  • "Our stay at Medical Hall was great."

    It is comfy, spacious and has everything you need for your time away, with some lovely special touches considered! The flat is in a great location for enjoying Cemaes and exploring the rest of Anglesey. In Cemaes, the pizza/ice-cream shack by the beach was great and we enjoyed a drink at the BayView restaurant up on the hill. Further afield, we really loved the vast Copper Mine just up the road and Newborough Forest, Beach and walking out to the island there. Thank you for a great stay.

  • "Lovely stay in this well positioned apartment."

    Very clean and comfy and had everything we needed. The little welcome basket was a very thoughtful touch - thank you. Great communication and lots of local info provided. We loved the dairy farm fresh milkshakes - wonderful idea! We even stopped off for one on our journey home, (addictive! Lol).

  • "We recently enjoyed a lovely short break in Cemaes, Anglesey, and would highly recommend this apartment."

    It was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its location on the main high street was perfect, with shops, cafés, and amenities all within easy walking distance. The beach was just a stone's throw away and quickly became our favourite spot to spend the evenings, watching the beautiful sunsets while listening to the oystercatchers and watching the swifts overhead. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add blackout curtains alongside the blinds in the bedroom, as the morning light comes through quite early. Other than that, everything was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • "We had a lovely few days at Medical Hall."

    Thankyou for letting us stay in your cosy flat. It was clean, comfortable and very well maintained. Obviously looked after very well by the owners. A great base for our first visit to Anglesey. Loved Cemaes, beautiful village with enjoyable walks. Stag inn was basic, but very friendly with sky sports. Bayview restaurant at Hotel Gadlys, was just across the main beach. Lovely views and food. Visited the South Stack lighthouse - amazing. Trearddur bay, beautiful coves, def worth a visit.

  • "Only one night but a great stay."

    Apartment was immaculate with all that we needed and a very nice welcome pack. The pub, the store and the fish and chip shop all less than 100m away and great birding just down the road. We had no problem with parking. Many thanks and we hope to be back. Dave and Jill

  • "This flat is a gem in the heart of Cemaes Bay!"

    It's clean, spacious and well-equipped. Many lovely places to explore both on foot or by car, just wish we could have stayed longer! Welcome pack was a bonus along with supply of tea, coffee and sugar. Big thank you to the owners, I'm sure we'll be back

  • "What a lovely property."

    Decorated to a high standard. Bedding and towels are fabulous. Sofa and chairs so comfy to sit and chill in while watching tele. Couple of little things needed but passed this onto the owner who was pleased to correct. Maybe a tele in the bedroom but that is a personal preference.. nice welcome basket and the nicest milk I have ever had was in the fridge. Everything so close at hand, beach ,pub, shop. Would recommend this property to everyone.

  • "We had a lovely week at the Medical Hall (the sparkling weather certainly helped)."

    This apartment is well located on the High Street for the harbour, beach(es), coastal paths and shops. We didn't have any issues parking in the lay-by opposite to unload and reload the car and there was plenty of parking in the nearby free car park (September) The apartment was clean and comfortable, had plenty of hot water and lovely fluffy towels, and everything we could need for a week's stay. It was lovely to arrive to a welcome pack too - thank you. We felt a lot of thought had been put into what guests might need and is real value for money. To our delight the chippy, under new ownership since we last stayed in Cemaes, now opens daily all year round (it had just closed for winter last time we stayed). It offers enough variation on the menu to justify more than one visit and we took advantage of this. We don't often return to the same place twice but would happily stay at the Medical Hall again.

  • "Fantastic flat: comfortable, clean & very well equipped."

    Great location with a stunning beach within easy walking distance. A perfect place to swim in the sea, walk the cliff paths & be in nature. Visiting Porth Lynas was a highlight for us. As we sat on the headland, we saw dolphins, porpoises & seals feeding in the sea below us. Absolutely wonderful!

  • "We're happy to recommend Medical Hall, it's central to village facilities such as shop, chemist, pub, fish & chips, ice cream, harbour, beaches & coastal path."

    The only slight drawback is that it is approx. 200 metres from the free village car park, which could be a bit of a trek if you have a lot of stuff. There is some on street parking but it's limited to 30 mins and usually fully occupied, especially in the evenings

  • "Excellent location."

    The town has a lovely community spirit. The apartment was a perfect base. Plenty of room in the big open living space. Loved the extra touches - the milk was delicious! Downside was parking wasn’t on site and not always easy to find a spot.

The property

Medical Hall is a romantic first-floor apartment resting on the coast in Cemaes Bay, Anglesey.

A superb setting for a couple looking to escape to the seaside, the apartment is within easy reach of many beaches on the island, alongside a wealth of things to do.

A free public car park is situated nearby for your convenience, leave your vehicle here before heading to your home-from-home.

Entering the apartment, you will be delighted by the tastefully furnished and bright open-plan living space that provides you with everything you'll need during your stay.

Head over to the colourful sitting area and relax on the plush leather sofas; switch on the TV and put on a movie for you and your loved one to enjoy.

Continue through the space to the well-presented modern kitchen, you'll find cooking a breeze as the kitchen is fitted with all your essentials, including a handy washer/dryer.

When dinner is ready, enjoy your meal at the dining table; the table seats four, which is perfect if you want to have a couple of friends join you!

In the evening, head to bed in the charming king-size room, with plenty of space under the bed for you to pop away your luggage.

Travel east to the town of Amlwch and enjoy a game of eighteen holes at the nearby Bull Bay Golf Club, or marvel at the sights of the historic Amlwch Port Windmill and Lighthouse; be sure to visit the Copper Kingdom Centre and learn about the town's rich mining history!

Either travel down by foot via the Anglesey Coastal Path or drive south to the major port town of Holyhead and experience an exhilarating boat tour along the coast, or go kayaking in the waters, before enjoying locally sourced dishes and seaview dining at Landons.

The Isle of Anglesey has access to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and the university town of Bangor.
