Hen Stabl Llandwrog is a holiday cottage that was formerly an outbuilding and was at one time part of the Glynllifon Estate in Snowdonia. The interior of the cottage is bright and decorated with quality furnishings with guests comfort in mind. The sea views from this holiday cottage even more incredible when the sun is setting over the horizon. Whether you want an action-packed break, or a relaxing holiday, it can be yours from Hen Stabl Llandwrog.
The large sitting room has comfortable sofas, a TV, DVD player, and a wood burning stove to make the evening a bit more cosy.
The kitchen has all you need with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob. The dining area within the kitchen has a table and chairs. There is access to the rear patio, too. There is a washing machine located in an outbuilding.
On the ground floor is a shower room located on the ground floor with loo and hand basin.
The double bedroom is ensuite which has a bath, loo and hand basin. There’s also a twin bedroom that has an adjoining room with loo and hand basin.
Outside is a paved space with outdoor seating and stunning sea views. A gate leads you into the fields surrounding the holiday cottage which you’re free to explore at your leisure. There is a courtyard to the front of the cottage which is where you’ll find the outbuilding that houses a utility area and allows storage space for bicycles and muddy boots.
Hen Stabl Llandwrog sits within the picturesque village of Llandwrog in Snowdonia. The country park at Glynllifon, and Dinas Dinlle beach with its cafes and restaurants are all just a walk from the holiday cottage. That means you don’t have to venture far if you want a really relaxing break. However, jump in the car and you can explore Snowdonia to your heart's content! The Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia and Anglesey are all possible places for day trips to make the most of your North Wales holiday.

Hen Stabl is a lovely cottage in a great location.
The cottage has everything needed and is excellent in every way. We have completed our fourth stay and will be returning next year. It is the perfect base to explore the Llyn Peninsula, Anglesey and Snowdonia.
We loved our second stay at Hen Stabl, the property is well presented, quiet, warm and cosy.
There was ample space to park off the road, and there were outbuildings where we were able to store our bikes and wet paddleboarding equipment. We enjoyed walking to the beach, visiting the community shop and pub, and walking around the nearby Glynllifon estate. The property was well located for trips to Anglesey, Snowdonia and the Llyen Peninsula, our favourite trip was taking a boat to Bardsey Island. We hope to return again!
Hen Stabl cottage was perfect our stay of 2 couples for a golfing break.
Spacious with ample bathroom facilities. Very comfortable with high quality fittings and furniture, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely views from kitchen/diner and only a 10 minute walk to the village pub which serves delicious meals. Our hosts were perfect, left us to enjoy our holiday but on hand in the event of any issues - there were non. We could not fault this property.
Hen Stabl is a beautifully presented and comfortable cottage with a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Having the welcoming owners nearby made it very easy to resolve a problem with the plumbing quickly and without fuss. It is located within easy reach of Caernarfon, the rest of the Llyn Peninsula, and Eryri (Snowdonia). It's walkable to the beach at Dinas Dinlle, and there are plenty of good places to eat out within a short drive.
The house is beautiful and in a fantastic location for exploring North Wales.
The owners are also lovely, very friendly and welcoming. We hope to return at some point. Thanks
We had an amazing week staying at Hen Stabl.
The cottage is absolutely beautiful with plenty of room for 4 adults. I loved my morning coffee sitting on the patio looking down to the sea, it was just so peaceful. Hen Stabl is perfectly situated to travel to so many different places, such as Harlech, Betws y coed, Beaumaris, Conwy and so many others… we didn’t stop all week. The local pub, Ty’n Llan (just a short walk down the lane) is definitely worth a visit, our meal there on the last night was one of the best we’ve had and the gorgeous mountain view’s were a lovely bonus. We would also like to thank our host ,Gwenan who was really helpful on our arrival after a stressful journey with car trouble! We would definitely recommend Hen Stabl and would love to return again someday.
Beautiful cottage furnished to a high spec.
Very convenient for beach, town and North Wales Expressway. We liked the complete privacy of the small patio area (with great views to the coast) and closeness to the excellent community pub/restaurant in nearby Llandwrog village. A very enjoyable break and highly recommended accommodation.
As usual we had awarm welcome from Dr and Mrs Jones.
A great welcome pack was provided. The property was clean and well equiped as we found in our two previous visits. With local comumity pub finally had a location to get excellant meals, drinks, with very freindly staff and wonderful views all within a 5 minute walk. All thethe countryside and castles of Snowdonia within easy reach.
Definitely had a very happy and cosy week at Hen Stabl, we had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday.
My own fault but I didn’t say I was disabled, (couldn’t use the bath and the shower room had no hand grips). I would definitely recommend the cottage as it was central to all the best sights.

The interior accommodation, decoration and presentation are of the very highest standard. We also appreciated the welcome pack provided by the owners. Hen Stabl’s location enables easy access to many of the attractions of north Wales including Caernarfon, Porthmadog, Anglesey, Criccieth and many more, including Parc Glynnliffan, which is on the doorstep. We would love to return.

Beautifuly presented,clean and comfortable, and in a perfect location to get the most out of North Wales and the Llyn peninsula. We love this area and used to visit many times when our kids were younger, so this visit was a bit of a memory lane holiday. I would highly recommend this cottage with views over the wonderful dinas dinlle beach. Happy times.
A lovely cottage in a fabulous location.
It's so easy to reach many areas of North Wales. It was spotless and well equipped. The welcome pack was most appreciated. There was a useful file of information too. It was our second stay. We really like it. It's a shame the WiFi was down but this was not the owners' fault. You can tell the owners care about providing a high standard of accommodation.

Ideally situated cottage within easy reach of lots stunning walks,beaches and places to eat. Well equipt and clean kitchen,comfy lounge and nice bedrooms. A small garden to sit out in but with far reaching views out to the sea which was lovely.

This was the perfect cottage for exploring the north wales coast.
The cottage was extremely clean & had everything that we needed for our stay. The hostess is incredibly helpful & nothing is too much trouble. We received a welcome pack & this is the first time we have ever received this. I would rate the cottage as an outstanding 15 out of 10.

Great location, very well equipped and extremely well presented and exceptionally clean.
The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable. The main bedroom would benefit from a king-size bed rather than a double, but this is otherwise a minor point. This is our second stay and would highly recommend. We are likely to return in the future.
Hen Stabl is a beautiful holiday cottage close to both the sea and the mountains.
It was spotlessly clean on arrival, and had everything one is likely to need for the duration of your stay. Very nice 'welcome basket' of local produce too. The owner popped by early in our visit to ensure everything was fine. It absolutely was! We had a great holiday.

The hosts were very considerate - leaving us in peace but available if needed and they left us a welcome gift of milk,cake,crisps,chocolate, and prosecco which was greatly appreciated! We would certainly book again as the area has so much to offer in terms of scenery, history and friendly people.
This home is very well equipped, very clean and easy to locate off the highway.
It’s in a quiet area, yet you are only minutes away from Caernarfon. The heating units worked well to cut the chill in the fall. The outdoor patio would be excellent in warmer weather The owner was great. Only thing to be aware of possibly would be the dormer ceilings in the two upstairs bedrooms might be annoying for tall guests.
This property is clearly appointed to highest quality.
Large rooms. Three bathrooms is convenient. It is secluded but with personal transport it is a matter of minutes to nearby supermarkets, farm shop and a post office. Many attractions are within 30 minutes. We were lucky with the weather and visited 4 of the many beaches in the area. Plenty of castles and lots of enthusiastically maintained railway museums.

The most well equipped cottage we have stayed in, every little detail thoroughly thought out and catered for, it was exceptionally clean and well looked after. The cottage was in a lovely position with a beautiful view and very convenient for sightseeing.

The location ideal for acess to beaches or tourist attractions on north wales coast and Snowdonia. Great sea views over fields. Next to main road for easy travel, but no trafic noise. We had a wonderful relaxing week and booked a return next year before leaving.
Fabulous stay, everything you needed was provided.
Tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Lovely little patio area for outdoor dining and taking in the views. Well positioned for visiting local attractions and shops a few miles away. Hope to return in the future.

I love it when I get to a holiday cottage and it feels so clean it’s like we’re the first people to stay there.
That was definitely the case with this cottage and in addition to that it was thoughtfully equipped and well maintained. Also, a great location for both Snowdonia and the Llyn peninsula, with some great spots on the doorstep - an easy walk to the local, community run pub (delicious home made food) and a quick drive to a beautiful and unpretentious beach. Loved it.

We Found this cottage spacious and very welcoming and furnished to a high standard.
The 0wner left us welcome gifts including a lovely cake. With amazing views, and lots to do in this area we visited some buitifull places over five days Penrhyn Castle and Gardens national trust was amazing. We would HIGHLY recommend Hen stabl. Generous welcome gift and friendly, but not intrusive, owners nearby if you need anything. Pub is 10 mins walk but closed Mondays & Tuesdays & closes early Sunday. Very friendly and welcoming though. We will definitely stay again as a week is not long enough.

This is a beautiful cottage, very quiet despite being only just off the main road.
It is warm and comfortable and very nicely presented. It's position at the top of the Llyn Peninsular make it perfect for exploring the area in both directions - down the Peninsular and into Anglesey.
The cottage was perfect….
comfortable, stylish, well equipped kitchen and tastefully decorated. A thoughtful and welcoming touch was the taste of Wales goodies waiting for us in the kitchen. The location was great for us and could visit Anglesey, the Lynn peninsular, Snowdon, Portmeirion and Harlech all within 30 to 40 minutes drive, We loved the view across to the sea at Dinas Dinnle from the kitchen window and patio. After a stressful 18 months this was the break we needed.

Clean tidy comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Sunsets were amazing. Really didn't want to come home. Perfectly placed for all the places of interest. Excellent amenities Host was very friendly. Would recommend 100%.

This is a beautiful property which was spottlesly clean.
Sitting in the courtyard watching the sun go down over the sea was a real treat! It was a 5 minute drive to the beach and close to many attractions. We would definitely go again.

Beautiful cottage.
Clean and very comfortable, a home from home. We loved sitting outside with a glass of wine watching the sunset - just perfect! We were very lucky to enjoy some very sunny and very hot weather, fans for the bedrooms would be a good addition in future heat waves! But we loved it, thank you

Hen Stabl was one of the nicest properties we have stayed at, it has everything you require and was a home from home, it was spotlessly clean.
The views of the coastline / sunsets were amazing. We had a great family holiday and will return.

Secluded and with its own gated courtyard and the most amazing view especially at sunset. This cottage has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The owners little touches make it feel very homely. Definitely booking again
The cottage was fine and recommended but i had to fight tooth and nail to get a refund from Sykes.
On that basis I would not use them again. Sorry.

It was a great base for visiting the local attractions. The secret lane down to the village of Llandwrog was lovely and the beach at Dinas Dinlle is just beautiful.
We had a fantastic stay and loved the cottage.
It was a great base for exploring the area and it was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. When we arrived, the cottage was spotless and we especially liked the small welcome pack left for us, which included Welsh cakes and locally produced apple juice. We would definitely consider returning to Hen Stabl and would highly recommend.

A lot of thought has gone into its design and provision of everything that holiday folks could want. Situation is great! 5 mins from the sea in one direction and Mt. Snowdon in the other . Lovely little tortoiseshell cat who loved to curl up in the roots of an enormous old tree in the garden.
This beautiful cottage is set in an ideal location to explore the stunning coast of the Llyn Peninsula well as the mountains of Snowdonia.
The cottage is well equipped, finished to a high standard and met all our needs. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.
