried if I shut the door I wouldn’t be able to get out. I would also recommend more cleaning products. Like cloths to clean the bathroom. Other than these which were actual minor things. We had a great time and look forward to coming again. Thank you

We found H Jen to be an excellent bungalow for a very enjoyable holiday with our dogs.

This was our third visit to H-Jem, it's beginning to feal like our second home.

We are both really happy with how comfortable the beds etc; are. The kitchen has just about everything you need, although I always take a small non-stick frying pan with me to any house we stay at. Nearly all cottages have seriously damaged frying pans. It's only a short walk down the road to a footpath that takes you down some steps to the beach. Co-Op and a Spar are just a couple of minutes drive away. What's not love.

The property was ideally suited, fully equipped, clean and comfortable. It was our first visit to Benllech, We will definitely will be back - beautiful beaches in a great location to explore the surrounding area’s.

This is the smallest bungalow we have stayed in and even though it has facilities for 6 people to sleep and dine, it did not have the room for 6 people to sit comfortably together.

It also only has the one room to sit in and only one television There were no facilities for various age groups and wasn’t equipped for bad weather with games or activities It was also near a main road which is not stated in the description of the property The patio area and garden were good and the beach wasn’t too far for the abled bodied.

When viewing the location of the cottage we stayed in Bellech, H Jem, on your map it appears to be close to the bottom of the road, Lon Conwy, near the entrance to the beach road, however, on arrival, the cottage is actually at the top of the road, next to the main coast road around Anglesey.

I think you should be more accurate with your listings regarding location as we had a member of our party who has Asthma and hence we opted for a property close to the bottom of the hill, as per your listing. Perhaps providing the full postcode in the listing would help potential bookings locate the property more accurately.

We had a lovely, relaxing holiday at H Jem.

The bungalow is very comfortable and well equipped. We loved its position, being 10 minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the shops, pubs, takeaways and the butchers. It was lovely to be able to leave the car on the drive for a couple of days. The large enclosed garden was perfect for our little dog and it was nice to be able to sit out when the sun shone. It was the perfect base to explore the many lovely places around. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We hope to return one day.

Well equipped bungalow, good garden, all village facilities in walking distance.

Comfortable and clean, everything you need is in the bungalow,.. Just a couple of criticism poor drainage for sinks and shower hence sink pipes smelt a bit, Step outside back door needs to be larger as quite dangerous. Skirting boards and switch sockets need a good clean but other than that the rest of the bungalow was clean Very enjoyable stay, fantastic weather Thank you for having us

Lovely bungalow , lovely village Bungalow is ideally situated for both the village and the beach - 10 minute walk for each.

It's clean,tidy and comfortable.Kitchen has everything you should need.Perfect for dogs - large garden and summer room if they need to dry out.

Lovely bungalow with everything we needed.

It’s only a 10 minute walk to the beach which was great in the morning with the dog (although not sure if it is dog friendly all year). Please note the walk back is mostly uphill though - although this was not a problem for me. Due to the dog we normally cook in the accommodation and it had everything we needed. It had a great location in Anglesey to allow us to explore the whole area and beyond. We loved it and there is some stunning scenery in Anglesey to see. Thoroughly recommend!

Lovely accommodation, great location, they only niggle was at the front of the property which wasn't dog proof ,the wall in the front garden was small and was only covered by bushes, the dogs could easily get through if needed.

It was fine around the back, so long as I was outside with them it wasn't a problem, but you couldn't leave them outside unattended due to being close to a busy road.

Property is clean and modern.

However, I should have looked on Google maps before booking as this bungalow is adjacent to main road, making road noise a real issue. Internet is intermittent. If these things aren't a problem for you then this would be a decent place to stay.

Excellent stay in a great location with all the comforts of home.

Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Thankyou to the homeowners for the little extras e.g... tea,coffee extra ...nice touch. Benllec was a beautiful place...we thourghly enjoyed ourselves.

This place is emaculate, its extremely comfortable and clean.

Our two little dogs loved the garden. The kitchen had every utensil you can think of. Close to beach, shops and pubs. The down side was we couldn't use the main bedroom as there is damp behind the drawers at the side of the bed near window. We bought air freshener but didn't help unfortunately so we used the other room.

2nd time we’ve been to this cottage, the first time was in 2019 with “STS-holidays”.

Very pleased with the cottage then and even more pleased with it this time. Turning the small bedroom into a proper twin-bedded room instead of a room with bunk beds is a great idea. The kitchen is well equipped. I purchased a small frying pan to replace one that was no longer non-stick, it was only £3+, no big deal. We brought some expandable trellis with us to stretch between the shed and the fuchsia bush. It makes the area at the back for the dog a lot more manageable. I only have one complaint, and it’s a big one. I don’t know who the caretaker/cleaner is, but they need a talking to. Because my partner has the dogs bed in his bedroom (she snores something terrible], and I need quiet in order to sleep. We’d decided prior to arriving that we would each have one of the beds in the twin rooms. Wherever we’ve stayed before all the beds have been made up and a bath and hand towel have been on top of them. We were totally stunned, upset and very angry to discover that the only bed that was made up was the double bed. I phoned the caretakers number that’s on the Sykes information about the cottage. It instantly went over to voicemail, so I left a message, no one got back to me or turned up at the cottage. I ended up sleeping in the twin room by the sunroom. I had to use one of the duvets and pillows without covers on them on the bed, fortunately I bring my own quilt with me. We’re hoping to come again next year, so I hope I don’t have the same problem. How dare they decide our sleeping arrangements for us.

Great little base for a holiday in Anglesey.

Clean and tidy. Well equipped. Close to the town centre for pubs, restaurants and shopping. Walking distance to the beach. Recommended

Nice clean bungalow and good location for exploring island .

Nice size garden especially good for our dog ,felt nervous with the gap in hedge at the front corner ,maybe needs a bit of netting or infill, certainly not a complaint just an observation though .
