Long House

Thank you, we enjoyed our week at Long house.

Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We had great fun exploring the local countryside and beach, excellent walks. The pool table was a hit with our sixteen year old, and we all improved our game. We did miss a welcome package. This has been a highlight when visiting other holiday properties. A bottle of milk, bread and a packet of biscuits etc.are always very nice.

This is the best equipped cottage we’ve stayed at and the kitchen is gorgeous.

Having the board games, the books, the radio in the kitchen and the dishwasher/washing machine tablets were all a nice touch.

My son, his partner, myself and our dog had a good stay 16 to 30/05/2025.

The place is comfortable, clean, peaceful and well situated. It is provisioned very well (culinary/cooking, linen, entertainment, heating). We enjoyed ourselves and had a much needed break away. I am mobility impaired in my lower back, legs and feet. I'd urge the owners to consider the following quality of life improvements: Grab bars and a shelf to hold shampoo, etc., in the shower (there are none - though the walk-in shower is very good) More non-slip mats in the bathroom (only one non-slip bath mat available on our stay) Grab bars to help on and off toilets Grab bars/rails on stairs (the banister railing is flush with the landing spindles half way up the stairs) an extra step to supplement the deep step from the lounge into the pool room Overall though I'd very much recommend the cottage.

We had a fantstic stay at the holiday home.

It was a beautiful house and we'll presented and obviously loved by its owners. There was nothing we needed for a evening meal that wasn't provided. Beds were very comfortable and bedrooms were beautiful. My faverate feature was the kitchen and garden. Beautiful holiday and we would love to go back soon.

Lovely cottage, didn’t want to come home and will definitely be returning!

Everything we needed was provided facility wise, we stopped on the way to the cottage to get some food in for breakfast ect. as we noticed there were no shops nearby. There is a beach though which we had a lovely little walk to on our last morning! We especially loved the pool table and the board games that were provided. One thing I would mention is the small step when entering the property through the pool room, and the large step down into the living room area, we fell on these a few times as there are no sign posts to remind us of them. Luckily no harm done :)

lovely cottage very spacious, been before.

However NO TUMBLE DRYER!! we only had clothing for a few days. so to have the tumble dryer removed is quite hard to wash clothing on rainy days.(perhaps a rotary dryer is better than none at all.

We had the most wonderful time in this beautiful home from home.

Very clean on arrival, and the house was well equipped with everything you could need for a perfect stay. Was easy to cook family meals in the kitchen as it had every pot/pan/utensil you could need-important when trying to save a bit of money by not eating out every night! We would happily stay again in the future-thank you for a lovely holiday!

House was lovely and in beautiful surroundings.

We enjoyed our stay here and would book again. Owner was very helpful and easily contactable.

The property was described as a short 10 minute walk to the beach,which it was but down a very narrow,bendy road ,tried it once with the dog but decided too risky so drove down instead .

we went through the field but still had to walk on the road so slightly misleading .

A lovely, clean, roomy property.

Good location with lots to do nearby. Perfect for dogs with a secure garden and a gorgeous beach just ten minutes walk away. We will definitely book this house again.

A warm, cosy cottage with comfortable beds, nice hot shower, great amenities & a pool table!

Perfect location for a quiet break but never too far from towns/beaches etc. We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage

A beautiful house in a stunning location, comfortable beds, fantastic shower, beautiful gardens to relax in, and we all had fun each night with a game of pool.

We had a lovely stay at The Long House.

The location is peaceful and secluded. The kitchen was very well equipped and the shower room very well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was good quality; everyone slept very well! The Games Room and Conservatory were an added bonus and it was nice to have a private, fully enclosed garden.
