"Lovely property with great views over the beach and castle."
Only a couple of minutes walk into the village centre with good restaurants and cafes. Two allocated parking spaces around the back are very handy. Spacious and comfortable rooms with very good bedding - some noise from passing traffic and trains but we slept very well!

"Absolutely beautiful property, spacious, clean and very comfortable."
The only minor negative for us, as we are not used to it, was the slight smell of dogs in the living room, possibly from the rug near the fireplace.
A bit of ventilation helped a lot.
Also, there was a travel cot provided but for anyone with babies, we would recommend taking a thicker travel cot mattress with you.
This was a brilliant property for any group of 6 to 10 people and we would definitely stay there again!

"Great location and lovely property that met our family needs of 6 adults and 2 infants."
Unable to pick up any terrestrial TV channels and this was an issue when we came back at nite and could not watch/catch up with the days news and football as World Cup was being played. Internet service worked ok. There are a few to negotiate from the car parking area to the front door that we weren’t expecting. Great decor and high standard throughout- definitely return.

"This was one of the very best holiday homes we have stayed in."
The position was great with gorgeous views and short walk to the beach and town.
The facilities were excellent, the washing machine, cooker and dishwasher all appeared new. Bedding was lovely and fresh.
The side garden was great for the children and offered shade in the evening.
We would thoroughly recommend it.

"A girls group getaway to celebrate a big birthday the house provided amble room for our group size of 10."
Views of the sea to wake up to, hearing the sea whilst enjoying sitting in the garden. A ideal location to a short stroll to the beach or shops/ places to eat. House facilities were excellent and many of the group said would book the house again. Welcoming messages from the owner and accommodating our every need. A very memorial weekend. Thankyou

"Ideally situated in Criccieth for the beach and local shops and pubs, Llys Owen is a wonderful place."
Clean, comfortable and full of character with fantastic views of the seafront and beyond. Good walks can be found in the area, and was ideal for our two dogs. We encountered One small problem whilst there, which was dealt with in an efficient manner by the owners. I would certainly recommend Llys Owen and would not hesitate in returning.

"Fantastic period house for our extended family trip."
The sea views were incredible and the location perfect for walking into Criccieth, to the beach and the wonderful Dylan's restaurant. Very well equipped and the cleanliness was excellent. A full size ironing board would have been handy with us all going to a wedding but that is the only minor niggle! Highly recommended!

"What a really lovely stay we have had in Criccieth."
The property is perfectly placed with everything within walking distance, the beach, shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, coastal walk, castle all easy to get to, making it ideal no matter what you'd like to get up to each day.
The property itself is lovely, comfortable, spacious and well equipped, with everything you'll need whether it's cooking and dining together, relaxing and enjoying the views before and after a day out in Criccieth and a comfortable nights sleep.
We couldn't fault anything and loved both the property and Criccieth. If we were coming in a large group again, we wouldn't hesitate in staying here again. I would also happily use Skyes Cottages for any other future holidays. It's been smooth from start to finish, even when we wanted to extend our stay, which they accommodated for us and was easy to do. So I can't recommend Llys Owen and Skyes Cottages enough.

"As a family of 8 adults one toddler and one baby and a dog, the house worked really well, plenty of room for everyone."
We tended to eat in the kitchen, which made it a bit cosy as table was really not big enough. Dining room had plenty of room, but table was used for games! And as a work area. Bedrooms were spacious and well equipped. A very enjoyable holiday. Criccieth is a lovely town to stay as everything is within walking distance. It is also easy to get to other places along the coast.

"Llys Owen is a beautiful property."
Every room has a stunning view of the sea and coastline. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The gardens are well maintained and a lovely area to sit and admire the views. We were lucky with the weather and could have done with a parasol as the garden is in full sun all day. The only thing lacking in the property are bins in the bathrooms (need them for ladies sanitary products). Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and we are already planning to return. Magnificent!

"Had a lovely Short Break at Llys Owen."
This was a lovely old house with a really interesting history.
The house was very clean and comfortable - slept like babies in the lovely beds and peaceful bed rooms.
The sea views were spectacular and we spent most evening in the lounge sitting in the sun room area watching the sea, trains, and life go by.
Ideal car parking space that was big enough for our estate car or two smaller cars easily.
Centrally located and a short walk to everything you want in Criccieth and an ideal base for exploring the wider Llyn Peninsular.

"Gorgeous house with amazing views and some great family spaces."
Showing it's age in places but that's unsurprising after experiencing the weather it's lived through. A bigger toaster and frying pan would make breakfasts easier for large groups. Some of the shared bathroom locks were also very stiff.
A 4-slice toaster is in place in the kitchen

"This was the second time staying at this property so I was more aware of needing certain items for safety."
Bath mats/ shower mats . I also brought some rubber mats for the frount steps . I do feel more grab rails would help . Apart from that it's a lovely place and spotless. Beds are so comfy giving a very good night sleep . No problems with showers or heating . Views are to die for !!!! First thing in the morning looking at the sea ....so calming . Thanks to the owners..
Glad to hear you enjoyed Llys Owen for the second time. All three shower trays are non-slip. The front steps under the yew tree do tend to become slippery when wet and we have placed rubber mats there.

"Lovely house."
Very clean, beds very comfortable and warm. So much room. Everything was spotless on arrival .
Kitchen facilities brilliant. Cooker and hob working well. Owner got in touch about the heating but all was fine apart from the day of leaving however I wasn't going to get in touch with the owner for this, but I knew they would have helped.
I have two dogs however one likes to escape. Frount garden was the only area for my two dogs,I had to place furniture to the side of the house to stop them getting through. There is another very large frount garden however this is not safe for dogs as the garden goes to the top of the fence on the main road where dogs could jump of. Apart from this it was amazing and it won't stop me booking again next year. Thanks

"Absolutely great house in a fabulous location beautiful views from the front overlooking the lovely beach, easy to walk to everything."
One problem is the fridge is far too small for 10 people especially if eating in, taking your own food etc and need to find room to chill the essentials like wine !!!
Overall a brilliant weekend had by all and would definitely return.
Thank you for the valuable feedback, a new 66L tabletop fridge has by now been installed in the utility area near the kitchen

We will never tire of the views over the bay and over towards Criccieth castle. We were a family of 8 plus a dog and felt there was ample space in this property. We definitely plan to return.

"Great house with loads of space and fabulous views."
For a house that takes 10 the fridge is far too small and it would really help to have a tumble drier. We had washing draped everywhere
A 3-tier indoor clothes airer was provided for your use, plenty of space in which to set it up should the weather prevent you from hanging your clothes outside from the clothes line, and a new tabletop fridge has by now been installed.
Many thanks for your feedback
