  • "The apartment was exceptionally tidy and clean."

Loved the quirkiness of the apartment as it had previously been a church. It had everything that was needed for a 4 night stay. WIFI was excellent. The location was excellent. Easy to reach many attractions in the area. Criccieth even had its own railway station which we didn't use as the places we visited needed a car to get to and a castle with amazing views. It was a nice touch having milk and a cake on arrival the cake was delicious. Wish I new where it was from. The only niggle was that we could only pull the skylight blind down half way as it was stiff. It does say they like us to wake up to natural light, but we like a dark bedroom and not to be woken up at 4.30 in the morning as it's getting light. Especially when you are on holiday. Will certainly go back to Criccieth in the near future and next time visit the castle and use the train.

  • "What an absolute joy it was to stay at this property - perfect for the two of us."

Cleanliness was excellent, facilities were more than we needed and the location was even better than we expected. Some really nice personal touches, and it was a very unique experience - I never thought I'd be negotiating a church column in my bedroom! Will definitely be booking again.

  • "Heating on arrival took a little while to figure it out and to warm the flat, it was so cold on arrival."

Noisy plumbing, we found it funny but not sure if the neighbors did. Nice touch with the complementary cake, delicious, thank you.

Good parking. Property on the main through the town and sea front and coastal path minutes away. Everything you need both in the appartment and in the town. Conveniently situated for so many attractions. Would definitely recommend.

had everything u need very clean on arrival and comfortable. our only problem was bed as think was small double and my husband 6’2” just had to fold him up a bit. great base for touring round did many miles on foot and by car. We would say seemed very short on places to eat in evening. But all in all a lovely holiday

  • "The apartment is well situated for access to Criccieth beach and the village."

It was very quiet and comfortable, and adequately met our needs, although a microwave would have been useful. The toilet seat needs to be adjusted as it moves about when you sit on it and the television remote needs new batteries.

  • "First, I had not realized that it was an apartment with no external access ..."

First, I had not realized that it was an apartment with no external access Next, it was too small - the bedroom could not accommodate a king bed, the bathroom was minuscule, there was no table The duvet was insufferably hot Incredibly, there was no microwave

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with the facilities and amenities during your recent stay. However, the items you mentioned are all noted in the property description or visible in the photographs, and we are confident that the apartment is as advertised on the website. I'm sure you will appreciate that things, like the size of the bathroom, or the access cannot be altered, and are again, quite apparent in the images on Dinlle's web page. Property Owner

Note: We've been informed that some essential works on the church are going to start at the end of March and through into most of April. The works are at the front of the building so shouldn't effect the apartment itself other than potential noise during the day, and there's going to be disruption in the car park and workers around.
