Wow wow wow me & my husband & mother in law & our 2 little dogs have just come home after a 4 night stay from this lovely lodge this is an amazing lodge absolutely spotless & very comfy beds lovely touches there’s family games Netflix dvd & lovely touches hand wash & bubbles if u would like a bath everything & more that u need in the kitchen doggy treat, cleaning stuff hoover mop bucket it was amazing a secure area at the patio doors for your pooches & easy to clean with the decking beautiful side garden with furniture the walk round the caravan park is great for the dogs they loved it the bar on site was great we will definitely be going back & Neal the owner was lovely as we contacted him to find the lodge when we arrived nothing was to much it was amazing from start to finish

"A lovely bolt hole in the middle of beautiful countryside."
Hardly a noise to disturb us. If you want the ideal place to switch off and relax then this place fits the bill. Every facility that you need is at hand and the three of us really didn’t want to come home. Clean and comfortable.

A short excursion will bring you to the popular town of Bala, here you will find a whole host of activities for the whole family to enjoy including a range of watersports on Bala Lake, or head to Llangollen where there is a wealth of attractions to keep everyone entertained including Llangollen Railway, Castell Dinas Bran and the spectacular Horseshoe Falls.

The hilltop town of Ruthin lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. The town is picturesque with attractive half-timbered buildings, mainly clustered around St Peter’s Square. There are many interesting shops and buildings, whilst the Nant Clwyd House (the oldest timber frame in Wales), Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre, which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople, are also worth a visit. Beautiful countryside is on Ruthin’s doorstep with Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and Clocaenog Forest close by. Further afield, but still within easy touring distance, are the coast, Snowdonia National Park and historic Chester.
