  • "Lovely property."

I especially loved the roof terrace. Parking turned out not to be an issue. Kitchen small but everything you need to cook substantial meals if you didnt want to eat out. Location great. Only 2 minutes from town centre yet tucked away and private. A good holiday.

Thank you for taking the time to provide the lovely feedback. We too love the roof terrace. It’s great to hear that you had a good holiday. Property Owner

  • "Lovely, very well equipped cottage."

Great location within the old castle walls. Good amount of information re places to visit. Owners very helpful when assistance was needed with the property. It would have been helpful to know about local laundry services as we were staying for two weeks with no washing machine.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and your kind comments. I’ll update the information book with details of the local laundrette services. We hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

The Christmas decorations and seasonal welcome pack were much appreciated and the carols, appearance of Father Christmas on the castle followed by fireworks was just perfect and unexpected. We had a lovely few days, good walks and beautiful scenery all around. Should we visit Conwy again will definitely look for this property, a little gem right in the heart of the town. One of the best properties we've ever had.

Please do look us up if ever you are in the area again, as we've just had the bathroom fully refitted and now we're prouder than ever of our little property in the heart of Conwy. Property Owner

Parking a little tight but you soon get used to it. Very comfortable and homely place to stop. Very well equipped. Conwy and the surrounding areas are great, just walk down the street a little way and you find good places to eat and nice shops.

Thank you for taking the time to feed back to us. It was a pleasure to meet you and your wife when I was in the area on Tuesday. We’re delighted that you had a lovely stay in the cottage and Conwy, and we hope to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

  • "We usually take 2 cottage holidays a year and have done for several years."

This cottage is one of if not the best for cleanliness and comfort and definitely the best for location. As Welsh pensioners we were able to leave our car and walk to the close by bus stops and travel free to any destination on a bus service that was far more reliable than ours at home

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay in both the cottage and the local atea and hope to welcome you back in the future. We’ll pass on your kind words to our housekeeper too. Property Owner

About the location

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia is just six miles away.
