  • "Lovely little dog friendly retreat situated above Nefyn ."

Had a great short break although a lot of the cafes etc had closed down for winter. Plenty of stunning deserted beaches for long walks more than made up for this. The cooking pod had 4 rings , a microwave and we had toast and crumpets made on the wood burner . Perfect . The bathroom was a delight after a day out with hot water on demand .

  • "Overall we had a great holiday Peter and Alison were great hosts a lovely clean property and a great location."

Only one small downside for us was no blinds or curtains on main window. Apart from that perfect.

The area was equally lovely, many walks and so dog friendly. We would happily return to the Sail Loft

The rural location makes for a peaceful time but only 5 minutes from Nefyn with its restaurants and beaches.

  • "100% would book The Sail Loft again!"

A great little place in a very quiet spot up the hill from the centre of Nefyn. We sadly didn't get good weather so spent more time inside than we'd have liked so a comfy sofa would have been an added bonus. A lovely welcome with a bottle of wine and Barra Brith (my favourite). If you intend on eating in you might want to take a few extra like a bigger frying pan, another saucepan and a good sharp knife. We had lots of things from camping the week previously so managed fine. It's clean, the bed is comfortable and the shower is fabulous. Plenty of very hot water! This a great year round retreat and base for your Welsh trip. Good walking routes on the doorstep, patio for sitting out and a log burning fire for cosy nights. Lovely friendly owners with a gorgeous labrador called Larry. We'll be back!

We really struggled with this as we didn't want to eat out every night!! Fantastic with everything else the sail loft provided for us. Welcome gifts were really appreciated many thanks.

  • "We stayed for 3 nights with our dog and loved the bright, airy feel of the place."

The dog loved all the outside space while we sat enjoying sunny evenings on the patio. Great walking to be had with Mount Nefyn and incredible views just a short walk away, and the coastal path to take you as far down the peninsula as you like. I didn't find the layout of the kitchen/diner/lounge very effective - preparing meals was a bit of a juggling act and the furniture was not very comfortable or welcoming. But for 3 nights it was fine. The bed was wonderfully big and comfortable. The fridge was not working when we arrived but the owners were quick to contact the neighbour who could let us into the main cottage to use that fridge. So it was a little inconvenient but at least quickly sorted.

  • "We had to find another property the day before due to boiler burst in the original cottage."

The first skyr agent said a call back would be given after sending a few new choices never got it and when I rang back had to explain and felt it was not there job to.find me a place. They even sent me.ones woth none of my request in. And didn't like having to deal with 3 different people. The cottage was clean well situated as we are walkers. The only downfall I cook from.scratch both meat and vegetarian a d for d the lack of kitchen workspace a problem I would.go back but prepare the food before.we.go

  • "A perfect getaway lodge for the two of us."

It was a great base for our first foray on the Llyn peninsula. Main room was comfortable and the ‘Italian’ kitchenette worked well for a small space. Bedroom and bathroom were lush and tastefully equipped. Loved the colour scheme! Got used to the narrow and winding country roads! A lovely spot and we would return given the chance!

  • "Lovely property!"

I stayed at the Sail Loft with my dog & it was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean & nice design touches. Extremely comfortable and lovely outside space. The only thing that I would slightly disagree with in the description is the journey to the shops & beach. Its a very steep road only the width of one car. It would take about 45 minutes to get to the shop on foot and much longer to the beach however this wasn't a problem for me as I preferred to go by car.

  • "You did not mention that the sail loft was in the owners back garden."

Also mentioned in listing a dishwasher and washing machine neither was there. Also would advise that need to drive to nearest shops and definitely to the beach. Owners were very welcoming and friendly.

  • "Great little cottage, lovely and quiet and had everything you needed for a nice little trip away."

Very modern and furnishings and decorations for the cottage were lovely. Peter and Alison helped us with all our queries so were fab hosts. Not too far to walk into the centre of Nefyn either from the cottage. We had a great week there! Our only feedback would be as it was a dog friendly cottage, if there could be a gate on the property as when in the garden the dog could run to the road if they wanted. Our dog was fine with staying with us, but just for extra peace of mind and would then give it a 10/10!
