  • "We had a lovely stay at Oak Cottage."

Very clean and comfortable.... and for the 1st time ever when staying in holiday rentals, there was an ample amount of dishwasher pods, washing up liquid and a dish cloth provided. Very much appreciated, thank you! The cottage was in a perfect spot for us, just a short walk across the road and you're on the coastal path with easy access to the dog friendly beach. Our 14 month old labrador was in his element, as were we! Although the cottage is part of a courtyard set up and attached to other cottages, it is situated on the end section, which afforded us our privacy. The hosts were really lovely and accommodating, kept in touch via email and called by phone to check if we needed anything. A perfect little break for us and we would not hesitate to book again.

  • "Average accommodation, would benefit from improvements"

Hi Andrew, thanks for your feedback, I am little concerned at the comments. You have scored us down on every line, which without further detail I cannot really respond. The Cottage was spotless when you arrived and the facilities which additionally include dog towels, complementary toiletrys and a 72 inch smart screen in the TV room which are more than is required for the star rating of the property. We also met a number of times during your stay but no concerns were raised. I am more than happy to recieve an email from detaing the specific issues so the problems can be addresses to improve the Cottage experience for our guests. Kind regards Steve Property Owner

  • "The cottage was lovely and warm and comfortable."

It had everything we needed, shower, shampoo and conditioner in both bathrooms. The movie room was great to snuggle up on an evening, bed was comfortable. Alexa was a bonus. Piece and quite, near the sea for some good walks. We had a great visit

So glad you enjoyed your stay, it is a lovely part of the world regardless of the weather.. hopefully we will see you again soon. Property Owner

So comfortable, spacious, spotless and has everything you need. Great location. Went to Llandudno, Barmouth, Criccieth, Caernarfon & more. The beach is literally just across from the cottage. Steve the owner was friendly and checked if everything was ok. The cinema room was a great addition. Welcome package was waiting for us. Supply of dishwasher tabs, tea towels, teabags, sugar and coffee which was great incase you forgot to bring them. Can’t recommend enough. Had a lovely relaxing week. Thanks.

  • "What a find!"

Wonderful cottage in a beautiful location with views of the coastline and mountains. The cottage is situated at the quiet end of the village with views across to the airport which has a lovely cafe and museum. The description of the cottage and amenities were spot on and are a credit to the lovely friendly owners. The cottage was very comfortable with good quality towels and bed linen and has all the comforts for an enjoyable holiday - especially nice is the TV room where you can relax at the end of the day. The outside area was ideal for sitting out and a enclosed area for the dogs to run free. Dinas Dinlle is a perfect base to stay to explore this beautiful area of Wales and despite not having the best of the weather we still managed to explore the surrounding area, taking in the beautiful scenery with plenty to see and visit. The dogs especially enjoyed their walks along the beach. We would definitely recommend Oak Cottage as it is one of the best we have stayed in over the years and can’t wait to visit this part of Wales again soon.

  • "A lovely stay at a great cottage!"

We would definitely recommend this place. The location is brilliant, only a few metres from the quiet end of the beach and with lovely views over the airfield and towards the mountains. The cottage itself is nicely done, clean and well maintained as well as thoughtfully equipped. We found the beds to be very comfortable with lovely linens and towels, excellent showers and everything you could need for a self catering stay. Having the two living areas is also lovely - retiring to the big cinema room in the evening after dinner was a real treat. The owners were really helpful. We received a welcome pack by email a few days before and Steve was happy to answer a couple of questions about practicalities before we arrived. He also checked in with us while we were there. There were also some lovely touches like milk, teabags, cake, beach towels and picnic equipment left for us.

Hi Amy, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and thankyou for your feedback. We look forward to having you stay with us again soon. Property Owner

  • "We were utterly thrilled to see our accommodation when we arrived as it more than met our expectations and beyond."

The location and proximity to other places suited us well. The cottage was very well presented inside and out with peaceful surrounding views of the mountains and sea. We are a family of 6 (plus pet) and the cottage was cozy as well as spacious. Beds were comfortable and clean. It was great to have two bathrooms, including one with a bath. It is so useful to have towels provided and the host went the extra mile and provided beach towels as well. The kitchen was well equipped to provide for self catering, including a dining area to enjoy meals together. A bigger fridge and freezer space would be useful because as a family of six we were not able to stock up for the week, but rather had to shop a few times during the week. There is also a washing machine/dryer which meant less packing as we could wash items where needed. We would highly recommend this accommodation and if we decide to visit North Wales again, we would definitely stay here!

It was a pleasure having you as our guests and appreciate your feedback. Taking into account your comments regarding the limited fridge/ freezer space we will be looking to install a freezer within the utility area over the winter. We look forward to and hope you can make it back to the cottage soon. Property Owner

  • "I highly recommend Oak Cottage, it is VERY comfortable and spacious."

The downstairs bedroom and bathroom is ideal for Mum with her mobility issues. The dedicated TV lounge is a great space - it felt like being at the cinema, but far more relaxing in slippers with a cuppa for mum and a glass of wine for me! The outdoor space is a peaceful area and a perfect sun trap. We had a choice of area to sit in with amazing views - we loved sitting there with our dogs. Steve and Sandra are lovely, very friendly and helpful. We will be returning for another stay as soon as we can.

Thanks for your feedback and kind comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to having you back. Property Owner
