  • "This place is an absolute bargain."

It’s got all the amenities you need, is very clean and really cosy. There are some extra lovely little touches….toiletries in bathroom and extra towels for the hot tub. The owners are next door and are happy to answer any questions. The location is perfect, not far from coast and 15 mins to snowdon. There is a local pub and a small Morrisons less than a mile in distance. We stayed Monday to Friday and had a brilliant time with friends. Would highly recommend, we have no complaints and would 100% stay here again.

In a quiet area with lovely views. This is the best I’ve ever stayed in. If you want accommodation and see this then I advise you snap it up! It’s a great base to visit many places. Do use the Pub The Newborough Arms it’s under new management and is a gorgeous Pub, great food at amazing prices and the staff are amazing and freindly.

  • "The cottage is like home from home."

Very well equipped for a self catered holiday base. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, it was so nice not to wake up with back ache like we normally do on holiday!! When you look on the map you think there’s not a lot in close proximity, but as long as you have a car, there is huge amounts of paid activities to do in under an hours drive. There are just as many free activities to do, with stunning scenery the coastline, hills and lakes to visit. The hot tub was an added bonus to the holiday, great sitting watching bats in the dusky evening with resident owls hooting in the background, relaxing your hard walked muscles in the warm water. For our first stay in North Wales, Tyddyn Parthle was a great find, and we will have no hesitation in returning or recommending the property. The owners are easily contactable should you require anything, if you’re used to self catering then this is definitely one for your family to stay in. We will be back.

It is set in a superb part of the Welsh countryside, up a quiet single track road on the owners farm. Mr and Mrs Ellis the owners, very friendly and checked to see we had everything we needed. The log burner hot tub, was something we had never experienced before, but easy to use and took about 3-4 hours to get to temperature, but stayed warm for a few days. We definitely would not hesitate to return. Thanks to the Owners.

The information folder was out of date and lacked information, also their landline phone number was incorrect .One of the recommended venues for food/drinks had been closed for at least a year . The garden could also do with more comfortable furniture so that guests could take full advantage of the grounds . The beds were extremely comfortable for the three of us, however, it would be a tight squeeze for six even four adults and two children .

  • "Thanks so much for a fantastic summer holiday!"

Tyddyn Parthle is a wonderful, peaceful place to stay, within easy travelling distance of the Llŷn Peninsula, Snowdonia mountains, Anglesey and also local supermarkets. This spacious house has plenty of room, with large a kitchen, separate dining room, comfortable lounge, two double bedrooms, smaller bunkbed room, bathroom, two toilets, a constant supply of hot water and good WiFi. It is well decorated and a pleasure to spend time in. It is situated half a mile out out of Bontnewydd and is very quiet – a real getaway. We found it the perfect base to get us to a variety of different places – (Beddgelert 25 ins, Aberdaron 50 minutes, Newborough beach, Anglesey 40 mins). The Tesco superstore is only eight minutes’ drive and there’s a Morrisons a few minutes further again. In the house, the bedrooms all feel large, light and airy, but are slightly lacking in storage space. We found ourselves using the wardrobe in one room and the drawers in another. The kitchen is equipped with a fantastic triple oven with gas hob, proper fridge-freezer, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and two kettles (one gas). If you’re bringing a large group, a bit of careful rearrangement of the cupboards should mean you can fit all of your food somewhere. I’d also suggest taking your own utensils just to make sure you have exactly what you need for the cooking you intend to do. Outside, there are two lawned areas and plenty of places to sit, including picnic table and large bistro-style table (for several people). The owners live next door and they’re really lovely people who’d do almost anything for you if you ask. The couple of times we did ask them for things, they were extremely prompt and very helpful. I’d certainly consider staying here again and would highly recommend it to others.

  • "Enjoyed our stay at Tyddyn Parthle."

Well equipped, clean property in a good location for plenty of different activities - even with coronavirus restrictions. Perhaps should note in the description that access is a little way up a single track road with few passing places, however was in a lovely quiet location but still nearby for a decent village shop to pick up essentials. Owners welcoming and on hand if anything was needed. If you are staying in the area would also recommend you try out The Gourmet Burger Trailer which visits the village on a Wednesday and Villa Marina in Caernarfon.

  • "Great location to explore surrounding countryside and the towns of Conwy, Caernarfon, Porthmadog - all new to us."

The cottage was peaceful and no light pollution so we slept well. The beds were comfortable and kitchen and reception rooms spacious. The nearest shop and pub were a 15 - 20 mins walk rather than 5mins as stated in the details, but we were well served with the main supermarkets at Caernarfon so good for stocking up groceries - we prefer to cook our own meals rather than go out to eat so basic kitchen equipment is important to us .Country walks just up the lane from the house and would have explored this area more if we had had time. Altogether a most enjoyable holiday.

  • "The renovations to the cottage are excellent."

They give a very modern feel to the cottage. Everything works well; heating, shower(excellent) etc. Only one small point, the washing machine was very noisy. Overall this is a magical place. The owner lives adjoining the cottage and they were very welcoming. I have recommended this cottage to members of my family. The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and the wonderful island of Anglesey.

  • "Accommodation was on a quiet lane in a rural setting."

We found the location for national trust properties and general attractions within Snowdonia ideal The owner introduced himself shortly after arrive and was very friendly and accommodating. The property was in good condition through out and spacious for 3 adults a five year old. The only minor negative was the lane which we had to drive down was having repairs which made it sometimes awkward due to only a few passing areas from property to main road. But all in all I would still recommend and stay again.
