"Welcome pack was a lovely touch much appreciated thank you, well equipped kitchen,
Comfy beds and sofas and outdoor furniture was great!"
! We had to clean the BBQ before we could use it maybe that should be checked prior to arrival and the garden was unkempt.
We had a problem when we arrived with the main bathroom drain which was sorted after 3 days so there was a distinctive smell in the property until then, the plumber was very good but the problem was getting through to initially report the issue it wasn’t easy needs a better contact facility. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay great location for easy walk to Abersoch and beach.

"This is a lovely property, ideal location, lovely open plan design and plenty of room for a family."
Very clean, warm ( we were there for new year) and there was a lovely festive welcome pack for us.
The only improvement would be to provide towels. Accommodation is not cheap in Abersoch and for the price you should include towels.

"Small garden with little useable space."
Too many steps and walls to fall over on patio area.
Very dusty blinds in ensuite bedroom despite start of Summer season.
Need to have pillow protectors.
Need for 1 cupboard in kitchen allocated to guests use.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay.
We are always open to constructive comments and strive to improve wherever possible. We appreciate your note regarding the pillow protectors and these have been purchased to ensure the highest standards of comfort for our future guests.
However, we were disappointed to read some of your other remarks, which we feel do not fully reflect the quality or character of our property. The garden and patio area are accurately described in our listing, and many previous guests have found them to be a charming and relaxing feature. That said, we understand every guest has different preferences, and we are sorry it didn’t meet your expectations.
Cleanliness is something we take very seriously, and I have been in touch with the management company regarding the dusty blinds. Previous guests in June 2025 have reported the property to be clean/spotless.
Regarding the kitchen, we do leave ample cupboard space for guests, and again, this has been positively mentioned by others.
Whilst we are disappointed by the ratings given, particularly in terms of listing accuracy and facilities we remain confident in the experience we offer, which has been consistently praised by previous guests.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

"We had a lovely few days at 15 Maes Awel."
The house has pretty much everything you might need, it's very comfortable, spacious enough for five of us, and well situated within walking distance of the town centre or beach. The rest of the fabulous Llyn Peninsula is just a short drive away. The lovely welcome basket was a wonderful find on our arrival.
We know the area well and we're delighted to have find such a lovely place to stay. We would love to return.
If I had to be super, super picky, the additional of towels and a dryer would be helpful. In February, this isn't much of an issue as we didn't need beach towels and could dry clothes in the heated house. However in the summer, adding beach and other towels would increase luggage significantly for a family. In the summer, with no dryer or heating, it's very difficult to dry clothes on a rainy day. Again, this is just if I'm being super picky. The house is even nicer than shown on the photographs and I would thoroughly recommend it.
Thanks very much for your lovely comments about your stay at our Abersoch home.
We'll certainly take on board your comments about a dryer and perhaps providing towels and see what we can do. We do have an electric heated Towel rail in the bathroom (even in the Summer) but appreciate this may not be enough.
Thanks again and welcome back whenever.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
It is a beautiful property at the end of a quiet cuil de sac - everything you need is provided - home from home, with quality items. Very comfortable beds and sofa. We loved the open fire and were provided with logs etc as a starter for our stay. There was also a lovely welcome pack on arrival - bottle of fizz, crackers, coffee, tea and mince pies and a bottle of milk and cheese in fridge.
We are delighted that you enjoyed your Christmas break at our holiday home - we appreciate the feedback many thanks

"The house is beautiful and had all the comforts and was ideal for our family on arrival it was warm inviting with a wonderful welcome basket."
On closer inspection we noticed the cob webs dead flies and dust. The blinds in one of the bedrooms were broken and just bunch up at the corner of the window. The house looked like it had been clean but then left for a while and just the heating turned on before we arrived. I went to take a shower after unpacking not realising the extent of the dust the shower tray had to be cleaned after my shower and my feet had to be rewashed. This house is beautiful and I would recommend and rebook this feedback is more about your cleaners
Hi Helen,
Thank you for your valuable feedback. I believe your guess is correct. The last time someone was in the property was 15 days prior and as a result, the place had become dusty..unfortunately due to the proximity of the wood, we do get a lot of insect life.
We'll learn from this and make sure there is an inspection if the house is vacant for more than a week.
Thanks again

"We absolutely loved our stay at 15 Maes Awel."
The house was very clean and beautifully furnished, accommodating myself, elderly mother, daughter and her friend and mine.
My mother’s mobility is poor, so found it a tad difficult to get up the few front door steps, but once inside, it was perfect for her little trolley.
My only constructive criticism, is that there was little cupboard space to put groceries in or even a bread bin. Also the house could do with a few different sized cooking dishes for when eating in and seeing as it’s a dog friendly home, maybe a few dog bowls would be helpful too.
Please understand this is not meant as a complaint, as we didn’t have anything to complain about it was all really wonderful.
On the last day, the hot water went off and the pressure in the boiler went down. Although it couldn’t be rectified whilst we were there, a maintenance man and plumber came out within a few hours to try and sort. We could manage well for the day as the showers are electric and it certainly didn’t cause any inconvenience.
We would highly recommend this property, it is so close to the centre of Abersoch and we certainly would love to come back again. Pippa 31.5-7.6.24
