  • "Fantastic stay."

Would highly recommend. Our extended family enjoyed Plas Coch. From the moment we arrived everything was explained and we felt relaxed. The closed garden was helpful with pets, with the addition of the cows to keep all amused. Good location to travel to Rhyl, Rhuddlan, Prestatyn etc. Had a lovely walk along the river in St Asaph and thoroughly enjoyed the hottub at the end of the day. Mags was very welcoming and helpful. We will come back again.

Lots of space outside with a lovely hot tub and patio area. Fresh milk and eggs were a lovely touch too. Great location for travelling around North Wales

  • "Plas Coch is a beautiful holiday home with a very attentive but not intrusive host."

The hot tub was amazing and extremely well maintained. The kitchen was well set out and had everything we needed to self cater and even bake! The area was beautiful and near to lots of places of interest and the coast.

  • "Fabulous holiday accommodation for large family or friends get together."

Plenty of room. Obviously alot of money spent on the refurbishment with high end kitchen and bathroom fittings. The family sized hottub was amazing. Hosts friendly, approachable and responsive. Would highly recommend Plas Coch for a getaway. Although having explored alot of Wales over the years we hadn't been in this area but really glad we have now. St Asaph has all the facilities necessary, Rhaedadr Dyserth waterfall close by is worth a visit and plenty of seaside towns within a short drive. Whats not to love.

About the location

ST ASAPH

Denbigh 6 miles; Chester 28 miles.

St Asaph, though small, was awarded city status in 2012, even though it boasts a population of little over 3500 occupants. Lying in the Vale of Clwyd, six miles between Denbigh and the coastal town of Rhyl, in North Wales, St Asaph enjoys a strategic location overlooking the rivers Clwyd and Elwy. The city offers delightful riverside parkland and a children’s play area with picturesque river walks where you may see kingfishers, sparrow hawks and buzzards. St Asaph is home to a historic cathedral, dating back 1400 years in areas and holding the reputation of being the smallest, ancient cathedral in Britain. It is also renowned as the location where the Bible was translated into Welsh in the 16th century. In September, the city comes alive with the arrival of the North Wales International Music festival, which takes place across numerous locations, culminating for the last few years in a television finale, broadcast from the cathedral. St Asaph offers numerous amenities and activities, from traditional pubs, to gastronomic dining experiences, numerous craft and gift shops and local clubs offering a 9-hole golf course, horse riding, angling, and crown green bowling, as well as a thriving leisure centre and the Tweedmill Retail Outlet. A superb holiday location for exploring this picturesque area of North Wales.
