  • "Spent Easter weekend with family at this absolute little Gem!"

Very comfortable with Wonderful views!! Only downside which isn’t a property issue was the cleaner waiting outside at 9.30 to come in and clean!! Then heading off again and returning at 9.50!! Shame she didn’t just turn up at 10am - as we are were always going to be ready to leave on time!!

Dear Spibey Family, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We apologise for the cleaner’s early arrival and ensure the cleaning company will be made aware of the inconvenience to you. We hope you return to our ‘little piece of heaven’ soon, The Bywaters Property Owner

  • "Overall great property."

Beds were comfy and the house was overall well equipped. Lovely light and airy living room. Room for improvement: need a coffee maker and oven gloves, sofas were comfy to curl up on but too deep to sit on properly.

Appreciate your lovely comments and suggestion for improvements, we have added them to our shopping list. Hope you return and enjoy them soon. Many thanks, The Bywaters. Property Owner

Enjoying a peaceful location whilst enjoying close proximity to the delights on offer in the Llŷn Peninsula, Pen Y Sarn makes for a wonderful base for a family of six.

Enter the property to immediately find yourself in the utility, where you can take off your shoes and throw any sandy clothes into the washing machine.

Continue to the bright and airy kitchen/diner, a room enjoying a high ceiling and tasteful decoration; the kitchen enjoys stylish fittings and fantastic appliances, including an American-style fridge/freezer and a five-ring hob.

Dinner can be enjoyed at the close-by dining table, or out in the rear garden’s octagonal summer house, with ample bench seating for all.

About the location

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
