  • "We had a wonderful stay at Aber Wharf."

It exceeded our expectations. The property is modern, spacious and lets in lots of light, even on the duller days. It's extremely well equipped; if so inclined, you could make a full meal at the property. The beds are comfortable and the linen is clean and fresh. The views from the balcony overlook the estuary so you have a wonderful view of the Ffestiniog Railway trains as well as the little egrets and oystercatchers that frequent the area. We would certainly return in the future.

  • "Excellent layout with everything you would need for a relaxing stay."

The location of the property is about as good as you can get for all the facilities of Porthmadog, in particular the railway which we took advantage twice during the week.

  • "Aber Wharf is perfectly situated with the Ffestiniog and Welsh mountain railway on the doorstep."

Portmeirion is a short driveway as well as Harlech Castle and beach. Porthmadog itself has good shops and facilities and everyone met were friendly and helpful. The property has a lovely view from the balcony and the kitchen is well equipped. Unfortunately there was an unpleasant musty/damp smell in the bedroom nearest the car park and no room for a wardrobe. Car parking was ok, but South Snowden Wharf itself is a little run down.

Ideally positioned for discovering North Wales. We loved our stay. Many Thanks

  • "Great property in a location we have been to many times."

Amazing walks and plenty to do even though the weather wasn’t so great. Would recommend and go again. A little more expensive than other flats in the area but very well equipped, clean and with a good kitchen explains the price.

  • "Lovely charming property."

The wide angled lens used to take the photos is deceptive. The bedrooms are pretty small and the double bed is tiny. However when it comes to the balcony the photos simply don’t do it justice. It’s GORGEOUS. It’s bigger than the photos. The four of us often sat out there. The view is uninterrupted beauty. I will miss it. The small double bed was worth it just for the balcony. Overall a lovely property in a prime location. Lovely community of neighbours as well.

We arrived at the property and were delighted to find it was exactly as described. We shall go there again.

  • "The house was immaculate and it felt very clean and safe to stay there."

It is in a great spot with fantastic views across the estuary - always something going on, on the water. Lovely and peaceful. Very handy for shops and food (will be much better once eating in restrictions are lifted this week in restaurants). Kitchen is beautifully done and well supplied apart from the tiny fridge - which made it difficult to buy in much and we would have preferred a king size bed but that's just what we're used to. Really enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend.

The view over the estuary from the first floor balcony provides a beautiful backdrop. This was our second visit - we’ll be back next year.

Its location in Snowdonia enabled easy access to areas and places of exceptional interest such as Snowdon and Portmeirion. We particularly enjoyed a visit to Beddgelert..

  • "Overall a perfect location and a well appointed house."

Spotlessly clean and well furnished. Everything you could need. This would have achieved 5 stars if the bathroom was a bit bigger.
