The house is finished to a very high standard and has everything you need. Town is a 15 minute walk away as is the beach. The views are spectacular. We would definitely book again.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Glad you liked the house and views and hope you can stay again sometime. Property Owner

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Anchorage."

Super spacious and comfortable living and dining room and amazing views from all windows, equiped with everything you need. Really was a home from home, plus an amazing evening sun trap on the decking. Also a stunning view from the master bedroom and spacious bedrooms for the rest of the family with lovely decor and great storage. Everyone was really happy and we have re-booked for next summer. Thank you.

Thank you Joanne for such positive feedback. I am so glad you enjoyed The Anchorage and thank you for booking again next year. Property Owner

  • "Anchorage is a fantastic property, with everything we needed for our week's stay."

It was spotlessly clean and really comfortable, with spectacular views from both the front and back of the house. The only downside was that we hadn't realised how far it was into the town and the beach, not really walkable as the hill is quite steep. That said, though, it would not put us off booking Anchorage again, thoroughly recommended.

Thank you Pat for your feedback. I am glad you had a good stay at The Anchorage and enjoyed the views. It is 0.6 miles from the house to the centre of the village and the Harbour beach but I am glad the walk won't deter you from staying again. Property Owner

  • "Thanks for accommodating our last minute stay, we have had a wonderful week."

Lovely home that is well equipped and in an ideal location to reach the centre but also tucked away in a quiet area. Only feedback, we understand it is out of season but drying wet clothes/towels is difficult with no tumble dryer. We would 100% return and we have had a lovely first time in Abersoch.

We have to fit in our usual visit at porth Tocyn hotel for blueberry scones and cream. Thank you for the relaxing views and time to relax and read, also love the makeover in the twin bedroom so tasteful and smart.

  • "Hello. Lovely property and great views."

Lots of kitchen facilities and equipment. We had a wonderful week. Great to have an En suite! Shower room and bathroom. This is a great property. Garden good with nice outside seating and storage. Parking good Friends who were with me felt it was very cold on arrival .. this was early May and nights were cold to start. They were sleeping downstairs and there were instructions not to put the storage heaters on. Towels and washing was hard to dry. No towel rails in bathroom. Surprised to have to pay for bedding and bring own towels.

Thank you for your nice comments about The Anchorage, glad you thought it was a great property. Regarding the heating, the instructions suggest using storage heaters in the winter months as in warmer months, the house can be too warm during the day; this is why there are electric panel heaters in all the bedrooms. Bedding is now included in the price. Property Owner

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
