  • "This is a superb property that is beautifully decorated."

The hosts have clearly put love and care into making the property homely and comfortable for their guests. The kitchen was well equipped and a joy to cook in. The hosts were friendly and left a selection of welcome(Easter) treats including fresh and delicious eggs from their own hens

  • "Ash Farm Cottage was an absolute joy to stay in."

Everything, and more, you required for a comfortable stay was catered for. We were greeted with a superb welcome pack, milk, welsh biscuits, eggs and a great deal more. We would have no hesitation in booking again, and would certainly recommend a stay to anyone who would like a quiet, but convenient rural retreat.

Lovely to meet you both. Hopefully see back at the cottage Gwenda and Phil x Property Owner

The Welcome Pack was really appreciated. Our only disappointment was that, due to poor weather, we were not able to make useful of the excellent outside facilities and fully appreciate the locality.

The cottage is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. You can see a great deal of thought has been given into equipping the cottage and it has worked. 10 out of 10 is not a high enough score. Walk in, unpack and enjoy, we did. Already planning to return next year. Thank you Gwenda, Phil and Tara. Sylvia & Alan

Spend the evening laughing with one another as you play board games and work as a team in the kitchen to whip up a meal for two, whilst cracking open a bottle of wine and toasting to precious moments spent together.

Climb the staircase to the first floor to discover a tranquil bathroom to freshen up with a shower or while away the hour with a soak in the corner bath.

Wander through to the double bedroom to select an outfit from the spacious fitted wardrobes, before sitting at the dressing table and taking your time to get ready for a wonderful evening of wining and dining in one of the local village pubs.

Make the most of the shared garden space on warmer days or light up the barbecue and dine alfresco on your private patio.

Close to the border of the English county of Cheshire, there are many luscious walks for you to embark on during your stay.

Hop in the car for a short drive to one of the many neighbouring towns to explore before grabbing a bite to eat in one of the local eateries.

You could then head on to Greenfield to view the medieval remains of Basingwerk Abbey and the stunning Greenfield Valley Heritage Park, before heading back to the annexe for a cosy night indoors.
