Tucked away in acharming settlement just east of Llanrug in Gwynedd, rests the charming, three-bedroom holiday caravan of Tyn Clwt.
With garden space, tastefully-appointed living spaces, a fantastic position close to amenities and the Eryri National Park, this tasteful property welcomes a family or group of six for a relaxing, self-catered escape to North Wales.
Step into your new home-from-home and make yourself comfortable by sticking the kettle on for a cup of tea as you prepare a meal in the well-equipped kitchen.
Savour your home-cooked dinners with your loved ones in the dining area, before you kick back and relax on the corner sofas in the sitting space, where you can catch up on the day's events or plan the rest of your getaway.
As day rolls into night, treat yourself to a refreshing shower on your way to hunker down for a much-needed rest in one of the three inviting bedrooms.
When you're ready the next day, set out to explore what your local surroundings have to offer.
The shortest of car drives will bring you into Llanrug, where you can stock up on essentials at the SPAR or Co-Op, before you sit down to enjoy a traditional pub lunch at the Y Glyntwrog Inn or the Penbont Inn.
For a full day out, head west to Caernarfon, where you can spend time roaming the battlements of the 13th-century Caernarfon Castle and the idyllic setting of Pier Landerne, or even practice your golf swing at the Caernarfon Golf Club.
Just across the peaceful Menai Strait, you can also visit the Pili Palas Nature World, the Anglesey Sea Zoo, and the Plas Newydd House and Gardens for a truly special day out in beautiful Anglesey.

We had the most incredible and relaxing holiday.
The caravan is very cosy and has everything you could possibly need and it was extremely homely. The view is incredible and the dogs loved having a run round in a secure garden. Eleri and Glyn were wonderful and could not do enough for us. Lovely clean caravan and well maintained by the owners.
Cosy little garden enclosure ideal for your dog whilst safe from escaping when they’re outside.The hosts Glyn and Eleri were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.We would happily recommend this property and would stay there again

The caravan and the location was lovely the views from the windows were stunning and the outside space in warmer weather would of been amazing.
Unfortunately it was quite damp and wet so the heating in the caravan late on after 10pm wasn't warm enough we were sat with blankets around us. The hospitality of the couple were so lovely and welcoming would go back again in warmer weather
Considering the fantastic summer that we've had weatherwise, you were very unlucky with the weather whilst staying at Tyn Clwt. I agree that it was damp and wet outside but I can assure you that the caravan is not damp at all inside. The heating can be controlled by the guests and even when the caravan is vacant we leave the heating on to keep the caravan aired. We've had no complaints at all about the caravan and were very surprised by your review, considering that we've had guests staying during our cold winter weather with no issues whatsoever. Possibly your review was based as a result of your own health issues. As owners strive to ensure that every guest's stay is pleasurable and comfortable.
The accommodation was super clean, and everything we needed was there.
The location is perfect for exploring North Wales. The owners were very helpful, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back again!

It's well equipped and set in a beautiful location. It has a beautiful garden and is close to many local attractions. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

This was such a lovely place to relax in and explore from.
It's secluded, with beautiful views and a lovely outside area but close enough to everything you want to get to in North Wales. It's situated on the hosts property but very private and they have a great balance between leaving you to get on with your holiday and being on hand to oblige with anything you might need or want . . . they've thought of everything!

The accommodation is well kept extremely clean and modernised.
The owners cannot do enough to for the guests. The garden is immaculate and a brilliant place to chill out. Very dog safe also. There is a brilliant sun trap at the lower patio area. Would recommend this place to anyone.

A lovely cosy caravan.
I've stayed in many self catering places, and this was the best equipped kitchen I have ever come across! The owners were lovely, and we really appreciated them turning up the heating for us with the typical ever changing British weather. Thank you x

Absolutely fantastic property.
There were 5 of us and dog so it was snug, but everything was just as we were expecting - except for the hosts and view which both far exceeded our expectations! Glyn & Eleri were incredibly welcoming & sweet - they treated us to homemade Welsh cakes, and gave us a small parting gift. When one of my friends asked if they had a cafetiere for our morning coffee, they didn't, but they went and BOUGHT ONE. Just for us. 11/10 would recommend to anyone.

Superb individual holiday property in a quiet location with lovely country views.
Internally the property was immaculately presented, spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen area. Externally the garden area is well laid out and again immaculately presented with ample parking space within the property. For us the location was ideal because it provided an excellent base to visit most popular places, whether coastal or inland. Our hosts, Glyn and Eleri, are lovely people that made us most welcome on arrival and throughout the whole of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them, if we needed anything. Overall this property was a great choice and we would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone. A final thank you to Glyn, Eleri and Felix the cat !!

This is a great place in lovely surroundings.
The hosts, Glyn and Eleri were fantastic and so welcoming. The location is very close to everywhere, whilst at the same time being tucked away in quiet nature. All of us were very sad when it was time to leave.
So glad you enjoyed your stay and that the children had a great time. Their love towards our pets was clear to see. We loved the message that they wrote to us in pebbles, it was really touching. Ideally need to a car to explore the area well. Good place to stay if you have a dog because of the enclosed garden and has some fantastic views.

This has been such a wonderful, peaceful & relaxing stay in the most beautiful countryside - on a good day you can see the top of Snowdon, but even if not, the scenery is glorious.
A really lovely, thoughtful welcome pack and card awaited my arrival, together with such clean and comfortable accommodation. That bed was soooo relaxing and the best nights sleep I have had for ages!. Everything was well thought out and provided for both humans and dogs. The hosts are truly lovely and really care about your stay being the best it can be. The garden is just perfect, with plenty of outdoor places to sit as well as being that great area for the dog to sniff around and enjoy. Not forgetting the ideal secure parking right by the accommodation which is solely for the visitors use. I can not fault Tyn Clwt and the lovely owners, and will be booking again for myself and my dog. Whether you want to explore, walk or just stay in and relax this is perfect.

The caravan is so comfortable and well kept. We were blessed with wonderful weather and enjoyed the garden and outdoor space. Glyn and Eleri are the perfect hosts, fresh tomatoes and cucumber were a treat! Greenwood is great for kids under 10, our 15 year old enjoyed it too. Newborough beach is one of the best in the UK!
A wonderful break in a stunning place.
The outdoor space is brilliant, especially for the kids. Lots of storage to keep the place tidy. Glyn & Eleri were perfect hosts! The little touches were very thoughtful! Pili Palas great for kids, ours are 11,11 and 9. Hiking Snowdon was stunning - you can get the bus to Pen-y-Pass from Llanberis easily!

Comfortable, cosy caravan kept immaculately clean with all you need in a beautiful setting and the most lovely garden area. Eleri & Glyn are kind & friendly hosts - we've enjoyed our chats & thank you so much for your generosity! We really enjoyed a couple of meals at Felinheli, visiting Lake Padarn, the beaches of Criccieth & easy access to Anglesey. Plenty of places to visit & enjoy and a really good base.
