Moelwyn 57D South Snowdon Wharf

The accommodation and location were both excellent lovely to be close to restaurants and shops etc but in a lovely quiet area .

The harbour views were amazing overall surpassed our expectations ! Only downside was the 4pm check in and 10 am checkout

A really nice property, well maintained.

A pity that the neighbours don’t do the same. Dead plants opposite front door and an abandoned chair in property below. The mattress on the double bed is dreadful. No support at all. My husband slept in the other room, in a single bed, after the first night. That was a bit better, but not by much. The owner insisted that it was a good quality mattress, not due for replacement for some years to come. We have a good quality mattress at home and can tell the difference! A pity, as otherwise this would be a lovely property to stay in and would warrant 5 stars.

Fantastic views with shops, pub, restaurant close by. This was a returning visit and we will be back again.

57D is probably the most stylish, thoughtfully-designed and comfortable holiday let we have stayed in, with everything you could ever want, great colourways, quality furnishings and lovely views.

The weather wasn't kind to us, but the flat was cosy and comfortable; our stay was totally relaxing and one we hope to repeat.

Close to shops & pubs (especially Spooners). Comfortable and well maintained with everything you need for relaxing holiday. Especially liked the treasure chest surprise. We will be back.

This property is fabulous.

It was spotlessly clean, beautiful furnishings and fully equipped. The view is spectacular across the harbour to the hills with a lovely balcony with a table and 4 chairs. The lounge area has very comfy large sofas , a super big tv (with Netflix for your own login) and heating and a electric fire if needed. The bathroom is spacious with a good shower. The double bedroom has plenty of drawers and wardrobe space with plenty of hangers. Very large comfy bed and snuggly duvet. The location is perfect for walking into Porthmadog for shops and restaurants and close to the Ffestiniog Railway. All in all Moelwyn 57D is perfect a real home from home Thank you so much to Mark and Jo who contacted us by text to welcome us and also for the Border biscuits and sharing your beautiful property with us.

Shops and restaurants in walking distance. Absolutely beautiful decoration and lovely view from the balcony. Nice and friendly contact with the owner. Would love to come back one day.

A truly wonderful place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable and has everything you need for a home away from home. The location was superb overlooking the marina. In both hot and rainy days the view was amazing. Also within easy walking distance to the town and all it's facilities. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

There is nothing not to love about this apartment!

Very modern with excellent fixtures and fittings throughout including the ability to listen to music whilst in the shower! The location is perfect for watching all the harbour activity and the north west facing balcony means you can enjoy the sun until it sets. What is also great is that this is a pet-free apartment.

Bonus having a balcony because it definitely has the best view of pothmadog harbour.

Information booklet about the property was helpful with clear guidelines for everything. Appreciated the availability of all weather bedding. It’s modern, clean, very well equipped and had everything we needed including a “gin and tonic” balcony overlooking the harbour. It’s 5 minutes walk from the coastal path leading to Borth y Gest, Morph Beacon bay (our favourites) and beyond. Train trip to Beddgelert was delightful.

Fabulous property , quality throughout.

Beds extremely comfortable. Balcony is stunning with views over the harbour. Position of the property is ideal as a base. Railway station 2 minutes walk. Shops, restaurants etc within a few minutes. Probably one of the best places we,ve stayed. No hesitation in staying there again.

The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need and finished to a high spec. The position of the apartment is close to the town, just a couple of minutes walk. There is a parking space for one car right outside. We highly recommend and we will definitely be back

Stunning property in great location.

The whole place is fitted out to very high spec with super comfy beds, plenty of towels and loads of great decorative touches. I think this property has the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever come across. Cute balcony to sit out in if lucky to get weather. A great base to explore the area and town has multiple supermarkets for any supplies you may need. Overall perfect property that couldn’t find single fault with and can’t recommend highly enough.

Some minor niggles, only one hand towel complete with holes, only one toilet roll and a 13 tog duvet - a bit too warm for July.
