Ty'n Lon

A lovely place for 3 generations over half term.

Beds - super comfy Kitchen, lounge and conservatory all really spacious and we loved hanging out in there and the beautiful garden. Kitchen could do with some tongs and we don't think the cleaners have cleaned the bottom of the little wicker chair for about a year or clean over eye level due to the amount of cobwebs and skinny spiders! Not a problem for us but I'd want to know if I was the home owner. I will happily write a very positive review if you want one without the spiders web mentions

The cottage was fantastic in all regards.

The beds and bedding were really comfortable, and the garden was also beautifully established with gorgeous views behind. Sarah was a very accommodating host and has clearly invested time and money in ensuring the cottage is more than adequately equipped with no expense spared (e.g. an extensive array of kitchen equipment, free Netflix account, Ecover cleaning products throughout, John Lewis crockery etc.). We’ll definitely be back next year!

Beautiful beautiful place to stay and so much attention to detail by the owners. It was pristine on arrival and warm and toasty! All the rooms are lovely and plenty of space . The garden is beautiful and you can see the Sea. Great places to visit . We will be back ! Thank you

A little piece of paradise.

Between the beautiful garden and the lovely cottage full of character. The separate annex is an excellent add. This place is the perfect place to stay, it is so comfortable and cosy. The most well equipped cottage I have stayed it. The short walk down to Lligwy beach is lovely any time of the day. Truly enjoyed our stay, the weather was a little unpredictable. But the cottage was so comfortable it didn’t matter.

We had a wonderful stay in August 2025 and can highly recommend the property - which was perfect for our needs - adults & kids alike.

It was extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly want or need - even down to a set of binoculars for spotting wildlife from the (lovely!) garden and a games room including pool, darts and table football. The owners went above and beyond to help us with a special request and the communication throughout was excellent. We loved it and would go back!

Less than 24hours into our stay, we booked again for a longer stay next year!

We have never done that before even though we have stayed in many lovely properties before. Why? Well firstly, the owners make you feel genuinely welcomed and that they genuinely want you to use the facilities to the full and have the best time that you possibly can have. Secondly, the property is beautifully and thoughtfully presented throughout, from the games chest to the rugs for your dogs to the strings of solar powered lights and lamps, the air fryer and two complete sets of eight place dinner service. Thirdly, as a three generation all adult family group, there was plenty of space and bathrooms for all! My MIL was absolutely delighted with her own little private garden room. And finally that garden!! Three levels of entertaining space, beautiful outdoor dining table for eight and colourful, interesting mature planting and even a view of the sea. The house, together with it's beautiful little village of Moelfre made it just the ideal place for us and we are looking forward to returning.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful location.

The kitchen and living room are large with plenty of space for 8 to sit and play games. The conservatory also seats 8-10 so you can eat in here too. Great for large families. The garden is large and secure for medium dogs and is laid out over three terraces with steps down to each layer. Lovely table and chairs, 2 loungers on the 2nd level and large parasol with a bbq for evenings out. We could just see the sea and enjoyed watching cruise ships sail by. Lovely walk across the fields to Lligwy beach (just under a mile) which is sandy and dog friendly. Definitely recommend.

Everyone in party of 6 plus dog enjoyed our break in Anglesey as the accommodation was great.

We loved the garden and the games room so although went out for walks and to the beach it was such a lovely place to come back to and spend time in. Location ideally situated near Lligwy beach.

Has great potential but now appears a bit tired.

Soft furnishings need professionally washed throughout as they are discolored and have a slight malodour (especially upstairs carpet and living room rug). Non-stick pans need replaced. Had to wash extractor fans over cooker due to grease build up. Cobwebs throughout. Family shower has slight delayed leak under wooden plinth. A couple of issues noted on arrival but owner fixed these straight away which is greatly appreciated. Garden is brilliant!

We stayed from the 11th to the 15th of April, for a birthday treat.

Four adults and a teenager. Easy to initially find from the email details and our phone maps, after that easy to get your bearings when out and about. We had one car so parking was good on the big drive. First impressions we all loved the property and it didn't disappoint on the inside or for our stay. Obtaining the key was easy and we all felt very comfortable straight away. The property was charming and clean, the large sofa's (great for movie nights) and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't end up using the summer house as we all wanted to be together in the main house but that would be a great addition for anyone staying. The large table in the conservatory was handy when it rained for A level revision and Degree course work plus eating together every evening. The information pack was very welcoming and we had everything in the house we could possibly need, we had no issues throughout our stay. We were lucky with the weather (it only rained for one day) and so we were also able to made the most of the beautiful tiered back garden and the view. The local beach is a short stroll of approx 15-20mins and it was quiet, which we enjoyed. Ty'n Lon is a great base for anywhere on Anglesey, we went to Red Wharf Bay, Beaumaris and Newborough to name a few. After our four nights we felt sad to leave! Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful cottage in a lovely peaceful setting.

The house and gardens are great. Kitchen is amazing and very generous size living room Very well equipped and comfortable. We had a fabulous time here as three generations of family and a dog was absolutely perfect for us. No one wanted to leave. Would have no hesitation going back there or recommending it to anyone else .

Our family have stayed at Ty'n lon twice now and we have had the perfect relaxing holiday both times.

Beautiful place for a big family get together.

Our parents have mobility issues and the downstairs on suite bedroom was perfect for them. Our youngest daughter and partner have a dog and the outside annex was perfect for them with us and our other daughter taking the other two bedrooms. Lovely stay

On arrival we opened the freezer to find it frozen solid - we were unable to open any of the drawers due to the thickness of the ice - also the back of the fridge had a large amount of ice although didn’t affect the function of the fridge.

Came with the family for a 70th birthday weekend.

Lovely house with plenty of space and a great location for getting around. The host was really accommodating. We had a great time, thank you!

Ty'n Lon is a lovely property just off the main road.

It was very comfortable and very spacious. The kitchen is large and plenty of room to cook in. The living area boasted very comfy sofas for reclining in and the garden is very sheltered and nice to sit in when the sun is out. Our dogs also appreciated being able to roam around the enclosed garden. The property is close to the beach and is very good base from which to explore other areas of Anglesey. The beds were also very comfy and provided a good night's sleep. All in all, a very pleasant stay and would have no problem recommending it. We shall look to book here again in the future

We booked this for a family weekend.

Unfortunately we found that there were maintenance issues which could not be resolved during our stay. this included a leaking shower, damp bedrooms, musty furniture and unheated summer house bedroom. It was incredibly disappointing but we could not stay in the house in this condition so we cancelled our family get-together and left. The owner told us that they were at the property until the day before we arrived, but our impression was that the maintenance, cleaning and gardening had been recently neglected.

Lovely cottage in a great location.

We were a party of 9 plus two dogs and there was plenty of room for us. Kitchen has all the equipment you would ever need. The conservatory/dining room was great for meals & playing games in the evening and the bedrooms all have comfortable feather duvets and pillows. The garden was really beautiful with sea views. Nice to watch the birds and hear the woodpecker drumming the tree every morning. During the summer months it would be nice to sit out and relax but a bit cold and wet during our stay. Our two dogs loved it! Just three points I would like to make though - 1. The bedrooms are a lot smaller than in the photos and you have to shuffle round bottom of bed 2. The “games room” is just a pool/air hockey table and dart board in a dirty dusty garage - this could be a fantastic space it just needs some TLC 3. When cooking a meal we found the grill pan full of fat from the previous holiday maker which is really off putting and presumably the cleaning team had overlooked We would definitely recommend this cottage and we all really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future Wendy & Family

We were a party of 8 with 1 dog and couldn't have been more comfortable.

A lovely clean well maintained cottage with a wonderful garden and views, within easy access of amenities. Our only wish was that we could stay for longer.

The property was very comfortable and the setting was beautiful.

Plenty to do and see in the surrounding area so a truly lovely place for a holiday.

Lovely relaxing location.

Great location for local Beaches. Simply a really good break …just right to ‘turn off’ and recharge your batteries.

Beautifully sighted cottage, perfectly located near Moelfre.

Large living area with a beautiful log burner which was very cosy in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped we bought items which we thought we would need but didnt in the end as the kitchen was so well equipped. Bedrooms were made up and helped having en-suites. The bedrooms look a lot bigger on the pictures and could do with a bit a repaint. We found it very unusual the check in time was so late. The place hadn't been hoovered properly as there was so much stuff left on the floor and so many cob webs. The games room was a bit of a let down as it was in the garage at the front of the property in a dingy garage. In the description it did say there was an air hockey table, there wasnt one! Had a great time with family.

Very large but "old" cottage and comfortable.

Well equipped - provide teapot "cosy"? Clean and well-being maintained. Is it worthwhile mentioning Septic tank. No detriment to us - tho could put some people off who do not know about such things? The entry time of 5pm is much later than normal. Usually 1 or 2 pm, but that was pre-Covid, so this might not be now attainable. We treated the property like our own, some people do not!

Great , well situated accommodation for our family group of 5 adults, 2 small children and 2 dogs .

Plenty of space for us all and good to have three bathrooms.and the garage games facility. Beautiful garden area , just a shame the weather didn’t enable to use it as much as we would have liked . A small detail but the only thing we missed in the kitchen was a casserole dish suitable to make lasagne and the like but otherwise well equipped . We would definitely recommend the property to other people.

The photos on the website could do with updating as the bedroom are not as new and fresh looking as per website.

Also the garden could do with tidying up a bit.

Location was perfect with beaches very close and lively pub in walking distance. All information in welcome pack helped us greatly. The property was spotless. Beds and bedding high quality. Lovely homely touches. Great outdoor space. Very well equipped kitchen. Thank you so much.

The best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in

Fabulous, comfy, clean, spacious, everything we could have wanted.

Lovely cottage close to Lligwy beach.

Owner was very communicative and had the property ready earlier than suggested which was a bonus. Very clean and the beds/ bedding/ pillows were superb, best we’ve ever had. Kitchen very well equipped and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Garden is lovely and very secure for dogs, even for ours who are very inquisitive and love to wander. There is a bedroom/ bathroom in the summerhouse which we didn’t use but again very clean. Would definitely come again.

Ty’n Lon is an extremely comfortable cottage for a large group.

It has been thoughtfully equipped with good quality bedding and kitchen utensils. The cottage was clean, warm and welcoming and all necessary cleaning products were supplied to keep it that way. The very pretty garden is secure for dogs. The photos don’t really do the garden justice as it is well laid out and stocked with interesting plants and cosy places to sit and enjoy the sunshine and views. Although quite muddy, (use wellies if it’s been rainy), the footpath to the beach is just round the corner and easy to follow. We really had a super stay so thank you very much.

We did not get here until after 7 as traffic was pretty bad. However, it was a delight to arrive at your lovely cottage. It is perfect for all of us and the little ones are still playing and exploring your lovely garden. It is all just lovely and tell Kath and Julie they must have worked like trojans as immaculately clean and fresh smelling.
