We have had a lovely holiday at The Cottage at Ty Newydd.
It is clean, well equipped and has stunning views over the mountains on the Welsh mainland. A peaceful and quiet location which is convenient for visiting all areas of Anglesey and the mainland too. This is our third time in the last six months of visiting Ty Newydd Cottage, for a peaceful and relaxing stay it cannot be beaten, magnificent views of the mountains of Eryi (Snowdon) and if you have furry friends a large enclosed paddock is available to them.
everything needed for an enjoyable stay is there in the cottage, Helen and David are great hosts and are always on hand if needed...The cottage is also a great location to visit the Isle of Anglesey with its magnificent beaches and Stateley home and gardens.
What more can I say that I haven't said before. Another great big thank you for your positive comments.

Thank you for your feedback. Having contacted Helen to ask why facilities was 75% It was because the carving knife was blunt, the grater needed replacing, a cracked jug was left by previous guests. These have all been replaced. The shower head above the bath is hand held, and not a full shower.as she thought.

The cottage at Ty Newydd didn't disappoint.
It is very well appointed with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Everything was user friendly, from getting onto the Internet to using the TV and the cooker. Helen, the owner, met us on arrival and was super-friendly and helpful. We were left a lovely welcome pack and extras such as dog towels and a bowl, which were a real bonus. There is a lovely sunny seating area overlooking Helens's pretty garden, and our dog enjoyed having the field to run around in. We would definitely like to return to this cottage. The only negative was Sykes' rather ambiguous directions, which should be reviewed. I would also recommend not using sat nav from Brynsiecyn. Otherwise, you risk getting lost in a maze of narrow country lanes.

4th time of visiting this cottage, always exceptionally clean, beautiful surroundings, great hosts, and ideal if you have a four legged friends, good size field for them to run around in.

Helen and Dave made us feel very welcome from the minute we walked into The Cottage.
The Welcome pack was lovely and plentiful (the Bara Brith was excellent). The dog field was an absolute joy for our dog - she was able to exercise first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Ty Newydd is in a great location for exploring east and west Ynys Mon, with excellent coastal walking within minutes of The Cottage. Diolch yn fawr Helen and Dave

We had a wonderful stay at this holiday cottage.
Helen, the owner, provides exceptional hospitality and had thoughtfully equipped the cottage with everything you could possibly need. We have stayed in many self catering holiday homes and this was certainly one of the most comfortable we have ever been in. It truly felt like a home from home. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The location as well as the cottage is perfect for families, with plenty of activities and attractions a short drive away. The cottage was comfortable, welcoming, and an ideal base for exploring the area. We would highly recommend it and would love to return in the future.

Your more than welcome, I can only imagine how stressful it was when your SatNav wasn't working properly, I was glad to be of help. maybe the Sat Nav might have worked better if the house name Ty Newydd was inputed as well as the post code, as in this area there are several houses with the same code. I hope you arrived home safely.

Had a lovely 11 night stay at The Cottage.
Helen & David are wonderful hosts and suggested places to visit and eat that we didn’t know of. One of them being The Gazelle on the Menai Strait. We had a delicious meal there with great views and friendly staff. Izzy dog loved having her own field to play in. The separate utility was great for drying dog towels and shoes after being at the beach. Hootons farm shop just down the provided us with delicious pies packed full of Welsh meat. especially the steak one. The cottage itself has beautiful views of the mountains beyond the fields of sheep and is a relaxing retreat. Everything you can think of is provided and the amazing welcome basket a delight and much appreciated. Especially the milk as I had forgotten to bring it and we are now all big fans of Welsh cakes. Thank you very much Helen & David for a wonderful stay in your relaxing and cosy cottage. We hope to return again soon.

Right from the start, Helen went out of her way to make us feel most welcome.
With thoughtful little extras such as a personalised welcoming message handwritten on a blackbord and small decorative basket adorned with a water bowl and couple of towels for our dog just inside the front door. Teddy loved his field, by the way. The cottage itself was very cosy and quiet, ideally situated in the middle of the countryside privding easy access to the rest of Anglesea and the mainland. I cannot recommend it highly enough. My only complaint was with Sykes, (not a refelection on the owner of the property) who, rather than allowing us to enjoy our holiday, were more interested to trying to get us to promote their business by leaving a review right after our first night there, before we had even had a chance to form an opinion. Needless to say, I ignored it, prefering to wait until our holiday was over.

We left the cottage yesterday after 4 days of beautiful weather.
Helen and Dave were so lovely and provided us with a welcome pack that was greatly appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The cottage was very clean, tidy and cosy and had the most comfortable bed. The views from the dining room were glorious, a pleasure to wake up to. Helen has created a beautiful garden and with a secure expanse of field for our golden retriever to run around in, it was a joy to be outside. The cottage is a short walk or drive from the local village containing a shop, pub, fish and chips/kebab shop, although we didn't try these. We will definitely look at visiting again in the future Thanks again Helen and Dave.

Helen the owner is a lovely lady who is there if you need her, but let's you get on to do your own thing. The cottage is lovely and well furnished,we had everything we needed and the welcome pack was great.

The Cottage is a little dated but perfect for what we wanted for a lazy weekend break.
Absolutely everything you would need is available to use, a home from home. Cosy wood burner for the evenings watching TV, with lots of channels to choose from. Lovely welcome pack, gratefully received... Super nearby paddock for exercising the hound, although I used the wrong one, sorry!!!.... Highly recommended, we will be back if we return to Anglesey.....

The owner Helen was welcoming and very helpful with giving us ideas of where to visit and local walks with the dog. The cottage was very homely and we will be visiting again.

Having spent 5 nights at the Cottage with my wife and dog, I found the accommodation excellent and extremely well equipped.
One minor issue was an overly soft mattress on the double bed. Other than that. everything was great and I would highly recommend the cottage. I intend to return in the summer months when hopefully, the weather is much better.
It's a shame you did not mention your problem with the mattress to me. As the mattress topper could have been removed, and made the mattress harder. I will make sure when you come back next year that this matter will be resolved.
Our first impression of the Ty Newydd Cottage was of amazement ate the cleanliness and tidyness of the interior.
Nothing was out of place, and outside, the garden, enclosed patio and sitting bench were equally immaculate. Some may find the decor a little dated, but suited my wife and I, and was very Helen, the owner. We were as equally impressed by Helen

The Cottage at Ty Newydd what a beautiful place.
Spotless inside and out, wonderful location with something for everyone. Short stroll to a lovely little village, shop, nice pub and the best fish and chip shop I have ever been to, the location is ideal for beaches, amenities and lovely walks. The cottage itself lacks nothing, if you stay for a weekend or a month you will not want for anything. Will definitely go back, thank you for a lovely break in your wonderful home Helen.

A wonderful cottage in an idyllic setting and perfectly situated to explore the picturesque island of Anglesey and North Wales.

A lovely, cosy cottage that has everything you need for a wonderful stay!
I especially enjoyed the tranquil mornings at the dining room table- the view is very picturesque with sheep, rabbits and a variety of birds making an appearance. The location itself is perfect for exploring North Wales and we managed to cram in lots of activities in the one week we stayed here. Helen, the owner, is incredibly friendly and accomodating. I had no problems reaching her and she was always quick to respond to any queries sent via email. We look forward to staying here again and highly recommend it as the perfect base to explore North Wales from.

The cottage well what can I say every thing was so spotlessly clean with a warm homely feeling to it it is top notch the views from the dinning room and bedroom windows is just explicid You can sit for hours just gazing out The cottage has every thing you would need super fast WiFi myself my wife and our fur baby (dog] just loved it here One of them holiday breaks you don't want to end I just wanted to pick it up to take home with me Helen has obviously really worked hard in making sure you do have an experience that will always stay with you and myself and my wife will be back for more of ty Newydd cottage that's for sure
