  • "Beautiful apartment, clean, very comfortable, extremely well equipped, A lot of thought has gone into the furnishings, and comfort of this property It felt like a lovely warm home, with fantastic sea views, the high backed sofa was very much appreciated , as was the milk and Welsh cakes."

  • "The flat was generally very nice, fabulous views and quite comfortable."

There was some mould in the shower and kitchen that I got rid of and the shower had no where to put anything down like shower gel, shampoo etc. A tray and a hairdryer would also have been really helpful. The rest was great and we had a nice holiday. I would recommend this flat to others.

  • "A very pleasant bright apartment set in a beautiful location, overlooking the estuary and hills beyond."

It was spotlessly clean. The railway line running adjacent to the property was not intrusive to us. Close to Conwy, Bodnant Garden and the local RSPB reserve with cafe is very close, as is the large Tesco store. I wasn’t sure if it was an oversight, but there was no handwash in the kitchen and a small supply of kitchen towel would have been useful. I had to purchase a rubber shower mat for my elderly mother. As a holiday home owner myself I do supply these in my properties. Unfortunately the parking place is so tight that when a vehicle parked close by it was impossible to exit safely and I scratched my car, a Volvo estate. A smaller car should be fine.

  • "Everything from the apartment to the location was exactley as descibed, the apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, the location was 5 minutes drive from llandudno & conwy and a short walk and across the railway bridge took us to deganwy beach, marina and town."

I would definetley book this property again.

  • "Whilst the apartment had fantastic views the railway line ran within 20-25 metres of the apartment."

The decor was very arty and attractive but this was not reflected in tableware.- 4 workmen type mugs, unmatching glassware, no fruit bowl or bread bin, 1 pyrex basin and 1pyrex dish for oven cooking. Perhaps many people like to eat out or have take aways but some of us like to make our own meals and it's good to have the choice. As it was I had to buy a roasting tin from Tesco. The other point I would like to make is that being a ground floor apartment it would appeal to older couples. Iam somewhat unsteady on my feet and I really needed a grab rail on a wall in the walk in shower but this was not available.

The beach was on the doorstep .One way led to West Shore about a 30 mins walk along the beach or take the coastal path a little longer .The other way a walk to Conway a very pleasant walk . A lovely patio to sit out on . The car had a parking place, lovely clean complex . We really enjoyed our stay would definitely go again .

  • "Well presented, functional, dog friendly holiday base Good location - with excellent sea views - beach walks a few minutes stroll from the doorstep - with other places of interest just a short drive / train ride away."

Proximity of the train track may be an issue for some folks - but was one of the reasons why we booked this ground floor flat. The trains are not that often and not that much of a disturbance more details here Have already booked a return visit for 2021.

About the location

Conwy 2 miles; Llandudno 3.5 miles.

The town of Deganwy, on the banks of the River Conwy at the mouth of the Estuary, is a very popular holiday destination. Deganwy has a marina, a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and retains the ruins of Deganwy Castle, built in 1082 but later demolished. There is an abundance of activities to suit all interests on offer in this area; from sea fishing, walking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to enjoying the castles, mines, beaches and gardens of this beautiful stretch of the North Wales Coast. Deganwy is only a few miles from the holiday resorts of Conwy and Llandudno; Conwy boasts a medieval castle, town walls and a marina, plus winding streets which offer something for shoppers and diners alike. Llandudno was very popular during the Victorian era, and this is evident in the architecture and the very impressive promenade. The town also has a pier with family attractions, a theatre and for the more adventurous, a dry ski slope! Between Deganwy, Llandudno and Conwy, this area has so much to offer the entire family.
