"We stayed in the property over New Year and returned for a second visit within two months."
This in itself tells you we must like the property!

"A beautiful cottage in a remote location with panoramic rural and sea views."
Both the cottage and the separate annex could be stunning but sadly the property was badly let down by the lack of maintenance. On arrival the toilet was totally blocked, as was the bath, the light switch and bath tap were unsecured, there were no radiators in the bed rooms, there was no caretaker to contact directly.

"Fantastic rural location, views from dining room amazing of the bay and surrounding area."
Let down by wear & tare: dining room external door and window leaked badly, bathroom needed attention as light switch loose, shower screen didn't fit currently hence water over floor everytime shower used, bath hot tap loose and needed a coat of paint. Broken chair in dining room. In description of the cottage clearly states fuel/heating included in the rent, only heating we had was a towel rail in bathroom and in dining room. The photos of cottage show heaters in lounge and bedroom, they had been removed. In the information booklet in the cottage it even mentioned about the radiators and not to alter the settings. Also, no guest book.

"We had a great week at Ty’n Mynydd."
The view over to Silver Bay is absolutely gorgeous and it’s a great spot to watch the nature on your doorstep. We have a reactive dog and the seclusion of the property meant we could all relax properly without him constantly barking at people. Being able to walk to Silver Bay in about 15-20 through the fields was fantastic. The only negative would be the quality of the interior fixtures and fittings. In the annexe the shower door handle falls off, as does the row of coat hooks on the wall. The lamp and an Ikea chair in the conservatory are broken. Both bathrooms are in need of decoration. A few of the outdoor chairs are coming apart. This didn’t affect our enjoyment of the property though as the view/location is the main attraction. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge sofa and chairs are comfy, as are the beds. We would definitely book again but would keep our fingers crossed that the broken items have been replaced and the bathrooms have been spruced up. Overall, a beautiful, relaxing holiday in our favourite place.

"Lovely peaceful break in Anglesey with a fantastic view."
We were a party of 2 with a dog. At times we had trouble with water pressure which would quite often go to nothing. The balcony garden furniture is very tired, as was the bathroom in the main cottage. The whole cottage could really do with a deep clean and the conservatory could do with an update. Having said all that we loved the peaceful seclusion, having rabbits, hedgehog, toads and barn owl regular visitors during our stay. Despite the few niggles we would definitely return due to the seclusion of this cottage which allowed us to recharge our batteries for two weeks.

"We had a fantastic stay at this holiday letting!"
The location was absolutely perfect – tucked away in peaceful countryside with stunning views of both the coast and surrounding landscape. It was wonderfully quiet and isolated, making it the ideal spot to truly unwind.
We especially enjoyed the easy access to beautiful coastal walks, and spent many lovely evenings having meals in the huge garden and the sunroom – both great spaces to relax and take in the scenery. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a barbecue which we made good use of! RAFValley is nearby so there were planes and jets flying but this just added to the experience as we were fascinated watching them fly overhead.
While the road leading to the property is a bit bumpy, it’s easily drivable with any car and didn’t cause any issues at all. We’ve already booked again for next year – can’t wait to return!

"Lovely cottage with great views, slight issue with the outside bins not being emptied before our arrival but sorted very quickly."
No problem with the track up to the cottage once you have left the tarmacad section, there are a few small potholes and uneven bits but if you take it slowly it's fine and well worth it for the reward at the end when the cottage comes into view. We are looking to book again as soon funds allow.

"The setting of this cottage was lovely."
After about a mile of tarmac drive through a private estate, you take a farm track to reach the house. It is remote with stunning views. Whilst the Annex is beautiful, we felt the main cottage could do with some TLC. A lot of the conservatory double glazing was misted, and the bistro set on the decking was rusty and had legs broken. We found the bed was comfy and there were plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. Perhaps a gate on the drive would prevent livestock getting into the garden. We found numerous fresh cow pats on the lawns.
We had the most glorious weather and made full use of the gardens. Our dog was in doggy heaven, with walks from the door.
We will definitely book again!

"I nearly didn't book this because someone had said you needed a 4x4 to get to it."
Fortunately I checked with some grown ups and drove my 2.3mx7.3m motorhome to the house with now problem whatsoever.
I glad I checked it a wonderful location with amazing views.
The Internet wasn't up to scratch to watch Netflix with the kids however I did have my personal modem in the motorhome so we over came that.
We will definitely book again.

"Unless you have a 4x4 or off road vehicle of some type do not book this property."
The track is extremely rough. There are no signs to point you in the right direction but as long as you go past the scrap pile you are heading the right way - even a rep from Menai holidays couldnt find the place. It looks clean enough but smells damp and the armchairs have no support whatsoever. We were there 3/4 hour and only while booking somewhere else to stay as we didnt want to break the car. Enough said!

"The cottage itself was well equipped."
The only let-down was that we could not get the internet to work ( kept saying bad password ).
The location was beautiful. Plenty of safe runaround room for the dog and any children that may be staying. The views are amazing and we enjoyed watching the RAF practice their close formation flying.
Overall cleanliness is good but needs attention in corners and the windows could do with a clean. Would definately recommend.
Hi Sharon, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. I am really sorry you had trouble with the WiFi password we have recently had it upgraded and the it consultant wrote it down wrong.
