"Caerdegog Ganol is a beautiful place, the house is larger than we expected, it is HUGE."
The conversion is beautifully done and of exceptional quality.
The kitchen has a dining table for eight at it's centre, and is fully equipped for family dining, everything was of good quality and exceptionally clean.
The central dining room has to be seen to be believed, it is massive, the high wooden beams and the stairway to the master suite is perfectly sympathetic to the ethos of the conversion. With a formal dining table for eight at it's centre and an impressive fireplace below the family crest.
The master suite floor consists of a king size suite that has to be experienced to be believed, the twin bathroom is beautifully fitted to a high standard, a large corner bath, twin sinks and an absolutely insane shower that is just what you need for morning wake ups.
This floor also has a single room which is comfortable and bright.
Back downstairs there is a twin room a double room up a short stairway, further down the corridor is another double room up a short stairway, all are exceptionally clean and bright.
The second bathroom has a beautiful slipper bath at it's centre with the rest of the suite being sympathetic to the design and exceptionally clean.
At the end of the corridor is the beautiful sitting room, this room is of exceptional dimensions with an imposing log burning fireplace with huge wooden beams supported by huge sandstone lintels. With two large and very comfortable sofas and a large TV. There is a raised area with another large sofa as a reading/relaxing area. All of which was exceptional clean and well furnished.
There are double doors out into the large garden, which wraps around the house. The well kept lawns extend out from the house into farmland with very curious cows in the next field.
This house delivered on all of our expectations and more, we had a wonderful stay in this fabulous "cottage". It was peaceful and restful and just what we needed.
The owner was so helpful and left us a welcome pack for our arrival.
It was lovely to have a chat with her and discuss the history of the house and of the surrounding area.
We would like to thank her and her family for allowing us to experience this wonderful house.

"Great secluded setting with wonderful views, you can even see the sea, and lovely sunsets."
The accommodation is on a grand scale, especially the kitchen, dining room ,impressive lounge and main bedroom. My only minor criticism is a lack of hanging space in the smaller bedrooms and the large hall would really benefit from a coat rack/stand.
We really enjoyed our week at Caerdegog Ganol which is less than 5 minutes drive to the petrol station and local store and very close to Cemeas Bay. Trips to Beaumauris to the castle and visit Puffin island took about 50 minutes.
Richard and Gwenda were excellent hosts and I have a lot of respect for the hours put in by Richard and his colleagues whilst harvesting the silage for winter feed.

"We have stayed in many houses over the past 20 years but we would never describe them as an adventure."
This house was that. It was unique and fun and unfortunately we only booked it for 3 nights. The location is fantastic and rural. The house was well equipped and we have nothing negative to report. Thanks for a memorable 3 nights in your “cottage”.

"We had an absolutely wonderful week here."
What a stunning property. Owners Richard and Gwendda were so kind and welcoming.
We had a beautiful walk round the Cemlyn Nature Reserve, loved the beaches at Cemaes Bay, RhosNeigr and Porth Wen and had a splendid visit to Beaumaris Castle. We’d love to come back….thank you so much!

"Had a lovely stay 4 adults and our 2 dogs, the barn was so remote but bit to far from amenities."
We had lots of days out around Anglesey visiting beaches, Rhosneigr, Benllech, Red Wharf Bay, Bull bay and Newborough. We embraced the weather and got out everyday, walked the costal path to Caemes bay which was lovely too a few times.
It didn’t matter that the shower was not working cause the bath tubs were so relaxing after long walks, I feel the barn would benefit from a few more games to play and the kitchen could do with some new bulbs as a lot of them are out so it’s a bit dark when in that room, but we managed and had lots of lovely meals the kitchen has everything you need.
Many thanks to the owners for sharing your wonderful property.
We hope to come back someday
Whilst the barn enjoys the peace and tranquility of the countryside, it is only 5 minutes away from our local service station and convenience store.
The shower was working, albeit with temporary fixtures, whilst awaiting new parts. An explanatory note was left for guests. Full repairs have now been carried out.
The property did originally have a variety of games, but sadly many of these have been removed by other guests over a period of time.
We were unaware that light bulbs needed replacing in the kitchen. It was a problem that could have been easily rectified with a telephone call/message.

"This property goes far above he 5 star rating it was immaculate!"
Extremely clean and all kitchen equipment looked completely new. The photos cannot properly show how big the rooms were and spread out. We were always getting lost and our grandson called it his castle. Set in peaceful and tranquil countryside with vast outside space for the grandchildren and dog to play. Village shops, petrol station and eateries all within a short distance. Not to forget the beautiful beach at Cermaes Bay with safe bathing and plenty of room for all.
Caerdegog Ganol is an amazing place place to stay with most friendly and helpful owners. You could'nt ask for more for a perfect holiday destination

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful place."
Plenty of room for all the family, and idyllic location, but close to local amenities. Great for families with dogs too, with fabulous walks and beaches close by. We would love to return in the future. Thank you!

"Wow! Not a cottage, an enormous residence."
Immaculately clean, and set in the heart of the countryside. Think dark star studded skies, rabbits and hares playing in the grass, owls calling and numerous birds.
Handily, a garage and food store 1/2 mile away, and wonderful coastal scenery and family/dog friendly beaches within 5 miles.
Really helpful owners who react very quickly to answer any queries you may have.
A wonderful base to explore Angelseyfrom.
Thankyou.

"We had a wonderful week at Caerdegog Ganol."
The building is fascinating and full of character - great to spend time together but plenty of space to spread out too! Very big but also warm and cosy and without doubt, one of the most spotless places we've ever stayed (a credit to whoever cleans it).
The quantity and design of the bedrooms worked perfectly for our group ages from mid-teens to late 70's.
Our dog isn't a 'chaser' so was able to bumble around in the significant enclosed outdoor space. Outside the boundary, there are cattle and livestock in view, so if you have a mischievous dog, you might have to be more careful.
The house is 5 minutes drive from the lovely village of Camaes and we swam in the sea on multiple occasions which shows how good the weather was for Late October! It's only 10 minutes to the likes of Bull Bay where we walked along the coastal path and saw dolphins and seals.
The shop, located at the garage (2 minutes away) stocks almost everything and is much bigger and more comprehensive than most 'garage shops' but we got deliveries from Asda and Iceland so they're available if you prefer.
Anglesey was beautiful as always so if you want a peaceful break, staying somewhere away from others in something a little different from the traditional holiday lets, this is definitely a place to add to your list!

"Caerdegog Ganol is a hidden gem on Anglesey."
It is a luxurious and spacious base from which to explore the island, with the benefit of having accessible facilities within walking distance. It is ideal for families or groups who want a peaceful location with easy access to the stunning walks and popular locations. The hosts are friendly and have thought of everything with the barn conversion having everything that you could need including a welcome hamper. I don't often write reviews but really would recommend this place as a special venue.
