  • "Beautiful property with wonderful views."

Upon opening the front door, we realised we had arrived home and were visualising our own belongings in the house. It was spacious, clean and had a good feel to it. Our girls had already moved in, by dressing their room with toys, crafts and cuddly teddies. There is an easy stroll to local shops, pubs and a children's play area, which was very handy. There are steep steps up to the property, but if my mum can handle it, so can you, and my mum could trip over fresh air. The front garden was nicely kept, so much so, we released our newly emerged butterflies, where they enjoyed the juicy plum trees. To the rear there is a lovely patio area where we stayed most evenings. There could be a mirror in the downstairs bathroom or a washing machine to wash all those dirty clothes, but that's just picky, it was a truly awesome holiday and although we had fun on our day trips (yes, I'm now skint) I really loved coming back 'home' at the end of the day. I would recommend staying at this property and we will be coming back again soon.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your return visit. Sorry to hear about your mother but glad she was OK. Property Owner

  • "Lovely house, very clean, It is quite step intensive, but this is in the description, My 75 year old mother, found it a little hard going, but did manage with her stick."

We did find the kitchen lacking a few essential items, like scissors, and deep sided oven doses and baking trays, but we managed to improvise. And the small glass patio table, for a Kitchen table? Which only fits 4 people, the house sleeps 7, It feels like the house was rushed to get out on the holiday market, but isn’t quite there. But the main issue for us is the beds. The mattresses are very uncomfortable, when you move about you can hear and feel the bed springs moving, most of us never really got a descent nights sleep at all, and the lack of furniture in my bedroom especially ( small top bedroom) was a challenge. But it’s ok cause every room had a massive chair in it, which is just what you need, rather than a chest of drawers, or a wardrobe. All that said, it’s a lovely house, and with a bit more thought, it could be spot on. Oh yes, an extra shower over the bath would be a good idea too, one shower between 7 people just isn’t enough.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback and noting the house was very clean. We will ensure a mirror is added to the bottom shower room. The challenge was space due to the sink being in front of the window but will will look to address this with a face mirror at least. We have a separate dinning room which seats up to 10 people. The small table in the kitchen is just a good will gesture. Sorry to hear you did not have scissors or baking trays they should have been in the set of draws opposite the cooker. I will check this with the house keeping. I can assure you the property was not rushed and sorry you felt that way. The beds are high quality medium support to cater for all visitors. Property Owner

  • "A mirror in the downstairs bathroom would be handy."

Chest of drawers in the bedroom would also be a plus and wine glasses in the kitchen. Everything else was very good

Thank you for your comments and glad you felt the majority the accommodation was very good. We will seek to add a face mirror in the downstairs shower room. Wine glasses have already been added so thank you for bringing that to our attention. Property Owner
