The cottage was clean and had everything you could need.

The beds and sofa were comfortable and outdoor chairs had a lovely view over fields and hills.It is ideally situated in a quiet location but close to beaches and shops.We loved our stay here and will definitely be staying again

We had a wonderful stay here.

The garden and cottage were lovely, just like in the photos, if not better. If you like peace and quiet then i would highly recommend staying here. Very good location too. We will definitely be returning

We found the setting lovely if not a little difficult to find.

The lake was a bonus and nice for a walk. Little disappointed there was no tea towels or dishwasher tablets provided, luckily we had packed tea towels but had to ask the very nice owner Dewie for the dishwasher tablets.

Comfortable and well equipped house in quiet country location.

We seldom go to the same place twice but the visitor book records lots of repeat bookings.

Cottage very comfortable and in a pleasant setting.

Dewi welcomed us on the first day. Places to visit in the area easily accessible even on those very narrow roads! Had a very good week there. Can recommend the cottage for relaxing time and especially if you like fishing!

We had an amazing 5 days at Llain Fadarn, the beautiful quaint cottage has everything you need for a cosy, comfortable stay.

Kitchen is fully equipped and the shower is brilliant. The bonus for us is the beautiful private fishing lake. We spent everyday sat looking at the beautiful scenery and fishing for some excellent Carp, frequently catching some quality fish up to 18lbs in weight. Dewi the owner and his wife visited the lake each evening to feed the fish and chickens, a lovely and very friendly couple. The cottage is in a great position, not far to Criccieth, Abadaron and Nefyn which we visited regularly. A beautiful part of the coast and the weather was fabulous. We will definitely book this place again.

Has every thing you need for a restful holiday. Fishing lake fantastic. Full of carp. Spent many an hour fishing. Will stay again.

A warm and friendly welcome from Dewi the owner. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Plenty to do in the surrounding area: exploring the local villages, walking, bird spotting and fishing on sight. We’ve had a holiday to remember, hopefully we’ll return one day. Thank you.

10-17 May 2025: Our second visit to this lovely cottage!

It has every comfort and is in a beautiful quiet location….the garden looks out on to a field of sheep and the “mountain” - just stunning! The enclosed garden was fantastic for our two Border Terriers. The weather was incredible all week so we didn’t really want to leave! Visited Abersoch and Aberdaron, Pwllheli marina and Porthdinllaen(but you have to cross the golf course to get there!) It is a very beautiful area and we were given a lovely welcome by the owner/ farmer. We will definitely be coming back!

A well appointed cottage with all that we needed for a self catering relaxing break.

Dewi was most welcoming, friendly and informative. I wished we were into fishing as the lake looked great. The floating crocodile amused us and our granddaughters who were in Florida at the time.

Lovely peaceful cosy cottage.

An ideal position for exploring all the hidden coves and beaches dotted along the coast of the Lynn Peninsular. There is no local shop or pub so you do need to drive out to get supplies but not a problem for us. Our first time in this part of Wales and we found plenty of places to visit during our week stay.

The fishing lake is a gem! Quiet and well stocked with large carp.

we had a lovely 3 day stay at the cottage - it is just enough off the beaten track to enjoy the beauty and peace of its location whilst being a short drive to Morfa beach - the cottage was of a very high standard with quality décor and furnishings - would definitely stay again.

Shower was fab, underfloor heating was bliss, lake was great carp up to 20lb. Night sky was awesome bringing telescope next time. Great central location to get to places. Great beaches great walks. Our dogs loved it . garden was secure for them. We were so cosy with log burner . Owner's had thought of everything will definitely be returning. Thanks for a great holiday

The place looked gorgeous and the owner was very nice.

Over all we were very happy with the property and the stay. The property was lovely and in a very quiet place. Few minor issues to improve: the bathroom needed proper cleaning, the shower unit wasn't clean, the knives should be replaced, we struggled to cut food with them, both mattresses in the upstairs bedroom need replacing as dipped and not comfortable, it would be nice to have light around the fence in the garden, we couldn't see our dogs. Everything else was great.

Spotlessly clean and welcoming, log burner a real bonus (You will need to take logs with you) Beaches amazing, walks and views simply stunning. Carn Fadryn behind cottage is well worth a visit especially on a clear day!! Cannot fault this cottage, a week just wasn't long enough!! We will be back!! ☺️

We had a wonderful week at Llain Fadarn.

The cottage was delightful and is so well place to enjoy the Llyne peninsula and surrounding areas. The area is peaceful, tranquil and beautiful to behold. The owners are local and very helpful and friendly and the cottage was well appointed for our needs. To add to the ease of finding the cottage we would recommend adding the "what three words" location, we found "///woof.eylashes.emeralds" was, like the cottage, perfect.

We love this cottage, hence we return every year.

The cottage is in a beautiful setting. Peaceful, loads of wild life with sheep and cattle just over the fence of the back garden. There are lots of walks, our favourite is venture up the mountain just behind the cottage. The cottage is very sheltered, it can be windy on other places on the Lyn yet you don't feel it here. Its very well equipped, the all important wifi works brilliantly. Further away from the cottage there are plenty of places to visit, look on the map and take your pick. Loads of small coves to be discovered along the coastal path and a decent pint to be found at Porth Dinllaen.

Perfect cottage, stunning views.

If you like your holiday home quiet, listening to birds and wildlife this is the place for you. Star gazing and listening to the owls and foxes, watching the bats. The garden is shared with next door but there wasn't anyone booked while we were there so we had it all to ourselves. The dogs had a great time too. We will definitely return to explore more of the area. The fishing lake was a highlight for my husband.

Was really cool in the hot weather due to thick stone walls. Beautifully restored cottage and very peaceful location. Really enjoyed the week.

We were looking for a quiet relaxing holiday.

The accomodation was faultless, cosy and very clean. The location was beautiful to say the least. Although we used it as a base to see Wales. I could have easily stayed there all week without going out. The views were spectacular and the owners were wonderful people. Quiet and very tranquil. Loved it !

We have just returned from a lovely holiday at Llain Fadran cottage.

This comfortable dog friendly cottage was scrupulously clean and well equipped. It is set in fabulous countryside, by a small lake with plenty of walks straight from the door. We were very lucky with the weather and took the opportunity to explore the many fabulous beaches and coastal walks of the LLyn Peninsula. We highly recommend Llain Fadran and would not hesitate to return when we next holiday in North Wales. Thank you Dewi and Eirlys.

This is a very comfortable, nicely furnished and well presented cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location.

The kitchen facilities are excellent for anyone who wishes to truly self cater and the stove in the sitting room was very efficient. I enjoyed my week very much. Special thanks to Dewi and Eirlys for their kindness and helpfulness.
