  • "An amazing holiday."

We loved it! The cottage was a home away from home. Jane made beautiful welcome cakes and bakes which was a lovely personal touch. The house is located in the most perfect position to get to the mountains, towns and coast. There is also a lot of opportunity to walk from the house, which we loved with the dog. The cottage is so homely and relaxing, it feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. What a fab place to stay!

The cottage is well maintained, clean, tidy, as everything you possibly need, it was handy having a toilet outside which was clean and handy to use if any one was using the shower or bath, having a pet had the freedom outside the property and you sun all day long

  • "We loved this property, which is ideally situated to visit so many attractions."

Very quiet with super comfy beds for a good nights sleep. Jane had laid out a selection of home bakes for our arrival which went down very well, she is a superb baker and her Welsh Cakes were especially delicious. We would have no hesitation in booking again. P.S. Stunning Sunsets as well.

This pet-friendly home enjoys a garden to host alfresco dining in the warmer months and offers private parking for two cars.

Step inside to be greeted by the entrance hallway; here you can store your shoes and coats, ready for a countryside ramble next day.

On your right, you will find a double bedroom, with tasteful furniture to house your items, where you can enjoy a restful relaxation.

Moving through the home, locate the open-plan living space, hosting two plush sofas so you can unwind with a cup of tea and flick through the Smart TV.

The shaker-style kitchen offers everything you need for a self-catered stay, including an electric oven and gas hob, as well as a dishwasher for a fuss-free clean.

When meals are dished, gather around the dining table to tuck-in or throw open the patio doors to enjoy your meal out on the lush rear garden.

As day draws to night, discover the family bathroom, where you can melt your worries away in the tub or rinse off under the rainfall shower.

When sleep calls, either rest your head in the ground-floor king or climb the stairs for an additional king and twin bedroom, with TVs for a movie night beneath the covers.

Explore your rural location on foot or bike and why not pack a bucket or spade to visit Dinas Dinlle Beach for a sea-breeze?

A scenic drive will lead you into the heart of Caernarfon, home to a great selection of bars, shops, and restaurants, as well as the ancient Caernarfon Castle to immerse yourself in the past.

Where you’ll be staying

CAERNARFON

Llanberis 8 miles; Bangor 9 miles.

Caernarfon (county town of Gwynedd) has much historic and cultural importance in North Wales. It is a popular tourist spot with its impressive 13th Century castle, well preserved town walls and delightful water front. During the season there are guided tours of the castle and special events including historic pageants. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which passes through dramatic scenery, the village of Beddgelert and onto Porthmadog. Boat trips are available from the harbour and another attraction within walking distance of the town centre is Segontium, a Roman fort and museum, housing many important finds. Caernarfon offers a wide selection of shops and places to eat and is close to the lovely beaches of Ynys Mon (Anglesey) and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the mountains and rivers of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), including the renowned mountaineering town of Llanberis at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).
